People were very nice. The table bussers here work very hard and move fast to turn over tables. Unfortunately the food didn't match up. My Eggs Benedict was quite a mess with only one uncooked egg in between two English muffins. The blueberry pancake came with no butter and blueberries in a watery portion cup. Definitely not ideal. This place is so cute! Yummy too! I was staying in Conroe and Yelped places for breakfast and this popped up. Such a cute old school diner feel. Everyone was so friendly, that's what I love about small town hospitality. I'm front Houston - so Conroe is small to me. ;) Lots of breakfast choices to choose from, however I had to ask about à la carte items because nothing was posted on the menu. They told me, YES they do à la carte. So, I opted for a few à la cart pancakes, and my little had pancake, sausage, and bacon. They put whipped cream on the pancakes for kids, but before the server gave me the food she asked if it was as okay to put whipped cream on. I love it! Of course he can, but I like that they asked. The pancakes were large and delish! And my kid devoured the sausage and bacon. Even if the food hadn't been great - the friendliness of every single person is beyond five stars. And totally random, they have a popcorn machine and offer you popcorn if you have to wait for a table. They even offered popcorn at the table. I thought it was an adorable touch. We were staying at Margaritaville Resort and needed breakfast so we found this cute diner. Customer service was really good however the food was good, not great. I ordered the strawberry chocolate chip waffle that came with eggs, bacon and sausage. The waffle was very basic and soft and my strawberries were sad looking, if that makes any sense. Not the freshest or appealing so I scooted them over to the side. Everything else was good, I would still come back in the future just not order any fruit. read more

This is a diner with a hollywood spin. The diner had cinema carpet and actresses and actors on the wall. The service is very prompt and friendly. I split the Big Breakfast with my sister and it was big alright. Our waitress heard we were splitting and split the whole order in half so we wouldn't have to. The blueberry pancakes were so fluffy and warm. The eggs were well done and the hash was delicious. My sister said the ham tasted rubbery. Overall, great meal! read more

This is an independent diner that makes me think of cafes a few decades ago. The ambiance is 1960's friendly service and home cooking. When we are in Montgomery TX for a gun show, it's a little piece of comfort with consistently well prepared food. Wait staff is helpful and vigilant about coffee refills and service. My family and I were visiting and headed home and stopped by for breakfast. We live a good dinner with home cooked meals. While my family thought the breakfast was ok, the Western omelette was nothing as I thought. It was stacked with mushrooms. If you like a LOT of mushrooms then this is for you. They put a slice of American cheese on the bottom and top that didn't really melt. The grits looked like mash potatoes and they were flavorless, even after putting butter, salt and pepper. The diner wasn't busy and while the server was nice, I didn't feel very welcome. You could tell the regulars were treated very different. This a nice little diner that I have had breakfast there twice. Very hospitable servers made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Food is good and plentiful plus a value for the money. Good coffee just the right strength and flavor for me. Cooking style is like Mamas country cooking! There eggs Benedict wasn't the traditional style but the eggs were cooked perfectly and oh man there breakfast potatoes where awesome crispy and not greasy! We stayed at margaritaville for New Years and wanted some good yummy breakfast. Of course with the help of YELP! I found a yummy diner. It was alittle packed but we waited only about 20 minutes. Service 10/10- Plenty of refill coffees and water. Kept communicating with us! Food 10/10 Breakfast was awesome- we got the works there was 7 of us. Pork chops and eggs 10/10 French toast 10/10 Pancakes 10/10 It's a really good place, i think also if you have a kid you get popcorn i thought that was neat at as well. So glad we found this spot on our day trip to Conroe! Magnolia Diner was a cute diner with solid food and great service. As a starter, your server will ask if you want popcorn (complimentary) for the table. It comes with salt & powdered sugar, and it was surprisingly tasty. I ordered the chocolate strawberry waffle and really liked it! It was super soft with tons of chocolate & whipped cream. I am a huge syrup fan, but it came so sweet that I didn't need to add any. My meal also came with eggs, 2 pieces of bacon (which I ordered extra crispy), and 2 sausages, which were flavorful & delicious. My boyfriend ordered the country fried steak dinner with fried okra and mac & cheese. He felt like the steak itself was about average. The mac & cheese was so creamy! We both enjoyed the fried okra. We also each ordered a coffee, which was average in quality as well. The prices here were great. The waffle with all 3 sides was $10, and the country fried steak dinner was $13. We really enjoyed breakfast at the magnolia diner. It was served hot. The service and the coffee refills were perfectly timed. I had the 2 egg breakfast with meat and a side chocolate chip pancake. The pancake was amazing. The breakfast sausage was delicious and reminded me of breakfast sausage in England. SO GOOD! Next time I would order the bacon crispy but other than that it was great! You find a small diner for breakfast, and the reviews look good. Step inside and you are surprised by the incredible service by your waiter, Heather! She finds out it's your birthday and arranges for a cheesecake and songs for you with the rest of the staff. The food is delicious and prices are incredibly suitable. Quantity is a ton. The coffee sucks, the grapefruit juice is not grapefruit juice....it seems to be some bitter but yet too sweet off-brand grapefruit juice cocktail. Every menu item we asked the server about, and everything we received was frozen and heated. If you like "Sysco" type food, it's in-line. Standard cafeteria menu and food. If you l're looking for actual Home-cooked food from scratch, this is not your place. The service was the best aspect of this restaurant. Very kind and sweet.
