It's been a few years, but we're back! I think Chick-fil-A has learned not to call white people inherently racist, so they're okay now. The problem is, I keep going to eat there on Sundays, and they're closed . . . Isn't EVERY day the Lord's day? Anyhoo, leaving the Renaissance Faire, where to eat? The girl said "Chick-fil-A". There are several around Conroe, and I happened to spot this one at the Montgomery City Limit. So here we went. The kinda small parking lot was nearly full, and the restaurant was not full, so be ready to walk a little. The usual smiling staff, always ready to help. Kids play area. We had our usual sammies; in my case, Spicy Chicken Deluxe with pepperjack cheese (I like my spice). The food was as good as any other CfA I've been to, not knock-your-socks-off-wow good but still good. Chick-fil-A wants you to have a good experience. We did. It's a good franchised stop in the Lake Conroe area. And if you're hungry but today is Sunday . . . well, where's the nearest Popeye's? read more

Seems like the food was "day old" fare. Hard, lukewarm fries and sandwich. Chicken had a weird metallic taste. I've never had a bad experience at any location so this was unexpected. Won't be visiting this store again. Threw the whole meal out. Good money down the drain! read more

Ordered chicken strips, oil was significantly burnt and after eating one strip couldn't finish the rest because of the taste and smell. Was not offered a refund, instead was offered more strips. The quality of food at this location doesn't meet Chick-fil-A standards, nor does the customer service. Needs new management. read more

This Chick Fil A must have caught some people on an off day. We have been there a number of times and have always had the service we have come to expect from any other Chick Fil A. The staff is always friendly, nobody should be debating that one. I am sure there are instances and or occasions that might throw a wrench into an experience or two, but we have never had that happen to us. We have been there at breakfast, during lunch and even at dinner time. We have also used the drive thru as well. The speed and efficiency in which they take orders and get them right tops any other quick serve eating establishment out there. I would even say they surpass In and Out Burger, which in my opinion ranks pretty high up there. If anyone had a bad experience at this location, I suggest giving them another try, every business has bumps, I can't imagine driving all the way into Conroe for CFA, as I have seen people say they do. Businesses read reviews, and if you tell them what they did wrong, they generally try to fix it. read more

I was just in here today and waiting for my food to go, and a guy sitting at the table close to me called one of the employees from the back, out to talk. I could tell he made her feel uncomfortable, and she even started crying from him getting on to her! I got up to tell the workers to keep an eye on him because he seemed to be making her feel uncomfortable and they responded with the man was the "operator" so the "owner of this Chick-fil-A." What horrible management to scold an employee and make her cry around tables with customers sitting at them. Very distasteful, and I feel sorry for the woman just trying to get through the day. If you have something to tell an employee, speak with her in private like a professional, not put her on display in front of customers to embarrass her! Shame. read more

Final straw today I waited at the drive thru for 10 min. Multiple cars went through the right hand side and I sat still at the left drive thru. Finally I'm like HELLO the guy says "oh hi have you been helped yet? Well no.. I have never seen a chick fil a that is this slow. It's not one bad day it's every single time. Another 8 min in line today after I ordered. Last trip they left out the cookie and gave me a spicy sandwich instead of regular. It's just sad they don't live up to the chick fil a standard. Do not work here!!!! This location is consistently under staffed, and everyone I've talked to that has applied here has stated that the hiring process is horrible, as well as the management team only giving the employees one week advance notice of their schedules. So if you're scheduled 5 am Monday morning, and the schedule drops at 11 pm Sunday night, you won't know you were supposed to report to shift and they'll write you up. They also have 0 leniency when it comes to time off, and they write you up for calling in! Not even Walmart stoops that low! All in all, the worst chick fil a experience ever. I will not be returning my business to this location until they find a new management team, that treats customers like they're important, and employees like they matter. read more

The epitome of Christian service. Sometimes it gets hard living in Biden's America but this local restaurant gave me hope for the next generation. It's a coincidence but the fine young man who helped me was named Christian. He took my order for me, and I was surprised that when I said thank you (as I commonly do) he responded with "my pleasure." I thought to myself, wow. This was the most respectful and honorable thing I've heard come out of the mouth of a youngin in what feels like many years (because it has been). I want to say thank you to Chicken Filet for having me. I will definitely spread the news that this is a good place to stop at. I hope more people will learn about this restaurant in coming years. I've been going to this location since it opened. I've given them months to work out the kinks. Well, it continues to be slow service and the food is NOT fresh. The order is right only 4/5 times. Check your order and drinks before you leave! DO NOT use curbside unless you have 15-20 min to wait and the order is NEVER RIGHT. If you get breakfast right before it ends-be ready to eat hard rock biscuits and cold chicken. My chicken minis biscuits were so hard and crunchy I know they had been sitting for awhile. Firstly, Ms. Jessie is the highlight of this Chick-fil-A, always providing great customer service, very kind, and always puts a smile on my face. With that being said, this location has left out things from my order that I have paid for so many times I have lost count. Any time I try to call, I can't get in-touch with a manager and am left with part of my order that I paid full price for. I finally drove back this past time to get my paid for item they forgot and was told by a manager that she was sorry and basically that's it. Today, I received my order (a Cobb salad) with wilted lettuce and dark brown thick globs in my salad. After failing to get in touch again by phone with a manager, I took back my order after I had already eaten some of the salad and was refunded but again just pretty much told "sorry we will look into it but we don't know what that was". This is really frustrating to have lost so much money at this location and have eaten a foreign substance that they couldn't explain why it was in my food. read more

Only once did I miss something in the bag but that's why I check my order at the window at every drive thru. Humans make mistakes. Anyway, 5 stars for sure. Of all of the Chick fila's in the area (Conroe, Willis, Tomball, Woodforest, Woodlands) this one is the worst. It is the newest but has been open for several months and performs noticeably worse than all others. Orders are frequently wrong - i mean wrong when the guy/gal with the ipad reads it back, they miss the order 25% of the time !!!! Then, when you get your order it's wrong frequently. Chick Fila is a great company and they do a pretty solid job, given the volume of cars they process. But this chick fila is a joke and it is not getting any better as each month goes by read more

I came inside to order breakfast for myself and my toddler and they forgot about our order. We waited 20 minutes at our table before he got fussy and I went up to ask about it. The cashier didn't apologize at all... our food was sitting on the warmer for 20 minutes. They didn't even offer to remake it... just put it in a bag and gave it to me. Just went through the drive through and tried to order a chicken deluxe sandwich but was given a regular sandwich with cheese. An employee refunded me my money for my sandwich but after drive back to their location. Needless to say won't be returning, the lady who did the refund was not apologetic in fact didn't even speak to me. Not like Chick-fil-A at all, pretty disappointed. I'm not one to write reviews, but they have really earned it. It's been 3 times where my lunch order is messed up. One time I got the wrong fries size, next time I ordered a Cobb salad and got some random salad that I had never seen before. And this last time I ordered a medium lemonade with my salad and when I pulled up to the drive through window, turns out the guy taking the order never even put it in the system. I was able to catch the last one because obviously I never got a drink, but the previous two I noticed when I was back at work so no point of going back. Service is everything, and it should not be the clients responsibility to hold the line back while we check the order to make sure they are not messing up. read more

I am highly disappointed in this chick fil a! I have ordered multiple deliveries from here and never had an issue before. Today I placed my order on the app and about 45 min later I get a notification my order is on the way then a few minutes later a text that says my order has arrived and been delivered. My daughter and I sat in my living room watching for the food and no one showed up. I waited about 15 min just to see if it would show up and nothing! I called and the manager who I spoke with told me that she asked and he said he delivered it. I explained to her no one delivered anything to my house so she said she would ring it back up and send it out. About 15 min later showed up with food and said it so weird that happened I delivered it and left it right here on the porch. I sat and watched out the window and you did not show up and we have a ring cameras on the front of the house and at the door. He then tried to tell me maybe someone who is working on my house stole the food. Really?! Also when my order was finally delivered it was incorrect and I was missing items. read more
