Hash browns were given to me half destroyed...

Slowest Chick Fil A I've ever been to. I got into line with two cars in front of me total. We sat in line for over 10 minutes waiting for food while I watched the employees all talk to each other & laugh. (they asked the two cars in front of me pull up, just for us all to sit & wait.) Once I got my food I found half the hash browns were destroyed. There's a McDonald's and a Wendy's right next to this place, just go there...

The dark red I colored my hair to look nice for my first day of work.

Chick fil a has gone downhill. Everything but the chicken is good. The mac and cheese is still the best around though

Always friendly, always fresh, and very clean... I never had a bad experience at this business, if you have, it was a fluke.

I ordered the 6 piece with crinkle fries and slaw and a 32 oz. Drink. $19 for this. A little expensive on my opinion. The tenders were not big, they were a little below average, had a bland taste, very tender, juicy but needed spice. I did like the southwest sauce that came with it. Slaw was ok, nothing to brag about. The crinkle fries were dry and thin cut, hard and crispy. Everything was hot and fresh. Would I eat here again. Uhhhh, maybe. I wasn't overly impressed.

This place was recommended to us and we would highly recommend it!…read more It's located in a cute market square in downtown Knoxville, TN - lots of booths and some tables. We dined on a Sunday afternoon and had the place to ourselves. Service was excellent and fast with many folks checking on us throughout our meal. The menu has sandwiches, fried chicken, chicken fingers, ribs and more! It's definitely more focused on chicken. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, 3-piece chicken tenders and kids chicken and fries. Food arrived very quickly and was extremely hot and fresh! Chicken tenders were fresh and thin - a perfect combination. Fries and sweet potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft inside. We also had the greens and grits, which my husband raved about. A great southern fried restaurant was big portions and delicious food.

Myrtle's finally did, and now I'm questioning every church potluck of my childhood. Where has this been hiding all these years? The tomato pie comes out in a hot little crock with a golden, bubbling crust that smells like grandma's kitchen if grandma was a world-class baker. Think cheesy, creamy, savory layers over tomatoes that taste like they've seen sunshine and prayer. It's rich without being heavy and hits that perfect spot between home cooking and something a chef bragged about in culinary school. If you come here and don't order it, you're robbing yourself. The fried chicken tenders are solid, the tea fine, and the vibe feels like a casual local spot where you can relax after wandering around Market Square. Service was friendly and fine for a not-so-busy afternoon. Still, I'd go back just for that tomato pie. Honestly, I might plan a trip around it. If Myrtle's ever puts out a cookbook, I'd buy it just to see whether there's a secret ingredient or just generations of Southern guilt that kept this dish from me. Order the tomato pie. Trust me.

As good as I've had visiting Morocco and remote Berber areas with similar foods. In particular, I liked their family feast option that includes salad, two meats/entrees, couscous with veggies, and a desert. The detail and flavor of the cuisine is just great -- perfectly spiced and good portions. The food quality is on par with many nice restaurants in town. But, it wasn't busy when I visited on Saturday night. I suspect the low crowds are due to the location. It's tucked away in an area that looks like an office park near downtown. Not really any other restaurants or attractions that would bring most people to this area. That said, it had plenty of parking and was a nice setup. The other downside (for me at least) is they had a live musician who had his volume cranked up way too loud for this setting. Overall: Strongly recommended. I hope that people will try Tarik's because it's a unique option for Knoxville. They deserve the business because the food is truly very good. I promise you will enjoy it if you like this type of cuisine and give them a chance.
