This was my first time at a Chick-fil-A drive thru and wasn't aware of the high standards the company sets for their restaurants, so needless to say I was blown away by the quality of service at this location. I was greeted by a sweet employee outside that took my order as a means to assist the electronic drive thru machine. She directed traffic and managed to keep 2 separate lines of cars in line during a lunch rush. At the pick up window I was again greeted by kind employees who were quick to help each other and get the line moving. I was out in about 5 minutes. My beloved Chick-Fil-A, a franchise I frequent at least twice a week during my travels, is typically the fastest, most courteous group, but this location is so poorly managed, ANY other fast food group in the area is better than this location. Every time I've been to this location, I've waited over 4 minutes to get my meal, and I might as well be a ghost to the staff. My family and I LOVE Chick-fil-A. We eat there 1-2x per week and stop there on road trips 99% of the time. Chick-fil-A's are almost universally amazing. But this Rivergate location is the exception. They are so slow in the drivethru that they make Wendy's look fast. Food quality is below the norm. Orders are sometime incorrect. It's a 100% average fast food experience. This Chick-fil-a has excellent customer service. The drive thru line is usually backed up but you can always walk in and have a much quicker transaction. The exceptional employees are the ones walking around asking you if you need anything, giving refills, and taking trash/trays. Super sweet folks. Horrible experience!!! Won't ever return since I'm not welcomed. And to make it worse the manager is the one that treated me and another companion in an ugly manner. I even called the chick-fil-a hotline to tell them about my experience. Of course at first they acted as though they cared and informed the manager to call me. Lover of Chick-fil-A! Known to visit at least once or twice a week. Lately (as in the past couple of months) there's a difference. My go to is the spicy chicken sandwich combo. The chicken now has a chewiness (slight toughness)to it leaving it less desirable. I've tried giving the Chick-fil-A several tries (not wanting to give up on my favorite place) but each time it's the same result. The frys are now typically served half fresh on top and beneath are the older smaller ends of pieces to fill up the remaining portion of the box. This particular chick-fil-a pre wraps there chicken breakfast burritos. The wrapping even had a piece of scotch tap on it. All of this to say if you order a breakfast burrito here be prepared to eat a soggy, lumpy, seamed log. Very disappointed. read more

Conveniently located near Rivergate Mall (on the side past Target), it was no different from any other Chick fil A I've visited. There was a line wrapped around the building, so we opted to go inside. Service was fast and friendly. I even ran into someone from high school. The absolute worst service and food I have ever received at any of their locations. How hard is it to not put pickles onto a chicken sandwich and to not use ice when someone says they would like to drink with no ice because they recently had dental work done. I went back took the items inside and was told that I must be wrong that everything was made the way I ordered it even the outside packaging said no pickles yet I showed them the sandwich with pickles on it and the young lady at the counter insinuated that I must've put pickles on there myself. So have you ever gone to a fast food place and been absolutely blown away by customer service? I didn't think so. Step foot into this chick-fil-a and you'll leave with that very feeling. And I'm talking this location more so than others. I walk into this chick-fil-a, where I haven't been in about 8 months. I place order, give name and pay. Turn around to grab a straw and instead of calling my name to walk 4 steps back up to the counter (bc I could do that you know) to get my order, someone walks out with my food on a tray, addresses me by name and asks where I'd like to sit. I think to myself, ha... I remember this. I smile, take my tray and find a seat on my own. During my meal someone stops by to ask if I have everything I need. 3 or so minutes later same person walks up and asks if I'd like a refill. Takes my cup without the top and gets me a refill. He brings the drink back and notices I've devoured my spicy chicken sandwich and fries meal, hands me my drink and takes my tray to the trash and dumps it. This is standard practice at this Rivergate location (every single time I've been there). Is there such thing as a 5 star fast food restaurant? If so, this chick-fil-a qualifies hands down.
