Shake.. actually quite delicious and very filling food
    Christina S.

The drink was good. I wish I watched them make it. I ordered pancakes. They said they only had one option available ( and the menu has many options... so right off the bat that's weird ) it was basically plan stack with one strawberry on top. They were slightly burnt and crispy on one side, and the extremely dry. I take it that's just cuz they r simply not regular pancakes. I mean they were not disgusting... but they were not good by any means. Service was ok. I couldn't tell if they were being rude or just... existing. They offered the people next to me syrup. I had just assumed I was supposed to eat these things dryer than shit. Eventually it to syrup which helped me stomach half the meal down. ... def needed butter or something on top. Needless to say I won't be back to eat... but I might indulge in a shake... maybe... it's expensive Place has like an open white clear and inviting vibe and def a call to the athletes at the near by gyms. Everyone looks like they came in from the gym so I liked that. So yea... not bad... not very good. 3/5

Southwest, burger plates. Bowl is missing ingredients i expected.

Unhappy.,Bad 1st impression. Incorrectly made, Missing ingredients. Don't think I'll return. I ordered a Southwest When delivered the bowl had the steak and bean salsa with cauliflower but I did not get anything else pictured. Missing was Cheddar, Avocado, Onions, Tomatoes, Red Peppers... Do I have to ask for that? If pictured, I expect it. If I don't want it, it's on the customer to say exclude. Not the only thing wrong either. Wife and daughter got burger meals. The serving size of fries on both dishes was less than a handful for each. Boo. Lastly, it took a long time to deliver. We dined in, And waited 14 minutes. Seemed kinda long for an unbusy restaurant. Overall, unhappy. Not a 1 star because area was clean, and staff was friendly, ingredients were fresh and tasty but I don't feel we got what we paid for. Also dislike $8-10 drinks. Not a fan.

We had been wanting to try Protein House for sometime, and we decided to check it out one day after grabbing groceries. We ordered two entrees and a drink. We got Southbeach pancakes and a breakfast sandwich with fruit. I am all for small portions but what we paid was I'm my opinion too much for what we received. The fruit in the fruit cup seemed like it had been sitting for a while. Didn't seem very fresh. Sandwich was ok, got the eggs scrambled with turkey bacon. The green monster drink was ok but nothing I would order again. Pancakes were very dry and topped with one strawberry and served with some kind of healthier alternative syrup. Maybe we will go back and try a smoothie or something but first impression wasn't that great. It was very clean when we dined in, we were the only people in the place.

Smoothie. I had the Ms. Skinny and it was so good!

Yes options! I'm thankful to have an additional choice that offers healthy and delicious food. You get what you pay for as well! It is worth every penny. Food was fresh and delicious. It came out pretty quick. Staff is friendly. There are enough seats where you can sit inside. The inside was clean and tidy. Delicious!

Best shake of our life's. I had the açaí shake and my daughter had the chocolate PJ crush shake. Amazing!

An EXCELLENT addition to Alamo Ranch!!! Clean food, macros on the menu, HF options, breakfast all day, create your own bowl, protein shakes. This is a new GO TO!!!

    Rice..?

This is the turmeric "rice" I received in my general bowl ... it smells worse than it looks, and yeah, I even tasted it and I sincerely wish I hadn't. The audacity it takes to serve this inedible mush as rice is almost impressive. We should all strive to be this delusional.

Look nothing will ever be as good as that greasy fast food but this is healthy and it's very good!! Makes me feel like I'm making the right choices I ha: a lettuce wrapped burger with sweet potatoes and a side of protein pancakes. Man was it all so tasty. Small little spot that needs more around the city! The workers were super nice and helpful. I will be back (over and over)

    Mediterranean bowl

The food itself was good. I didn't know what to expect but it was spot on with taste. A little on the pricier side

    Don't spend $35 dollars

They have some really fun food options, we tried a goat cheese PB & j burger and it was super good, but I believe they change up their menu every so often, another hit was the Macaroni, and the jalapeno bacon jammin' burger and the fried pickles if you love fried pickles like we do then you won't be disappointed ordering them here! We tried some of their brews they had on tap and they were good! (I'm not a beer drinker but I brought two beer lovers with me to try!) They also have a large selection of other beer favorites for you to choose from! Also, we loved how friendly and kind the staff were with our kids! Friendly staff is always a bonus! Overall we enjoyed our time and will be back to try more of their beer & food! Tip: they have a kids menu but you have to ask them for it as it's not on their menu which is digital.

The wings were meh--just ok. Our server was super nice and friendly. She recommended a couple beers for us to try and we ended up ordering a second round. Very pleased with the service. They have several TVs so it was nice to watch the games playing. It wasn't too loud. I like the atmosphere. A mix of high top tables, standard tables and bar seating. I think next time we'll try something different on the menu.

The bear aesthetic is so much fun!…read more My fiancé and I went to Black Bear Diner for a late night dinner about an hour and a half before closing. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken shortly after. Other than ourselves and one other couple in the midst of their meal, the place was empty with one messy table evidence someone else had just left. One staff member came out to bus said table and sweep the dining area while we waited, and the kitchen was bustling loudly while they prepared our order for what felt like a rather long time for a single order. If nothing else, it gave us ample time to check out the dessert and beverage menu. Side note, the menu printed on the inside of their Black Bear Diner 'Newspapers' was pretty cute. Our drinks came out well in advance, and the Hot Chocolate I ordered was pretty yummy. It was sweet and rich, and the thick whipped cream on top was just as tasty. When our order finally came out, it felt worth the wait. My Classic Eggs Benedict was simply amazing and massive in portion. The poached eggs and ham were cooked just right and topped two thick English muffin halves, and the abundant Hollandaise sauce had an excellent zesty kick to it. There was so much of it that I had enough to dip my Sweet Potato Fries in and have even more left over! My fiancé's omelette was pretty good as well, but we both agreed the Eggs Benedict was the better of the two. It didn't help that his Hash Browns were severely overcooked and not worth attempting to eat. I think we'd both like to return but at an earlier hour. Hopefully then our meal will come out faster and without anything burned. Still, it was a delicious enough experience to the extent that we're eager to try more from their menu.

Then she was going to lead us to the tables in the middle of the room but I asked her for a more intimate booth. She said the booth needed to be cleaned so we walked to the front to be out of the way. A guy in a purple shirt walked over to the girl and I could tell he was trying to be discreet but I could hear her say that we wanted a more private table. So we went and sat on the bench in front. After that, we were called. No one came to our table. Then some more people came in, they sat them behind us and after seating them, a server came up to ask what they would like to drink. My husband and I looked at each other and decided to leave. Just then an apologetic young man rushed up to the table but it was too late. We were not going to spend our money there. It's unfortunate.

From the moment we stepped into 6 Klicks Cafe, the vibe was immediate--warm, welcoming, and real. Not forced, not corporate. Just genuine energy. The kind of place where you already know you're about to eat good before you even see the menu. The Food I ordered the grilled chicken marsala, and they didn't just throw it on a plate--they presented it. Everything looked intentional. * Chicken cooked perfectly * Sauce was on point * Mashed potatoes? Had me wanting the recipe after one bite * Green beans with sausage and onion--straight comfort food I also tried the chicken tenders, fries, and Texas toast--everything was done right. Crispy where it needed to be, flavorful across the board. Portion size? Let's be real, it felt like they made the plate for two people. ________________________________________ ‍ Service Service was top-tier. * Greeted immediately * Server knew the menu and helped us decide * Drinks came fast (shoutout to that blackberry tea ) * Food came out in under 10 minutes No waiting, no confusion, no "let me check on that" energy. Just smooth. ________________________________________ Atmosphere This place has identity. It's not trying to be trendy--it's authentic. You can feel the story behind it. Veteran-owned, patriotic, and built with intention. It's the kind of spot where you could sit, eat, and talk for hours without feeling rushed. Family vibe all day. ________________________________________ Price vs Value Not the cheapest--but worth it. When the portions are big, the food is made right, and the experience is solid... the price makes sense. ________________________________________ Final Verdict 10/10 (with no real complaints) This isn't just somewhere you eat. To my surprise, the restaurant already had groups of people watching a football game or waiting for a game to start. So the ambience was already lively pretty early in the day. I read a comment here that Bombshells can get loud, and I can attest that once the game started, the volume of all the TVs increased significantly. We started with a sampler and decided on wings for our entrées. The chicken cutlet (or tender) included in the sampler was absolutely delicious, especially when paired with the plain buffalo sauce. It was so good that it made me change my mind about ordering a burger--I opted for wings instead. I went with the boneless wings and decided to try something spicier since I had already sampled the regular buffalo sauce. I can't recall if I chose the Nuclear or Atomic flavor, but unfortunately, they were just okay. While they were definitely spicy, they lacked the flavor I was hoping for -- a bit disappointing compared to how great the regular buffalo sauce tender was. As far as our service went, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was ok throughout our visit. She checked to make sure the food was ok and periodically checked to see if we needed any refills on our drinks. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, with one of the only downsides being the wings - which could use a little more flavor to match the spice.

As a white male who was raised the typical southern redneck ways, it seems out of my wheelhouse, it's not. I wish i could give it 5 stars but i just had to dock 1 star for few things. Not to say i won't go back, im just very strict on my ratings. But they can always be changed for next trip. Let's start with food. The omelette was lackluster, very pretty and proper. Yet, i had to pour seasoning on a few times. Still couldn't eat bit 1/4 before throwing in the towel. Literally. I had high expectations knowing what i know about the seasonings black folk put on their food (like i do when i cook too, learned from them) lol I added the sausage just in case the veggie omelette wouldn't have enough flavor kick, but to be honest the sausage was also under seasoned and lackluster. The potato's were EXACTLY what i had expected when i read it was black restaurant. That's the kinda thing i was looking forward too. Strong seasoned!! It was great. Almost like jerk flavored taters I've never been a grits eater, we were raised on meat and taters and eggs for breakfast. Never grits and I'm from the south. I've tried them at several places going to like them but never have, till now, it's still not something i would order, but they tasted pretty amazing. And love the way it was plated and presented. I didn't however like that they poured the grits like they did but all over my toast. I'm picky about foods touching cause I'm a weirdo... but grits and bread just don't match. At all. ALL THIS BEING SAID, BUT I COULDNT TRY THIER BEST DISHES. I cut sugar from my diet 6 months ago and can't bring myself to do it anymore. Even though 99% of their menu has sugar filled items. They all looked so amazing. I seen the other tables get their orders and all i could do was drool. If they ever figure out a way to make some of the bad azz breakfast desert dishes but sugar free, they would have a 4 hour wait daily and reservations only on weekends. In today's times everyone trying to eat much more healthy. Maha!!! How about a sugar free chicken and waffles. Maybe a chicken and waffles but sugar free syrup or honey, idk. I loved the pics on the walls and the suede seats!! And the gold plated spoons forks and knives. Staff was super friendly. There was zero prejudice eyes on me. I felt right at home like everyone else there. That made a big impression as that's not what happened to me when i went to a similar place in Houston. I felt like i was not suppose to be there. Needless to say, I'm going back next week and might even have my very first cheat day in 6 months and have some sugar foods. Gave 4 stars at the beginning, but now after I wrote the whole review. I realized they deserve the five star so I'm changing it right now after next meal there I'll make a decision take that star back or leave it.
