Chic-Fil-e Bad Customer Service! Arrived on April 11, 2026 at 12:10 pm. Gave my order to a young Man who never greeted me and acted like he didn't really want to be there. Attitude! OK! My receipt noted that the Cashier was "Jacob". But that was not the name on the name-tag of the actual Cashier. The Cashier asked for my name and I said my name (Felipe) spelled my name and then repeated my name again. When my order was complete a person who appeared to be a Supervisor came towards me and shouted "Order for "Freddie" ! I didn't answer, I am not Freddie! He continued walking my way and said "Freddie" 2 more times. He described the order but he said it so fast I couldn't understand what he said. Finally, when he got close he repeated the order again. I said that is my order but my name is not "Freddie"! This particular Chic- fil-e has had mediocre service has never gotten our order wrong. The misspelling of the name shows to attention to detail plus an uncaring attitude towards the Customer! We frequent Chic Fil e from Dan Antonio to Corpus Christi to Portland Texas. PS: I ordered a #1 Meal and 2 Chicken strips. I got the meal but got Chicken Nuggets instead. Didn't discover this until I got home. My qualifications as an Expert and Experienced Food and Service Critic; I have over 65 years of Management Experience. I went from picking Cotten, Fruits and Vegetables in many parts of the country, as a Migrant Worker to earning a College Degree with a BS in Business Management. Plus Serving my Country in the Air Force for over 22 years. As a Civilian I have been trained in two Culinary Schools, to include on the job training at other venues. I've successfully managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have had my own successful Catering business. I have traveled to many places in this world and tasted the many culinary delicacies this world has to offer! A "HORRIBLE" food experience at this location. I've never known any "Chick-fil-A's" from California, Arizona, and Las Vegas that have ever not live up to the reputation of great food! This is a first and a surprise to find this location in San Antonio was at the bottom of customer service, mistakes in the order, and food tasting horrible. This one needs a makeover quick, either they don't really care about satisfying their customer base or they just don't know. Very disappointed and WILL NOT return, big F for failure....do better! This chick fil a is typically quick with their orders but I would not dare say they are standard when it comes to service. Sometimes people are distracted or dismissive/rushing or it's taken almost 20 minutes for some chicken tenders -- lately they've been really small too lol. There is no point in using the app to order when it still takes over 20 minutes to get your order once you arrive, might as well just go through the drive-thru. So I waited 20 minutes for a 3 piece meal with small, crusty strips that cost $7.99. I didn't receive a drink for one of the other meals I ordered. Also, a large order of fries was half full, basically same as a medium order. I'm done with this place for awhile. With meals averaging about $8-$10, it's definitely not cheap, so I expect better. Done with this location! Every time we always have an issue, and today is the last time. Missing a drink, last time missing a sandwich. And they always do this... if you eat inside everything is perfect, no issues ever. Fry box is always full, but when you get fries from the drive thru or curbside you have to order a large size so that you can get a medium size amount. I promise I didn't eat any. Ordered food for delivery from this particular Chick-fil-A, I should have check Yelp first, since their rating says it all. My regular chick-fil-a on Babcock never let me go unsatisfied, that's why they have a high rating from yelpers like me. No wonder this one at Potranco rates low among yelpers. I ordered a combo of grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, pickle and tomato on the side and extra crispy fries. It's clearly specified on my order and it's even printed all over the labels on the bag and sandwich box and all. What I got?!!! No tomato, pickle and lettuce at all, looks like they didn't even try to crisp the fries extra at all. I was just starving, don't want to waste my time contacting them by a phone call. But I promptly replied back via text on the number they have for their updates. I'm giving this a star, it should have been zero star, but there's no option for that. After finally getting my order taken, I asked to speak to a manager: the person identifies themselves as such and I complained and they DID give me the order gratis which was just a 4 ct chicken strips.. however the strips I must say we're terrible! They were "lunch-room" texture, soggy and lukewarm and not sure if they were leftovers as this was in the evening getting close to closing time. I got a disingenuous (veiled contempt?) response from the "manager". All three of our sons worked at Chic Fil A in another state (CO)...totally different experiences and attitudes there! Within the past month, there has been offers including free delivery, free sandwich with purchase, free morning biscuit with purchase, and free cookies. The food here is made to order and I haven't gotten an incorrect order from them. The fries can sometimes not be the freshest, but they haven't missed a "no salt" on fries request to date (even when there's one fries with salt and one without in the same order). Nuggets are usually decent-sized pieces of chicken, but there have been a few times when the pieces were on the smaller side and not worth the price. Sandwiches always have fresh lettuce and tomato, and the chicken is juicy and cooked perfectly. The chocolate chip cookies are not your typical ones, as they also have oats (I think?) in them, which give the cookies a good chewy texture and keep them moist. This location has been a mess for the longest time. The employees are not the kindest and do not hold up to the standard that your accustom to here. Yesterday I was in the drive thru and the line was ridiculous, like more ridiculous than usual. The was an accident in drive thru, drive thru employees don't look very happy to be there. Tried the new cheese sauce, what a joke! Watered down American cheese is what it taste like, yuk! And I paid $1.50 for about 1 oz of the cheese sauce, I'm not even joking. It was such a small amount. Tables inside are always dirty and trash compactor overflowing. Placed a curbside order at 740 for pickup asap. I got to the restaurant and have been waiting an extra half hour for my food with no status change. At this point it would've been faster for me just to go through the drive thru. I have my 4 year old with an ear infection and this was supposed to be a quick pick up but instead waited an additional half hour. I called the restaurant and Mgr.
