I ordered my breakfast at 9something in the morning just for them to tell me at 10:40 that they no longer have my breakfast because they ran out. No refund no anything. I know this is New Orleans' / Metairie's newest Chick Fil A and there are always bugs to work out at any new location. And this location is no different. However, I think this location has got most of the kinks worked out. Airline Drive at its intersection with Severn Avenue is an interesting location. This is a purely industrial area but there is a neighborhood behind the restaurant. As this location is close to my son's school, and he loves Chick Fil A, we come here quite a bit. Thankfully they have a large parking lot, as there is very minimal street parking and it's only on one side of the business. Airline Drive has its share of transients, but the restaurant clientele is pretty good. When they first opened, service was a little slow; especially the drive through. Now that they have a mobile app line too, it has helped. It can still get backed up, but not as bad as before. All the employees are polite and they do a good job of cleaning up the tables as soon as a patron is done. They also refill drinks like "Johnny on the spot". Lastly, I'd like to mention two specific employees who have served me many times and they always go above and beyond with excellent service, a smile and a great disposition. They are Ken and Danny. Both are the consummate professionals and are great ambassadors for Chick Fil A. read more

I've gone here twice in the last few months and both times have been wonderful. I used the Mobile app and just love their Mobile Order lane. There's a separate lane for Mobile order pickup and all you have to do is scan the QR code at the drive up and then they bring your order to you. Each time I've gone, my order has been correct and packed nicely. All of the associates are friendly. I've never gone inside so I can't review the inside. Today I got my favorite Southwest Spicy Chicken salad along with a chicken sandwich and their Peppermint Chip Frosted coffee which was so wonderful, I can't wait to get another. I like to order here versus the more crowded Veterans location. read more

I've only used the mobile app for this location - for both inside pickup and for the sit at a table and get food delivered to you functions. I've not had problems other than a bit of a wait. I enjoy the table delivery function and have found the employees to be extremely friendly and helpful. It's a peaceful place for a late breakfast. The sausage egg and cheese biscuits are delicious and hit the spot. read more

Unfortunately this location still does not have their act together. I first went there shortly after they originally opened. My order was missing items and the wait in the drive thru, even though there were only about 4 cars, was a long wait. I chalked it up to that they were new and still working everything out. I waited a couple months before I went back again, and I only went because it is near my house and was convenient to make a quick last minute dinner stop. I placed our order at the drive thru. I like tomatoes a lot and always ask for extra tomatoes. I was told they were out of tomatoes, so we could not get any at all on any of our sandwiches. I ordered nuggets instead and when I opened the box at home, it was a bunch of scrawny burnt pieces that I had to throw away. My thought was they still don't have their act together here. Flash forward, letting more time pass to get their act together, my friend wanted to get shakes from here. We went through the drive thru and she got a plain vanilla shake. I got an oreo cookie shake. We drove away with our shakes. I learned that mine had no oreos in it. Instead it just had chocolate syrup. I think I'm going to give up on this location altogether. All 3 experiences were bad. The workers there are mostly young teens and predominantly all very immature. The ones taking the orders at the drive thru seem to be efficient, but when you pass them and wait for the other ones to put the orders together and hand them out, each time has been very poor customer service. Drive thru efficient. Excellent service & excellent food. I still like the chicken sandwich best (with all the fixings') but I have to admit I'm starting to really like the kale salad as a side instead of their excellent fries! I want to try the new floats but I'm having trouble understanding their descriptions. I'm wondering if they're like regular ice cream floats we used to order from other places with "real" ice cream? I'll call & get back here after trying the product. The technological innovation options provided to their customers is another way to meet that need. Customer service is always great but with the new advances, now busy lifestyles are being met? Even if you place your order in advance you're stuck in the slowest drive thru because they have blocked off the second lane. I waited over 20 minutes in the drive thru. Like many, I was excited to see this location open due to proximity. And like many other locations, they were friendly, clean, accurate,and efficient, with very tasty food. I still find this location to be friendly, clean, and accurate with tasty food. Efficiency seems to be an issue lately, so I downloaded the mobile app to help speed up my wait time. However, when I arrived I had to scan a code to initiate my order. Also, I discovered that the mobile app lane was blocked off and I was forced to merge into the regular drive through lane without assistance. Needless to say, this was rather difficult given that everyone else was also frustrated by the unanticipated lack of efficiency. I hope the Airline location resolves this issue soon! read more

This Chick-fil-A is new and needs to do so much work to improve. I have never had a visit go so wrong in so many ways. The drive through line took forever and there were only four cars ahead of us. By forever, I mean at least ten minutes. They got our order wrong in multiple ways. They forgot one salad and it's dressing but we got the toppings. For the other two salads, we got everything except the dressing. They also forgot the sauce for the nugget meal and I wouldn't call the French fries warm. Then, they gave us two napkins. Yes, two for four obvious meals. That was the most ridiculous part of this whole experience. I have no idea why I checked the order because it's Chick-fil-A and they always get it right but I'm glad I was only a few blocks away. They were of course wonderful when I returned and fixed everything. I maybe go a couple times a year so maybe they'll have it together if I go back. read more

Ordered mobile order- when I got there I scanned QR code like asked. Then waited to have to merge into the drive thru line, when there are separate lines for drive through and mobile orders (during the busiest time of day- LUNCH) Once received bags, got to office and realized 1/2 of my order was missing. Tried to call them on the phone, four times and no one answered. Had to drive back there and circle parking lot for 10 minutes until a spot opened up and I could go inside to collect the rest of my order. Once receiving remainder of order, returned to office to discover they didn't even give me correct count of nuggets in the order. I am a frequent chick fil a customer and I have never received service like this. I rooted and cheered for this location but not holding up to the CHICK FIL A standard. I was so excited for this Chick-fil-A to open in my neighborhood. This is the slowest location I have ever been to, even when there are only a handful of cars in line. I've given it a couple months because it's new and it's a lot of young kids but they need to figure something else out. Also, I always use the mobile app, and this location has you scan the QR code upon entering the line, but they have the mobile line blocked off with cones and then you have to merge with the other cars. Just let the mobile line pull straight and keep it separate. The normal line acts as if I cut them off every time. I haven't had issues with any food being missing or made wrong, so I guess that's a positive. I'm mainly writing this review in hopes the store will make changes. read more
