Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with American cheese. Came out to the table without the cheese. An employee looked at the ticket and sticker on the bag and went and asked the manager what to do. Manager said I had to bring the sandwich back up there or give them $0.33 for a slice. So, I chose to eat the sandwich without the cheese and then went up for a refund of my $0.33. We stopped here for lunch on a Thursday while passing through town. We were somewhat surprised that their dining room was not open (it was mid-June of 2021). There were large lines of cars around the store for drive-thru. We parked and entered to order, but then learned that the dining room was closed. We ate in the car in the adjacent Wal-Mart parking lot. This location also seemed to attract some homeless people looking for cash from patrons. I wanted to add that the employees were uniformly helpful and polite, even by regular Chick-Fil-A standards. I'd consider returning here in a post-Covid situation. read more

I eat at this location three times a week, and it is probably one of the most well-managed locations in the state, as far as I am concerned. The staff is what makes this location outstanding. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Eugene keeps the dining room thoroughly clean and makes each guest feel welcome and at home. He takes outstanding care of me and the kids I take care of. Luz, Ebone, and Joshua always give me extremely excellent customer service. They are very knowledgeable of the menu, and they are very patient and kind with me as I work my way through the order. Well, it happened! Let me explain. My children and I were headed back from the beach, and we were starving. The Chick-fil-A app is so easy to order from and there was one on Ann St not too far out of our way so we placed our order via the app. Easier enough. We got in the drive thru line only to be greeter by a young lady that said "just go up there. He'll take your order." And as I was pulling up to the next fella I heard her say "Sh*t!" I looked at my children (teenagers) to see if just not heard her correctly, and both of their mouths were hanging open. I'm pretty good at interpreting teenage facial expressions, it's a gift. Anywho, I DID hear her right. The remainder of the people we dealt with were nice and didn't act like it was an imposition to do the jobs they were being paid to do so that's why I gave three stars, and the food was good as always. First impressions are everything for me. This first impression left a "sh*tty" taste in my mouth so we will drive farther out of the way should be be starving in Montgomery again! Chick-Fil-A has the right formula for a fast food restaurant. Great friendly service that is always consistent. You won't find those unmotivated types working here for long. The food always comes quick and of the same high quality each and every time. If you have a bad experience here, it's gonna be the exception and not the rule. This is a stand alone location (most Chick-Fil-A's in the rest of the country are inside mall food courts). They are starting to expand and that's a good thing. This location does great business and is always busy. But busy doesn't mean you have to wait. Both inside and the drive-thru move quickly. Even during a rush, the eating area is kept clean and tidy. Well I just experienced some of the worst service at a Chick-fil-A. My aunt wanted to just grab a cup of ice and pulled up to the menu and when there wasn't a response she then proceeded to the window after about two minutes of asking was anyone there and waiting in silence. Once we got to the window one of the workers made an indiscriminate gesture that looked like the sign you make when you want music to stop. Everyone in the car asked her what does that mean over and over but she kept making the gesture from a far. Keep in mind she wasn't even at the window. It was like watching a bad silent film or a terrible mime perform. Finally after this weird tango of us watching her gesture with confused faces and asking what does that mean. She shouts with the window closed "We are closed!". Okay I know we should have checked the hours but there is a proper way to handle every situation. Chick-fil-A food is the same regardless of what state you're in... however, the hospitality at this Chick-fil-A definitely sets it apart. The manager, Bud, brought us out free baby food (a little squeeze pouch and parfait), simply because he thought our infant might like it. Brought us fresh wipes when we needed more, extra blueberries when they were a hit with the little one, and so much more. In this day and age, I feel as though customer service is a thing of the past, this experience was so above and beyond even some of the nicest restaurants I've been to. I have had the absolute worse drive thru experience at this Chick-fil-A. Last night for the first time ever they had me pull up and wait. I have never had to do this ever at any one of their establishments - no matter how busy. Then after spending nearly $28 on some salads and strips, waiting in line, waiting in the parking lot for food and driving home, they didn't put a drop of Salad dressing in the bag. I called and Marjorie told me that I could drive all the way back over there and return the salads if I was not happy with them. This location used to be great but now it has gone ghetto and the employees don't really care at all to make something right even though they admitted to me on the phone that they remembered my order and apologized for messing it up. Sometimes an apology isn't enough.Especially when you charge a premium for your product. I asked for a call from the owner but doubt that will happen. What has happened to Chick fil A? 12/10Update.
