Pita Greek offers bowls and salads (with added protein possible for $6-7), pita sandwiches, and big platters that come with two sides and pita bread. We really enjoyed the chicken gyro (tender), spanakopita (generously filled), and the falafel (surprisingly not dry but some people may prefer a crisper texture). For the sides, we enjoyed the chicken lemon soup and beets most. The lentil soup, scallion rice (similar to pilaf), broccoli (large pieces), and fries were ok too, in that order. The bowls and pita sandwiches are $12 base but we were a bit disappointed that the falafel addition to the bowl only came with three smallish pieces. The big platters are probably the way to go if you want shareables, as each separate item can be more than the $20 for the platter. They have a pita sandwich lunch special with a drink too. They also have kids meals and catering. Wish they had moussaka on the regular menu! They display desserts at the counter and they all looked very sweet. I wasn't expecting much in terms of atmosphere but it looked comfortable and clean in the dining area and there was outdoor seating. There's a shared parking lot in the back which is nice for Middletown Road. But otherwise, street parking is possible.

They had everything ready at the exact time I needed. Gentleman behind the counter was professional. Loved the opportunity to order from multiple restaurants. We went with a Marc Murphy salad featuring dill and scallions, a Michael Symon spicy chicken souvlaki bowl, spicy tuna and salmon poke bowl, and a fried chicken sandwich and fries. All that and a couple of cans of soda for a reasonable $60ish. My wife and I shared the three bowls, all were enjoyable with the Michael Symon being a standout for us. That said, the Marc Murphy salad was fresh and the dill and scallions were delicious and the poke bowl featured tons of flavor and fresh fish. The Michael Symon bowl was filling and had a nice kick to it. My daughter enjoyed the Marcus Samuelson fried chicken sandwich and fries. We will certainly return!

I can simultaneously satisfy my conflicting food cravings, try new items/restaurants each time, or easily wrangle an order for a group of people who can't agree on anything. Pad Thai AND buffalo wings? Sure. Tacos and poke? Done. Now, the variety alone wouldn't win me over if the food were mediocre, but the quality is also for the most part very good. Everything from my previous review still stands, so consider this an update featuring more food photos and a highlight reel of some of my favorites so far (I haven't worked through the entire restaurant roster yet but have experienced a representative enough sample). My faves: 1. Wing Trip: consistently excellent wings. Probably the item I order most frequently. 2. Royal Greens: there don't seem to be any fast-casual salad chains in Rockland County, so I get my salad fix here. The greens are fresh and crisp, with plenty or Chef Creation options or you can opt for a custom bowl made according to your liking. The dressings are really good too. 3. Green curry from SriPraPhai: thick, garlicky curry gravy with just the right kick - a perfect "American medium spicy" that won't traumatize the timid. The pad Thai deserves a mention too: they use broad noodles for this, with a springy-chewy texture, and a more fragrant, complex flavor than your standard version. 4. Garlic parmesan mozzarella sticks from Alanza Pizza: a top seller and you can see why. These aren't just any sad, frozen diner mozzarella sticks you've had. My kid went wild for those. 5. Magnolia Bakery's banana pudding with wafer cookie bits: rich, classic and just a little bit extra, kinda like how I plan to age. 6. Chocolate pudding from Tejas Barbeque: unassuming in appearance but dangerously creamy, more mousse than pudding. As someone who's generally indifferent to both sweets and chocolate, I polished this off with relish. 7. Lastly, pork belly from Tejas Barbeque: PLEASE BRING THIS BACK!!! I haven't seen it since the early days so can only assume it's been discontinued. Crackling skin, melt-in-your-mouth tender, shamelessly fatty and decadent. If you're a chicharrón fan, you'll love this deluxe upgrade. Since my last review, Wonder has added some new features that further expand your options: They now function like Seamless/Grubhub/DoorDash in that you can order from other local restaurants too. This can confuse the uninitiated, so if you only want the actual Wonder restaurants (you know, the whole reason you're here), click on the "Wonder Restaurants" button on top, or look for categories labeled "Made at Wonder." They've also partnered with Blue Apron, which is a pleasant surprise. I subscribed to BA's meal kits for a while when I lived in the city, as their offerings were more gourmet and interesting compared to competing meal kit delivery services like HelloFresh (though my absolute favorite was Plated, RIP). Haven't tried it through the Wonder app yet but nice to know it's there for those days you want to cook but don't feel like spending hours on meal planning/prepping. The orders are always super well packaged. Not every dish is a winner, but the hit rate is high enough to keep me coming back, and there's more here to like than not.

First impression walking in, the place is beatifully decorated. It is tasteful and elegant yet inviting and family friendly. My first stop was to the restroom and I gotta say, the place looked spotless which gives you a sense of confidence in the cleanliness of the environment. I also noticed that it is a very large and open space which would be a perfect venue to celebrate any occasion as a big group. When I walked in I noticed that it was a lively and warm ambiace tha makes you feel comfortable to be there. The food: The food was great! Very tasty and fresh. I had the big boy burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was delicious and tho I knew it included jalapeños, I was surprised at how spicy it was. When I looked, it had big pieces of jalapeños w some seeds. No wonder it was too hot, not the jar jalapeños. I took some of it out and enjoyed the whole thing. I didn't finish my fries because they were soggy. No crunch at all. My date on the other hand, ordered a churrasco with yuca fries. The bartender messed up his order and brought him what is called "Portuguesa Churrascaria" which includes grilled skirt steak, pork chop, chicken, and chorizo with moro rice and sweet plantains. Tho it was not what he ordered, he was glad they served him that. It was delicious. It was nicely seasoned, nicely plated and overall very satisfying. Big serving! The yuca fries was dissapointing as I was expecting more of the typical latin crunchy yuca fries where it is first boiled and then fried. This was more like yuca puree, breaded and fried...think mozzarella sticks. Overall this place is worth visiting. Bring your date, bring your friends, bring yo mama, bring your kids, impress your clients...whatever! just visit, you wont regret it. Staff, very friendly and attentive and Plenty of free parking outside!

The Burg Loft hit me with some lofty burgsquirt this time around. So lofty and luscious that I had to return to update my review. I rarely do that, it's so rare that you'd call it raw. Hit em with a claw. Chomping down at the jaw I roar a raw roar of surprise and roar so joyous in nature that it reminds a chicken that it was once a Tyrannosaurus rex. Always remember who you really are under that grease ball facade you keep. The years have served ya well, Burger Loft. This classic was scrumptious. One of the best double smashed I've had. Not overly salty, not overly greasy, not too crisp, not undercooked, super juicy, great taste, perfect amount of cheese and a nice homemade sauce on a solid but undemanding bun. I love an undemanding bun that deserves some funk and crunk out of some quality meat. Woof woooooooooof. Awooooooo. Oh no. The blue moon beckons me. I must wrap this up quickly - You won't like me when the clock strikes midnight. Simple. Traditional. A classic. Burger Loft - A true BILF. A fine wine. It was nice to see you again, babe, and I hope you thought the same. Price to quality ratio is a 5 star... tastiness itself still a Yelp 5 rounded up. I'm proud of you - be proud of yourself. You earned the uptick in stardom. Look forward to our next disco, be prepared to get groovy.

This time I came in with my parents after my wife kept raving about the Dominican chimi and the grilled chicken. We came specifically to try those and, as usual, left completely satisfied. I ordered the chimi and the picadera again, and once more we were blown away. The picadera was stacked with tostones, grilled chicken, fried chicken, fried pork chops, and fried ham. Everything was hot, seasoned well, and cooked exactly the way it should be. The chimi was excellent from the first bite to the last, and the mayo-ketchup tied all the flavors together perfectly. I quickly consulted The Yelp and found this nice sit-down place, so we came on over and enjoyed a restaurant to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon. (I won't lie - "Ixchel Bakery" caught my eye first for the name alone - but I haven't checked that out yet; we were there for lunch, not dessert.) What caught me first is that the logo sign inside is exactly what Yelp events want. I told them about potentially hosting Yelp events in the future... Anyway, the menu is straight Dominican Republic, and I enjoyed comparing the similarities and differences to my local Honduran restaurant. Some very authentic dishes on the menu here, lovingly and authenticly prepared. We started with a pair of empanadas for appetizer, the res and the pollo y queso. I'm an empanada snob but these have a nice balance of ingredients and flavors, good size for the price. While the mondongo intrigued me, I went with the equally intriguing Yaroa, a Dominican street food with meat and cheese on a bed of green plantains (or fries, if you prefer), topped with ketchup and white sauce. I'm not a ketchup person, but I wanted the dish exactly as it comes, and that's good because it tasted excellent as it came. And it arrived right as we finished the empanadas. The staff were very friendly, but a bit focused on kitchen operations; I did have to flag someone down at one point for a water refill. So that is the one imperfection in an otherwise wonderful experience, and not worth docking a star over. I would absolutely come back here again. The owner was talking potential redecoration, I was talking about trying other dishes - so there are convenient excuses moving forward. :)
