I have been to Culver's stores across the country and this is absolutely the worst one I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. Staff is ridiculous! Line out the door and we cant sem to be able to open a second register. Then a food delivery person arrives and no one can seem to do anything else. I was left standing at the counter (after being in line for over 20 minutes) while the clearly special needs cashier walked around looking for a Door Dash order. The managers? Doing everything outside of managing. The store is dirty and unkempt. Service is slow to non-existant. Took another 20 minutes to get food that was not good. Stay away from this place. I wasn't disappointed, at all! I went because I saw on a food influencers Instagram how good cost value the kids meal is!! OMG!! Nothing could be more true. The restaurant itself is a bit older and my table I chose had a little room for improvement(needed to be wiped down) but not horrible in regard to cleanliness. Then...the burger!! I was very surprised to see a Culver's in Texas, so I had to stop for a sweet treat. The service was incredibly fast and Kristoffer, our server, was very friendly. I ordered the concrete with caramel and brownie mix ins. It was tasty aside from the fact the brownies were stale. The side of fries were crispy and crinkle cut although a bit pricey for the size. Before you judge, this is not just any kids meal. I'm not a burger gal so I go for the tenders. These crispy white meat tenderloins, sizable, and breaded like Cod, are what I would call one hell of an adult chicken finger. The kids meal comes with a complimentary kids scoop custard (the perfect ending to any meal), and the texture, quality and endless custard toppings (not to mention the flavor of the day) make this a real treat. (Plus, they sell pints near the register). They also offer additional treats like concrete mixers, shakes, malts, floats and ices, but if you'd like an additional treat, I'd recommend grabbing a sweet tea. While the custard is the star for most, the hidden gem here is really these chicken tenders and fries. Ofcourse these salty, crispy, piping hot beauties pair beautifully with the cold, creamy, custard. This pb&j level pair is severely underrated. This location also has a drive-thru and outdoor patio as well as private parking lot. So why not 5 stars? Consistency and menu knowledge. My meal and the price of it has varied based on the way it's entered, and it seems to be entered differently each of my visits, so I order the same meal uncertain of the total every time. One thing I liked is you don't have to get fries. I opted for steamed broccoli. Culver has many choices outside of fries. Some you pay extra for, but a few that are an even swap, like steamed broccoli. The meat and bacon used for the burger was quality meat. This isn't typical fast food meat. The texture and taste was similar to a backyard barbeque, homemade meat patty. All ingredients were fresh. The bacon comes from thick cuts and was not overcooked and dry. The custard is similar to ice cream, but with a smoother texture. The flavor of the day was caramel cashew. They did not skimp on the caramel or cashews. The frozen custard is definitely worth my time. Sign up for the email club so you can get deals. Overall, I see myself coming back here. I normally give fast food 3 stars, but having fresh ingredients, higher grade meat and frozen custard deserves a fourth star. read more

My friends and I have been meaning to try this place forever and finally made a trip up to do so. There were many options and it took us awhile to decide. The burgers and sandwiches were what you expect of a typical fast food joint. They were yummy and filling. The cheese curds came out a little cold, but nevertheless still good. This meal was SHIT! Not my first one here. The meat was not hot. The cheese never melted. The onions we wet and slimy. I asked for extra pickles, I got TWO pickles! I guess that WAS extra pickles. The fries were hot but had been cooked in Rancid oil. Could not finish them. The ketchup had lumps in it from the dispenser. Apparently not cleaned this week. Being new to Texas, we stopped into Culvers Burgers to try them out while shopping one day. The first things we noticed was the excellent service we received while ordering our meal. The first time we stopped in we ordered two ButterBurgers with cheese. These were two very delicious burgers. We were impressed with the flavor and freshness of the burgers. The French fries were hot and crisp and equally delicious. The second time we stopped in we tried the regular and Wisconsin Patty melts. We were again impressed by the flavor of the hand pressed patties and again great fries. We also tried the vanilla and chocolate frozen custard. Both absolutely delicious! Rich and creamy. We are definitely going to go back and purchase some pints of this to keep in our freezer for when we have a sweet tooth. On our first visit we met the owner who stopped by to check that everything was okay. Very nice gentleman! This is definitely something we are not used to doing at a "fast food" restaurant or any restaurant for that matter. The few we have met, you can tell that they are run well and really value their customers. Culvers has quickly become a favorite of ours. I have been going to Culver's since 2000 in Round Rock, The Woodlsds and now Conroe.. This has been my favorite fast food burger for the past 25 years. I have always gotten great service and orders are always correct. My complaint is that for my last two visits the burger meat tastes different. They patty's are thinner like a smash burger and have a flavorless mealy texture. Whether this change was intentional or not please go back to the old ways. We stopped here on our way from Arlington to Houston. They had their gift card special (buy $30 gift card and get a free value basket). We were able to redeem the gift card and the free basket on the same visit which was nice.
