She was so helpful and just the sweetest. A guy approached us trying to converse when we were really just trying to talk to each other (he was harmless), but Bethany still kept an eye on us to make sure we were okay, which made me feel really safe. The decor inside was nice: large leather booths and very interesting art. I loved the beaver Mona Lisa at the back entrance (or at least I think it's a beaver lol). Maybe it was a little empty because of the day/time, but it was nice to be able to have a conversation with my friend without having to scream over a ton of people or loud music. They do have live music on certain days if you like that kind of thing, but Sunday was super chill. There's also a QR code on the tables that leads to a menu for the food truck parked outside. They bring the food right to you, so it's very convenient to have a snack while you're drinking. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I'm glad I no longer have to drive 30 minutes and pay $30 for parking just to have a drink.

The bar does not serve food, but there is always a local food truck outside where you can purchase food. I went on the Grand Opening Night. There was a live band playing covers of Fleetwood Mac. The bar has non alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic beers. There are comfy couch type seats as well as bar high tops. You order at the bar, and the bar has a good mixture of German beers as well as cocktails. Another perk for me was that the youngest age group was millennials.

The extra bread never came when it should have, and when it finally did, they brought only two tiny slices and told us the kitchen was backed up. At that point, they honestly should not have brought it at all. The rest of the bread didn't arrive until we were already halfway through our entrees. I had also asked for balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil to go with the extra bread we were expecting. The waiter came back and said they had neither olive oil nor balsamic vinegar, but that he had brought me a different oil instead. He never explained what it was. I put it on the bread, and it turned out to be extremely spicy and completely ruined my palate. On top of that, when we first arrived, I asked the host to let our waiter know that I wanted a dessert at the end of dinner with "Congratulations on your engagement" written on the plate. She said it would be possible. But when dessert came, instead of doing what I had specifically requested, the waiter just said, "Congratulations on your engagement." It was disappointing, especially since they had already said they could do it. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service was disorganized, inattentive, and disappointing enough that it overshadowed the whole experience.

Since it was a beautiful evening,we sat outside and enjoyed a few Happy Hour beverages. My wife had the Mahi Mahi burger with grilled pineapple with a honey sesame glaze minus the bun and a side of broccoli. I chose their shrimp tacos with homemade chips and hush puppies. Everything was flavorful, fresh and delicious. Portions were just right. This is a fun place to enjoy watching the boats come and go or a Tennessee sunset.

It's perfectly enjoyable and hits the spot for a casual meal. What truly makes this place shine is the atmosphere. The scenery is absolutely beautiful -- you're right by the water with boats passing by, a soft breeze, and that laid-back lake vibe that makes you want to linger. It's calm, cool, and the perfect spot to unwind. The menu has a little bit of everything -- salads, seafood, burgers, and plenty of drinks from beers to iced tea. It's a great place to go with family, friends, or even for a casual business lunch. Whether you come for a full meal, just appetizers, or a sunset drink, it's a wonderful way to enjoy the day and soak in the view.
