We discovered the Chicken Salad Chick where we live up in Knoxville, TN and saw there was one down here so we stopped by after the Strawberry Festival (gotta balance the unhealthy fair festival food with something a little better for you! The sandwiches are pretty good though the sides can be hit or miss. Pasta salad is heavy on the pesto, broccoli tastes very plain, but the mac and cheese is nice and creamy. The Buffalo Barclay tastes just like a high quality traditional buffalo dip. It does have a slight kick to it though. Parking at this location is tricky as it shares a building with a Dunkin. It's easy to get in and out in under 30 minutes. Service is very quick and attentive. read more

Chicken Salad Chick is a hit! I'll admit, for the longest time I had heard about this place but didn't understand the hype. Chicken salad is not a favorite of mine or something I'd probably ever crave or want specifically for a meal. But I also must admit that after finally checking out the new Lakeland CSC, I get it. Everything here was doke with care and detail. From the seasonal decorations to the kind workers checking on you to the mini (and delicious) cookie they include with every meal ordered. It was a bit confusing coming in the first time and figuring out how things work. But one do the workers explained it well- pick a chicken salad (there's literally like a dozen or so to choose from), and then you can either have it by itself or on a sandwich. I tried a spicy chicken salad on a sandwich and was quite impressed. They had fruitier chicken salads if you're more into that, though it's not my thing so I'd for sure come back for the spicy ones. You get a side with your chicken salad- I don't see they have a rotating soup selection so that will be my choice next time. But I got the broccoli salad and it was enjoyable. The one thing I knew I'd get here because I had randomly tried it before was the vanilla cake. I'm telling you, it's so strange that a chicken salad place would have such a good cake but this one is magical. It's moist and sweet but not too sweet and just delicious, try it! I'll also say the one thing I didn't like about this location is the weird parking lot. It's connected to a drive thru Dunkin' donuts which makes it chaotic with people walking into CSC while cars are speeding around for the drive thru and to get in and out. I heard other people walking in and out complaining about it too. But, I would not have considered myself a chicken salad chick before coming here, but now I just might be okay with it. read more

The place is becoming less of a value and more put more pressure on the customer to buy more to feed the same family with less food. taking away from your menu means less options for families. Great new spot in Lakeland with a wonderful menu and some dozen kinds of chicken salad. Have enjoyed a sandwich and a trio salad. My favorite are Cranberry Kelly & Fancy Nancy but so far each is special--the buffalo wing one was a surprise "like". Onion one is a bit strong with onions but still enjoyed it. Cookies are good, love the broccoli salad. Wasn't as thrilled with the whole grape salad (cut them!) and a little too creamy. The take homes seem a little high priced so haven't done that yet. Concerns: 1. parking lot safety with a wrap around drive thru for Dunkin that encompasses CSC. 2. No drive-thru for CSC. 3. Parking is awkward so easier to go at odd hours. 4. Didn't like the white cake recipe they use. Overall a great addition! Think it will outgrow it's size quickly. and hey-then it can absorb Dunkin'. read more

I don't know what magic they put in this food but damn it's good! This is my first time ordering from the new Lakeland location but I've had CSC before. This was just as good as I've had in the past. Everything was fresh and delicious. My favorites are the cranberry Kelli and the broccoli salad. We will definitely be back. read more

Lunch at the Chicken Salad Chicks was delicious! My husband had the Chicken Salad BLT on white toasted with the grape salad. I had the scoop of Fruity Fran and Egg Salad which was delicious! Each entree came with a dill pickle and cookie! Great menu items offering a unique and fresh selection. Service was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean. They offer rewards so I took advantage of downloading and using the app. I rated a 4 out of 5 because of interior layout. While the seating was nice it was difficult to get around to the drink station and restroom when crowded because of the tight layout. read more

The customer service was awesome! There was a very long line due to it being opening day but it moved surprisingly quick. The food was delicious! It's a very family friendly restaurant and even has high chairs in the back (you just have to ask one of the employees). If you have never been to a chicken salad chick you need to go! The website said it was closed, even though it was during normal business hours. We had to call to find out if they were actually open. Then, we tried to order online for pick up, only to have the site repeatedly dismiss our orders. So, we called again to try to order via phone and were told it wasn't possible and we had to come in to the store to order. The man on the phone said it should only take a few minutes because they weren't busy. My husband went to the store to order, only to find the place packed. People everywhere waiting for orders. After all of this, they were out of what we wanted to order. And they didn't care. This place is literally five minutes away and he was gone 45 minutes to get our food!!! I love Chicken Salad Chick and I've been to several of them and all were pretty good. This one is awful. read more
