Our server, Paige greeted us and took our drink order. She was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Pot Roast with Dumplins and macaroni and cheese. It was delicious! It is why I come here. The Pot Roast is tender and flavorful. The Dumplins were hot and tasty. I really liked their macaroni and cheese too. Of course, you are offered a choice of biscuits or cornbread. My family really enjoyed their meals too. It was a wonderful dining experience!

Very cute store where I bought a few mini spice shakers. The food was all very generous portions. The biscuits were so good and came with our meals. The meatloaf looked very dry, but actually was quite moist and delicious. The chicken and dumplings were just okay; I prefer the dumplings that are like a ball and smaller pieces of chicken. The fried chicken was just okay as well. I got the 3 entrees and 3 sides, and the Mac and cheese, hash brown scramble, and cinnamon apples were all pretty good. The staff was all very friendly. My husband got the steak fries and hush puppies which were decent. Overall, it was a decent meal for the price and portions!

This location requires quite a few turns but is worth the mapping out. It was late, and Cracker Barrel was open offering something beyond the standard late night bites. I appreciate the all day breakfast menu, but was tempted by their dinner sampler options - going with the 2 meals (Meatloaf and Dumplings) but 3 sides. I was not expecting it to be so large for the price! In fact all the portions were very generous in our party. Despite the layer hour everything tasted freshly prepared and the service was just as welcoming as it is during the day. Our server was attentive, and even offered us waters to go which was much appreciated. I don't usually go for the dinner options, being a breakfast lover especially outside of typical breakfast hours, but after this experience I'm eager to try more of the dinner options.

We were driving from St. Petersburg to Jacksonville today and decided to stop here for some breakfast. There were a few people in front of us in line but we were then seated. The restaurant was pretty full. The menu offered about a dozen different breakfast items. They start serving lunch at 11. I had the bacon and egg breakfast casserole. It was good and also came with two biscuits. My husband had the grandma special. It came with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, ham and one other side. He chose cinnamon apples. We both enjoyed our meals. Service from Tiffany was friendly and good. They also have a store with many items to buy.

I love Cracker Barrel! I got the pot roast meal and it was just delicious! I am disheartened they changed the decor inside but it is more open and brighter inside, the service is always friendly and I will always be going back!

Meowdy y'all! Had a great time, very impressed with the large portions and fast service. Thankfully this location retains the classic old logo. Hoo boy don't get me started on that new woke logo!!

We've been coming here for the better part of 10 years. Seriously, this place is fantastic. Today we came in just after the lunch rush. And what makes me write a review after all this time is because The Reuben has been added to their sandwich lineup. I am a sucker for a good Reuben. I love some of the various versions out there like a Grouper Reuben or a Turkey Reuben but there is nothing like an original. The bread is their marble rye which was already freakin fantastic; patty melts are phenomenal here. The ratio of corned beef and sauerkraut was spot on perfect. Don't you just hate it when it's out of balance? The cheese was perfectly melted and the dressing was oh so good. It was sandwich heaven. My apologies for having no pictures. I don't know if I was especially hungry today or what, but when the food hit the table the hubs and I dove straight in.

We finally got a table to share with other people. My Mom and my older brother Bill ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage. They said the Corned Beef was pretty good, but the Cabbage was tough and not good. My brother Jonathan ordered the Pancake special with sausage and home fries. They didn't warn him that the pancakes would be green, lol. We thought it was pretty funny, but he said they didn't taste that good. He loved the rest of his breakfast. I had the French toast and bacon with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. I loved the French toast and bacon, but didn't like the hashbrowns and eggs. It was really hit or miss. The restaurant didn't seem very clean either. We had fun anyway.

The workers were extremely welcoming and they even greeted us with a complimentary dry champagne because it was our first visit. Nate our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The maitre'd Neal checked on us as well and that made us feel even more at home. I ate the eggs benedict and it's a nice twist using jamón ibérico and melt in your mouth biscuit. My boyfriend ate the prime rib that had a dry rub and made specifically only for brunch which he said was divine. We can't wait to come back and checkout what more they have to offer. Not knowing what to expect, we made reservations and were greeted with pleasantries, immediately seated, and welcomed. The octopus was smoky and tender. Just right-at least that's what little red riding hood said . I don't remember much else because food kept coming and I kept eating. We had the best service that night and the owner came and spoke with us. He told us the reason behind the name which is when his family came to the US. Fast-forward to July 2, 2026, I visited Lakeland, to see my mom who lives there. The hotel happened to be down the block from Nineteen61. My mom's appetite had waned. I was concerned but knew if she got what she wanted it would help her to regain her appetite. She wanted an entire snapper. Not many restaurants serve the whole fish (head and all). I called and, what do you know, they serve deep-fried yellowtail snapper. The whole fish. Reservations for 8:30pm the same night and we arrived at 8:10 p and were immediately seated. I had the miso salmon, hubby had the rack of lamb, and mom got her fish. We added ripe plantains and started with the calamari. It was not bready. Just the right amount of dusting for a crunchy texture. But the sauce was tangy and sweet-so good. Oh, the salad-nix the cheese. The dressing is amazing. My husband ordered the Riesling, and I got the moscato. Mom went with a strawberry daiquiri. Here is where things get interesting. We are sweet wine drinkers and the Rieslings we are used to are sweet. This was dry. So the server gave him a taste of the moscato and he went with that. I don't know what they do with wine when you send it back-so I opted to keep the glass of Riesling and mix it with my Moscato. I cannot explain the result. Suffice to say we both enjoyed the mixture. The restaurant was busy. That is always a good problem to have. The servers and bus teams worked swiftly and maneuvered among the diners, crisscrossing through the ravines created by the tables with finesse. We received a ample attention and we needed it-adding and asking for condiments to which they supplied. The bar was amptly stocked and the decor inside the restaurant captures the history. What was more appealing was the size of the restaurant made it feel like you were dining in your own private nook. Yes, I would return to Nineteen61 again and again. Worth it!
