Chick-fil-A - Parking lot entrance from Drive thru is only way in - Fast Food Near Me - Roanoke, Virginia

Every time I've been to this location, there's at least one car (most of the time there's several) in the CurbSide parking spots that isn't there for curbside pickup. Thankfully I've still been able to get a spot to pick up my food. And the majority of the time they get the order correct but this past visit they forgot to put the egg, corn and black beans on my salad and didn't give me any dressing either. Sometimes they forget to include a straw, napkins, sauces, etc... This location could definitely improve some considering most other Chick-Fil-A's run a tight ship. read more

One of the best chick fil a's my family and I regularly visit. Food is consistent, as well as service. If there is a goof and they forget a sauce or other item, it's never an issue getting it fixed. The owner, Bob, is incredibly helpful and active in the community as well. He's helped feed local and traveling linemen working out in the field during the major storms who don't usually break for lunch, or dinner, when the storms are really bad and the repairs are extensive. Went in to pick up a to-go catering order before Christmas - many employees inside, not a single person wearing any sort of mask. I was the only person exercising any dort of caution out of concern for others. Strange that they didn't seem to have any concern or awareness of the fact that there is a pandemic. I assume these actions are set individually by different locations as any Chick Fil A near where I live (different city) take all recommended precautions for their customers. I have been to this Chick-fil-A location twice while in Roanoke on business. Both times I have had a good experience. Both times that I have been here it has been busy. Both times were around lunch time. The service was quick and the food was good. I really like that this location has stanchions that actually form a line. All the locations near me don't have this and some times you just don't know where to stand. I like that it seems more organized. read more

I'm not sure where to even begin on this review. The service and attitude we received from several of the employees was down right inexcusable. My family and I placed a mobile order around 8:10 PM on 08/12/2023. We arrived to pick up our order about 15 to 20 minutes later. Upon entering the drive through line to start the process, there were three employees standing around. As we approached the group of employees, they kept walking away from our vehicle as if they did not want to help us. Eventually one of the employees had no choice but to wait on us, as we were stopped behind the car ahead of us. We gave the employee our name and mobile order information. The employee proceeded to repeat the order back to us. We noticed our two orders of macaroni and cheese were not verbally verified (even though it was on our mobile order confirmation). When my spouse started to mention the missing mac & cheese, the employee very abruptly interrupted my spouse saying "No sir, there was not mac & cheese on the order". My spouse started to show the employee the mobile order confirmation and then with little to no regard said "Oh we're out of mac & cheese anyways". At that point we were not offered a substitute or even really a sincere apology for our inconvenience. When we pulled up to the pickup window, my spouse asked the employee if we could please have two bags of potato chips since our almost $10 worth of mac & cheese (one large & one regular size) was not available and we had been charged. The employee seemed irritated at the request and promptly said we had been credited for the mac & cheese and if we wanted a substitute we could place a new order. We were only requesting two bags of potato chips, nothing else. When we asked again the employee said she couldn't possibly give out two bags of potato chips unless we paid for them. At that point, my spouse said he would lodge a formal complaint with the manager. The employee quickly changed her tune and asked what we wanted again(we had asked her twice already). When she was told potato chips she said "Oh, I can do that" Handing us one bag. even though we had two orders of mac & cheese. When that was brought to her attention, she did give us another bag. I am thoroughly disappointed in the experience. I understand products and supplies run low or run out. However a follow up to our mobile order would have been appreciated, as well as a little empathy and customer service care from the employees. I do not think we were unreasonable to ask for two bags of chips to replace our almost $10 worth of mac & cheese that by the way we have not been credited for (even though we were told we had been). Next time we will skip the Bonsack VA location and Patron the Roanoke or Lynchburg locations. We have not received attitude or poor customer relations at those locations. read more

I love CFA and visit the Bonsack, VA store often. Their friendliness and politeness has always been consistent with the CFA brand. Rarely do they get my order wrong and if they do they are very polite and eagerly fix the problem. HOWEVER, I went through the drive-thru in June and ordered several meals all of which had side salads in lieu of fries. When I received my order they only gave me 2 salads instead of 3. When I told the young man he went back to the window and a young girl came up and said "let me see your receipt". She went back to the window and then brought me another salad that barely had any lettuce in it and no cheese. When I told her about it she ROLLED her eyes and grabbed the bag and took it back to get another one. If this was the only time I would say ok. But I have noticed that the friendliness and politeness has disappeared. They stopped saying Thank you, have a great or blessed day, or anything resembling politeness. If this continues, this CFA will no longer get my business. read more

My first visit here for lunch today left me disappointed. My chicken sandwich was lukewarm and the bun was soggy with pieces of the fried chicken breading stuck to it and not the chicken. I think it was sitting around and not freshly made. My frosted coffee was not that great either. Usually they are yummy and I finish it wanting more. Not at this location. This is a Chick Fil A, so high standards are expected. This Chick Fil A falls short. First, nearly all of the employees are under the age of 20. There's nothing wrong with this, except it is kind of age discrimination... And some of the employees definitely do not care. I got a Peppermint milkshake and 8 count chicken nuggets from the drive through here. I was very upset when I opened my chicken nuggets to discover that there were not 8 nuggets; only 6, and two TINY prices of *fried grease* that they had passed off as nuggets. All of the chicken nuggets were small, this was a toddler sized amount. Then, my milkshake had a hole in the bottom of the cup, and the peppermint goo was spilling out all over. I love CFA but this is easily the worst one I've been to. It's extremely slow and inefficient, and they usually get my order wrong.

I got into the line at 10:24 for breakfast and when I started ordering at 10:29 (when the cut off is 10:30) they told me they were not serving breakfast anymore. While in line to leave I then heard another person ask for a breakfast burrito and it was 10:35 at that time. They got their breakfast burrito but I did not get my breakfast. I had just ordered a large sweet tea since they were not giving out breakfast anymore and I got up to the window to get the drink and it was already made but they made me pull forward and wait 5 minutes for a drink that was already made while they were getting food out to 3 other people. read more

good food, but I ordered breakfast on their app before 10:30am which is when they stop serving breakfast and when I got there they had canceled my order therefore leaving me breakfastless. I called the restaurant to see if they had gotten my order and I didn't just mess up and the lady that answered the phone said they got it but canceled it because apparently you have to hit the "i'm here" button before they actually make it which really should be stated in the app. this would never have happened at the salem Chick-fil-A. salem, you guys rock! read more

Food here is great if you like CFA but this by far the slowest Chick Fil A in the area. Would strongly recommend going to a different location in the area. Waited 7 minutes for a number one that Salem gets in 30 seconds and Valley View can get in less than 2 minutes. read more

I have been here several times. Usually visit on Saturday mornings on my way to work. I find the service is slow to poor. They take other cars ahead of you in the drive thru( not rotating windows) several times, forget items in my order and the food is cold. I will go to MacDonald's from now on. I really thought that Chick Fil A was a better run operation than this. When I visit the Valley View location I never have issues. But for some reason, this one just cannot get their act together. read more
