We all know Chick-Fil-A is a well-oiled machine, and this South Lakeland location is no different. The greatness that has come to be expected at any CFA is as present here as ever. The drive-thru lines can get ridiculously long at times, with 3 different lanes! And they still get everyone's orders down and paid for super swiftly and I've never had to wait more than maybe 15 minutes to get my food and be on my merry way, which is crazy impressive. I've also picked up DoorDash orders there a bunch and done a curbside pickup order of my own, and most of the time they are very quick about coming right to your car with the food. At times it can take a bit longer than preferred, but I mean like I said before they can get soo busy and there's just always a constant flow of people so it's understandable they won't always be A++. And the workers are super sweet and friendly, as is the CFA way. One other thing that's very minor is the parking lot can be pretty chaotic especially at lunchtime randomly enough, just the way it's set up and with so many customers all the time it's like the least organized thing there, but not a huge deal. Went through the Chick-Fil-A drive thru that is normally long, but fast, I should have known when the line wasn't king to keep going. The food was quick, but first they tried to give me the wrong order, then I got my correct order, I asked specifically if the receipt and straw were in the bag, of course the answer was yes, but guess what? The receipt was in the bag, but wasn't readable and NO STRAW! Oh well, they don't have to worry about me coming back, I don't live in the area. read more

Haven't been through the drive through in a while but I must say that the personalized service is excellent. Chick-fil-A, hit a home run on this. Always great food and the fact that they are adding employees to speed up the drive through experience and or wait time is something really special. Hats off to Chick-Fil-A! read more

Went to Chik Fil A with my husband and my best friends. Had dinner was delicious. Our food came out quickly. We met a young man named Nicholas who was awfully sweet and attractive. He asked us if we were ok and made sure we had what we needed. I asked for another honey bbq sauce and got it. We talked to him and he said he's been with the company for over two years. He has a very good sense f customer service. Very polite very knowledgeable. With the menu. I spoke to the manager on duty raved about him. The restaurant was clean filled with so many people. It's fast food. Everything is done well. The one downside is constantly being pushed into narrow parking slots while extra wait is required in the drive through. The inside dining is a pleasant surprise. Meticulously cleaned. read more

I had ordered a peach milkshake, but when I tried it it tasted like vanilla. I was hesitant to speak up but I did and I'm very impressed with the employees here. The employee who had my shake replaced was named Harrison. He was very nice and understanding. I come to this Chick Fil A a lot due to being treated for cancer and having check ups on my recovery and I fully intend on coming to this location every chance I get. read more

There are 4 locations in Lakeland! Because I am a huge fan of this restaurant, I tried them all. Don't get me wrong the food can taste the same at all of them because her recipe never changes. However, South Florida is hands-down the best when it comes to Customer Service. Isaiah, Eddie, Malcom just to name a few... not only greet me by my first name when I walked through the front door, but they know exactly what I want and how I want it. I'm picky and I'm a major GERMAPHOBE and they all know it they don't judge me, they simply accommodate me. That's when you know you have found the right place to eat. Even though the drive-through is long with three different lanes, They work really fast to get you through. DO NOT go around 4 for curbside. Apparently it's shift change so even though the parking lot was mostly empty I still waited 15 minutes for three frosted lemonades. I finally went in myself and grab them. And they're already halfway melted. Totally unacceptable. And such a disappointment. Will go somewhere else next time for an afternoon treat. read more

Wish I could leave less than a 1 star rating. My meal arrived with pickles, which I specifically asked to NOT be on my sandwich. This is a meal that WILL NOT be eaten due to this and an allergy. Took over 30 minutes to get through to someone at the store and honestly what they said does not make up for the inconvenience. I will NOT go back to chick fil a. This was a sorry experience and a waste of money. Considering chick fil a prides themselves on their "superior" customer service, this experience left me wishing I had gone to McDonalds. read more

came in on new year's eve right before closing and although it was super busy Abby helped my boyfriend and me with our order. she handled the closing rush very professionally and even managed to take a phone call simultaneously. very great multitasker! we appreciate yours and the whole staffs hard work in this holiday. thank you again for great service & a seamless trip through your restaurant. happy new year! read more

I came in on 5/9/22 at 8:20am. I got off of work at 7am, but needed to go to my car insurance agent's at 9am, so I went to your S. Fla. Ave-Lakeland, Fl. Hey, it's CFA, and the food quality is consistent no matter where you go. The service is too. Cashiers, servers and cleaners are always friendly. Place definitely looks much cleaner than you average fast food joint. Prices and menu item seem about the same too. I got a #7 - grilled chicken club, which was $9.20 after tax. Good stuff! That being said, this place isn't perfect. It's definitely One of the most cramped CFAs I've been to. There's probably the same amount of square footage as other stores but everything is compacted here. Even the ordering queue is so cramped that the line snakes out into the dining area. They should implement a bank style queue with just one line and the next person goes to the next available cashier. Even the parking lot and drive thru is a bit of a cluster. Still, a less than stellar CFA is better than your average McDonald's or Wendy's. read more

We met with friends last night to have dinner at Chic-fil-A. We arrived at 430 before it got too busy. Easy parking at this time, although when it's busy, parking is a pain in the rear! We got right in, ordered, and had our choice of seats. This wasn't the case for the poor saps that wandered in at around 515. Our food arrived quickly and was super tasty! Kid had the kids meal; she went with the 6-piece instead of the 4 because she remembered how teeny tiny the nuggets are. But, she only ended up eating almost 4 of them so.... I had the spicy southwest salad. That thing is so good! It's full of flavor and texture, it's a decent size and that dressing is spicy and wonderful. It also is made with grilled chicken rather than fried. Why do I care when their chicken is always yum? Here's why; it states right on the menu that they use peanut oil to fry their fried chicken. So, that's a no for me. My peanut allergies are mild compared to others so if you're in that category, ASK about what would be safe for you to eat, if anything. Now, I've never been a super chic-fil-a lover. I've not been dissatisfied, I'm just not one of those "Omg it's Chic-Fil-A" people. But the winner here is the staff! So nice that even the kid recognized how friendly they are. And fast! I'm not sure how they manage to get a two time wrap around drive thu line taken care if so quickly but they do it! I think one thing that might be appreciated in the area, because so many people do love it so much, is another location. It's crazy to me that a city our size only has one (that I know of), especially when it gets as busy as it does. They're obviously doing something right! read more

This specific Chick-Fil-A is great. Everyone is so friendly. Fresh flowers at the table. The staff is always willing to keep the place clean and offers to take your trash. Clean place. The bathroom has complimentary mouthwash, which I've never seen before. There are those small cups with a mouthwash dispenser. Great service. read more

This is the greatest Chick-Fil-A I've ever been to. The food always comes fast (I usually dine-in) and is hot and fresh. The staff is super nice, and never had a problem with anyone. The only problem I've had is when they carry out my order to the tables and they miss us sometimes. They usually only go around a few tables and not the whole restaurant. This doesn't really bother me. True rating would be 4.5 if I could rate it that. read more

Just ordered almost $60 worth of food. Both salads were made incorrectly. Missing food. Wish I could say that it was the first time this happened. Whoever is checking orders needs to be retrained or put in another job. Food costs too much to incur these issues. read more

It was very busy today, Tuesday after New Years. We had grilled nuggets, regular nuggets and spicy deluxe meals. We waited a little but not bad, food came out pretty quick. All was very good. Store was being kept pretty clean by gentleman in the lobby area sweeping and cleaning tables. read more

Hadn't been to this restaurant since the remodel. It was packed. Went on a whim and apparently went through the app order line. The attendant was nice however we didn't know what we wanted so she had to go find a menu which we weren't allowed to touch but was so small it was hard to read from a distance. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and an 8 count nuggets combo. We then picked up our order and drove to parking place to eat it. We received 2 8 counts and no sandwich. We decided Just to eat it. The fries were warm but the chicken was cool and dry. After the Disney ride-like line and the mediocre food it is unlikely that we will return to this restaurant. Just across the street you have PDQ with superior food. If you want a real Chicken sandwich try Popeyes just down the street. Why this place is always so busy is beyond me! read more

The place is nice and clean in the indoor and outdoor seating is a lot of fun. The Florida Avenue location does have limited parking and the downtown one plenty of parking. Either way I was there to meet a group of ladies and we had a nice time discussing our businesses and enjoying black and brewed food .
