I have been to a lot of chick-fil-a stops around Minnesota, and this one is the slowest I have been to MULTIPLE times now at the drive through. They do not offer an order ahead mobile lane. Strike one. This means everyone has to wait in the lines for someone to take their order and confirm their order, even if you ordered ahead. Second, this tim, during lunch hour, they opted to train a new kiddo on the drive through. This slowed things down in my lane considerably. And where does the manager go when he comes out to help? The other line with the more experienced worker. Great. Last time I was here the manager came out and reminded the order takers to be a little faster, but that really doesn't do much. They were already working their best. Both times I had to pull forward while they completed my order (basic chicken sandwich meal), at least the first time it was piping hot - so must have been waiting on fries. This time it was just warm - so, what was I waiting on?? Have a mind to not visit this location anymore for drive through. I usually make a stop when done at Mayo, but McD's down the way is faster... so might go back to a McChicken. Very sad. I like the other chick-Fil-a location I visit. Drive thru. Great service with a smile, and food is hot and fresh. They gave us the wrong breakfast sandwich order, which was unfortunate, but when I called, they put a free sandwich under our name for a future order. That wouldn't have helped if we were traveling thru the area, so I recommend customers check your order for accuracy, before driving away. read more

Rochester just got a big upgrade with the opening of Chick-fil-A! As a guy from the south, Chick-fil-A was legendary for customer service and the best chicken sandwich money can buy. Well, I can tell you it ain't any different here in Rochester. The opening today was PACKED. Probably 30 folks in front of me when I lined up at 1pm today and maybe 15 when I lined up again this evening (hey, don't judge). Still, we never waited more than 20 mins to get through the registers. The same line at Chiptole next door would have been a 45 minute wait. Please, thank you, and a smile - something you'll not see often in other fast foods. Culver's got some competition now! So the standard bearer, if you've never been, is always the spicy chicken DELUXE. Don't skimp out on the veges man, they're healthy! Make sure you get the waffle fries too! The milkshakes are delicious and rival Steak N Shake but are like 600 calories! Your second trip is going to be chicken strips and chicken nuggets - you gotta experience the juicy deliciousness without all that filler. TRUST ME! It's pretty hectic right now. If you're not a fan of waiting, you might want to wait a week or two. No real complaints today though. Both times they did put way too much ice in the drinks - like 80% of the cup was ice! I was thrilled to see a this CFA going up in Rochester. I'm not usually into chains but since the local places here are mostly lame, it's always a plus to get more variety. I've been to CFA in the south, but have not been to one for a while. I love the service. Customer service is a dying art and I'm sad to see it losing its importance. I will support good customer service with my dollars and I will avoid places based on bad service. CFA tends to employ a lot of young people, which I hope will influence the perpetuation of politeness and general southern hospitality. I like the food. It's always fresh and hot and tasty. I appreciate their efforts to not use unnecessary and harmful ingredients like HFCS and artificial additives in some items. Their lemonade, for example, is simply lemon juice, water, and sugar. I do wish they would go the way of Panera Bread though and eliminate all of the bad stuff, especially MSG, which they use in the breaded chicken. So I'm always down to get frosty delicious beverages from CFA. I love the iced coffee and frosted coffee as well as the shakes (although they do come with a HFCS and red 5 soaked cherry). I have to read the ingredients list when ordering food items and that's a bummer but at least they make that info readily available on the app or website. read more

Well........... I ordered my food at 10:30 exactly in the drive through and it's now 10:45 and I'm just past the ordering station. Not sure what is going on but 15 minutes in a fast food line AFTER I ordered is a bit ridiculous. I live NW and probably won't make the trip back to the south side for this. I know it's a new place but wow! Update! Got my food at 10:57 AM. I got up to the front and asked what was going on and the kid at the front started talking gibberish saying that the lady who is first taking orders screwed up on the first-order and caused a big 20 minute delay. He then proceeded to tell me that it wasn't his fault multiple times which I never accused him of. When he asked his manager to give out a card to me for waiting so long the manager said no we don't have enough. This store is still relatively new to Rochester & I was hoping it would have slowed down some more, but it seem like its going to be busy for awhile. When I pulled into the drive thru I would say their were about 10 cars ahead of us, and i made sure to keep track of the time to gauge the value based on wait alone.. The wait was 13 mins from start to finish and i was impressed that they got through everyone as efficiently as they did. As for the food i had no clue what to order and ask the drive thru attendant for her suggestions, which she promptly had a list of the popular items and I tools her suggetions. The customer service was great and the food was great too. Prices seemed on the higher side and portions on the smaller than what i was expecting. But that being said base the overall taste/experience i'd still be happy to return. read more

For the first time EVER, I did not have a pleasant experience At Chic-Fil-A. First, I asked for lemonade and it wasn't available yet because they were still squeezing it. It was 8:45am. So I settled for oj. I was highly disappointed as I love their lemonade, but I figured, that's ok. Not worth writing a bad review over. I opened my sausage biscuit and found it to be not the soft fluffy biscuit I'm used to, but slightly overcooked and darkish brown on top. Again, no big deal, I'm a big boy, I've eaten bad biscuits before. But then, my sister who ordered chicken mini's mentioned her bread was hard, and my son said his was too! At that point, I felt compelled to share my experiences. Probably just a rough Monday morning for the crew. The store was average but they where trying to hard to impress us by delivering our food and say our names. I didn't like having to get back up and wait in a busy line for a refill. A very much needed Rochester establishment! Honestly, it's a standard Chick-fil-A with saccharine service. The restaurant is certainly busy and crowded at times, however the employees are friendly and do their best to manage regardless. They also have people taking orders at the drive-thru in lieu of the actual speaker system to speed up the ordering process, so what looks to be a long wait is never too bad. I recommend the spicy chicken sandwich meal with the fries and sandwich well-done. The grilled chicken nuggets are surprisingly good, and I love that there's an option with diet lemonade. read more

This place is the best for fast- food. I like that it's not super oily, rubbery, or gross. The food is fresh and warm everyday. It's good that they are nice to their chickens. I really think that's wonderful! The strawberry milkshake is sweet and just a little milky. I haven't had the other ones, but i'm sure they're great too. I only had the chicken once, but i already know there's no chicken better. The breading on the outside is perfect! The people in the drive through are always polite and smile, even if they don't ask you about your day. (Which they usually do.) The amount of sauces you get is awesome. Outstanding customer service, quality of food, quality of employees is very wonderful. Worth the 8 min drive thru time they were also very proactive getting our orders before we got to the machine.
