My mother paid $27 for three cob salads and we did not receive the key lime Ranch avocado dressing that she asked for.

On my long drive home from Mount Pleasant to Moncks Corner after a 12 hour shift at work, I had…read moreplenty of time to consider what I'd want for dinner. Moncks Corner has so many fast food restaurants but today I wanted to spend my money on a local establishment That's My Dawg. I walked in, weary from a long day running events to be greeted by a guitarist, backing tracks, and 6 whooping elderly patrons. They were enjoying themselves, a little tipsy, and loud. Fortunately I wasn't looking for peace and quiet, just a quick to go order of a chili dog, sausage dog, wings, and onion rings. I shuffled my way to the counter, carrying the weight of the day only to wait 5 minute before spoken to by one of the servers. My order was placed quickly and was assured it would be out "soon." I took my seat to listen to a good guitarist with better backing tracks fighting a losing battle with the impending headache forming at the back of my skull. At the 10 minute mark I considered ordering a drink to silence my inner voice of doubt telling me I should have just gone to Chick-fil-a but surely my food would be out "soon." At the 20 minute mark, the guitarist stopped his set to take a break as I watch other patrons receive their food and drinks after I had ordered. I could only assume extra time and attention was being used for me. Perhaps they needed to grind the sausage in the back before cooking and serving it for my order. Perhaps they had to pluck all those fresh chicken wings. Maybe they were harvesting the onion in real time to deliver it to me. My orders surely not just food, but a statement of art and love too beautiful for human consumption. My excited and eagerness grew until the 30 minute mark when a different server asked if I had been helped. Was my order lost? Had I been forgotten? Maybe they weren't freshly grinding my sausage dog after all! Everything seemed to be ok because after I said I had a to go order, she never returned to give me an update. I had considered resting my eyes, which became increasingly difficult after the guitarists mandatory rendition of "Sweet Caroline" at the 45 minute mark. That's when the angel from the kitchen appeared, bag in hand. My expectations: high My anticipation: at a fever pitch My hunger: endless My reason to give my wife for taking so long: formulating I smiled and took the bag eagerly to my car to drive the 5 minutes to my house to enjoy this meal clearly crafted with an artist's hand and a mother's heart. ...the first words my wife spoke regarding her hot dawg was "weird" My sausage dog was serviceable, the wings were serviceable, the onion rings were also....serviceable. As I sat on my couch ignoring survivor, trying to enjoy the food I waited an entire set to receive, and holding back a primal scream regarding my 6am call time; a single tear fell down my cheek in my sheer disappointment and defeat from this experience. Maybe I'll go back when I'm not coming from work, and have no where to be urgently, and there isn't entertainment, and can order food in my third Jack and Coke. I really do want to try one of the great hot dogs I've been hearing about.

We recently hosted our daughter's First Communion celebration at Ophelia's Wines & Bites, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. Throughout the planning process, numerous promises were made regarding setup assistance, décor, staffing, food portions, beverage service, and overall event coordination that were either not followed through on or changed entirely by the day of the event. Family members and guests ended up handling many tasks that we were told would already be completed, including decorating, organizing tables, lighting candles, and addressing missing items while guests were arriving. Food portions were much smaller than represented during the tasting, several items we expected to be included were charged separately, beverage service was poorly managed, and there was little to no actual table service despite paying for what was presented as an "all-inclusive" event experience. Most upsetting was the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability afterward. We spent a significant amount of money expecting professionalism and hospitality, but left feeling stressed, embarrassed, and taken advantage of during what should have been a very special day for our daughter. I am sharing this simply so others thoroughly clarify ALL expectations, pricing, staffing, setup responsibilities, food quantities, and service details in writing before booking an event there.

The atmosphere is charming, and the space itself appeared clean, but the place was completely empty during our visit, which surprised us. I ordered a Lambrusco from the sparkling section of the menu and expected something bubbly, but what came out was a still red wine. Everyone at the table was a little confused by that. Thankfully it still tasted good, so I kept it -- just not what I thought I ordered. For food, I had the crostini, which tasted good, but for the price I expected larger portions rather than very thin slivers of toasted bread with cheese and fruit. We also ordered the s'mores, which were fun and tasty, but again didn't quite feel worth the cost. A few more strawberries or a way to toast the marshmallows would've elevated it. The service was truly great, though. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, attentive, and checked on us often. She was definitely the highlight of the visit. The only real downside was seeing a few roaches on the wall. I know it's the South and it happens, but it's still not ideal in a dining setting, even in a place that otherwise seemed clean. Overall, Ophelia's has so much charm and potential, and with a few improvements -- clearer menu descriptions, portion adjustments, and addressing the pest issue -- it could be a wonderful go-to spot.

Upon my arrival, I entered the building via the outward opening door centrally located on the D-side of the building. I moved directly to the point of sale, was met by Sheryl, and ordered a classic meal adequately described as containing 4 chicken fingers, fries, and a fountain drink. I chose honey barbecue as my tossin' sauce as well as my dippin' sauce. I located a two top and took a seat. A few moments later, my meal was delivered. The tenders were wonderfully moist and perfectly fried. There was not an excess of sauce. The fries were crunchy outside, soft inside. The drink was Cherry Coke. I went back for a $7.76 banana pudding. It came in a branded mason type jar with lid, so it was worth it. It tasted wonderful. The staff were just as amazing as the food. I was disappointed, however, at a lack of memorabilia of Son House or Robert Johnson. Nothing from Greenwood or Clarksdale, MS. No Highway 49 or Highway 61 references. Thankfully, I also found no indications of large black dogs, just amazing food. No photos/video. End of Report.

I ordered a chicken sandwich meal and ordered my husband a cayenne ranch chicken sandwich meal. I got 2 honey mustard's and 2 ranch dipping sauce. I got home and we opened our items and my husband's was okay but my sandwich looked like it was thorn in the box and there were no fries I ordered. The sprite was crispy and refreshing and the honey mustard sauce was so good. The sandwich wasn't that great.

Still not a word from her. I asked for a drink holder and she tipped her head like a dog when they don't understand. But she did not ask what I said. I had to point to them inside the window. She took my money, handed me the drinks (in a holder;) ) and the food. Got 2 of the 2 pc bone-in chicken meals for kids. They were so small it looked like they came from a pigeon. Also got a 3 pc tender meal with the tinyest cup of rice . They too were small and dry and overcooked. At least they got the drinks right!! Customer Service was TERRIBLE!!!! NEVER A THANK YOU ! I won't be going back ever !! (Chick-fil-a should offer classes on how to treat a paying customer properly and respectfuly. They get it!)

"Bojangles: A Rollercoaster of Culinary Catastrophes!"…read more Review: Oh, Bojangles, where do I even begin? My recent visit to this fast food establishment left me questioning the very fabric of reality. As I approached the speaker, I had to lean out into the cold rainy night to barely decipher the wonderful voice of a woman saying, "you gotta give me a minute" When I made my way to the window, I was greeted by a team of employees who seemed to be engaged in an intense game of hot potato with my order. After finally taking possession of my order I was presented with a sad excuse for poultry that looked like it had been run over by a lawnmower. But wait, the adventure didn't end there! The "famous" Bojangles fries were as limp as a wet noodle and tasted like they had been seasoned with disappointment and regret. And don't even get me started on the so-called sweet tea, which played the same game of hot potato with the sugar after I received one prepackaged half gallon of sweet tea and another that tasted like it was in a weird polyamorous relationship with sugar, but wasn't allowed to touch! I was missing 4 biscuits, multiple sauces and an entire order of biscuits and gravy. The "gravy" must have just changed recipes, because it tasted frighteningly similar to mashed potatoes. In conclusion, if you enjoy the feeling of disappointment and regret, please visit this Bojangles franchise, you'll be remarkably surprised.
