The Authentic Beef Shawarma Wrap 11"
    Ivan J.

This was our choice after debate for our tv date night. Everything, I mean everything was delicious! It showed up warm, which is always a plus! The misses never had shawarma, and she loved it! It was all perfectly cooked and spiced! I'm Rating the food only. It's a 5. Even through door dash it was affordable for us. We had the shawarma melt, beef shawarma, tex-mex chicken press, and the Mediterranean side Salad. The only gripe I have is the prices for extra sauces and the size of the melt was small. But that's it. The fries that came with one of our meals were also good! I'm not going through go through every dish, it was all excellent. I will add this. We got the small tatziki, and this was the best TATZIKI we have ever had. It was different. It was "stringy". Not the way we have usually have it. I can see some being thrown off with the texture, but give it a shot! Trust me. Better yet our hack is to mix chili sauce in our tatziki! We do it everywhere! Great place highly recommend, especially if you have family or friends that want to try different foods, this is delicious and not too far off or crazy for them to dip their toes into other cultures!

FIRST TIME VISIT! This location is inside the Walmart on Potranco. Welp, I'll give them credit where it is due... the service was very nice. I walked up and was perusing the menu as a worker approached me from behind the counter. I let him know it was my first visit so he walked me through the menu items and process of choosing an entree with protein and side. He was so informative! Contrary to food items on display on both the posters on the walls and all over the paper tray liner, the menu was very limited. In addition, the food is not fresh or tasty. I am obsessed with garlic sauce and theirs tastes simply as garlic flavored mayonnaise. The meat was dried out and rice was flavorless. I also became quite ill after eating here. Bummer because I LOVE Mediterranean cuisine and I LOVE giving great reviews, but I simply could not today. I would love to see this place improve.

This place is terrible. I should have known when I called up there no one answered the phone. But I took a chance and ordered two shawarma (one chicken and one beef) and fries and a kids quesadilla with fries and a lemonade. It really tasted old and very nasty. Do better for your customers. Do better for your community. Do better for yourselves!!!!

This was my first time here and the young man at the counter was very helpful. My mom had the Tex-Mex wrap, it was flavorful and the veggies crispy just the was she liked it. I ordered the Tandoori press which was just the right amount of spicy! The fries were delicious too! Over all this was a great first experience and I will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

But that…read morechicken salad BLT sandwich has stayed in my mind making me drool at night, sometimes after they're closed. So today I decided it was time to revisit. It's a little hard for me to eat inside restaurants anymore so I do mostly takeout, especially take out brought to my car. Just less pain for me. But OH this is worth the discomfort. Not that it's hard for handicapped. Parking is close to the building and handicap parking is close. It's easy to push open the door and plenty of room to walk or wheel through. I happened to stumble upon customer appreciation day, so was instantly greeted and handed a cup of Carol's chicken salad to take home. Wonderful surprise. Now I have to talk about the staff here. Always so friendly and helpful. And they don't just stand behind the counter. They come out and help. There are a number, a lot of varieties of fillings to choose from. They offer samples of any you wish to try. So you see it could take a while but it really doesn't. What with my pain and some new varieties since my last visit I was a little scatter brained. But they treated me like a loved friend or family member not annoyed at all. She even noticed my military ID when I got my credit card out and gave me that discount automatically. I also sat where I could see them react with the take out and pick up customers. Again smiling, friendly, helpful...helped to carry out or check the order. Could not have been nicer. Had them sit if not ready and brought to the table. So really above 5 star on that! Now the food. Not quite five star...but maybe that's me. Maybe I ordered wrong. It's been a while and I'm really nitpicking here. The bread on my sandwich seemed to be grilled, not toasted. Only one side of the bread was toasted and it was both very thin bread but also very limp and floppy. Maybe toasted on the menu meant grilled? The other tiny thing and again really nitpicking is my bacon. It was not warm...so it didn't have the best flavor profile it could bring to the sandwich. Now was this a bad sandwich? Not at all, it was a great sandwich which I gobbled and enjoyed. But those two touches have pushed this sandwich to even more stars before. Again I'm nitpicking this sandwich. The soup was great. I was getting another flavor and the photo made me change. It was fantastic ditto the grape salad, cookie, great pickle. Highly recommend...

Never did I expect to find a whole restaurant dedicated to chicken salads, but it actually makes for a very satisfying lunch spot. They have daily specials and on Friday we were excited for their tomato bisque. I tried their pimento cheese chicken salad, and sorta regretted it because it was very sweet when sandwiched in a croissant as my bread. My partner picked their new Jill pickle chicken salad on wheat and as a BLT, it was a much more savory option. We split and swapped our sandwiches which made for a good balance. I also tried their broccoli salad as my side and liked it. It had a light mayo dressing and a bit of cheese and bacon. Their tea options were also good and I drank their peach ice tea. Next time I want to try their buffalo chicken salad or maybe take home one of their to-go portions as an easy meal for the week. I support this restaurant concept! It's so smart that it's next to a healthy grocery store like Sprouts. The food came out super quick too!

Our salad, appetizer, and entrees were all brought out at the same time, which made the meal feel rushed and unorganized rather than paced properly. The bigger concern came after we got home. The leftover salad we brought with us contained what appeared to be a half-eaten pepper inside the container. This raised serious concerns about food freshness and handling, as it looked like the salad may not have been properly prepared or was possibly reused. Overall, this experience left us uncomfortable and questioning the restaurant's quality control. We hope this is addressed so future customers don't have the same experience.

Most people are paying quickly and trusting the machine, so this setup absolutely feels designed to push customers into over-tipping without realizing it. Tipping should be based on the final amount owed, not an inflated pre-discount number. Management really needs to fix this because it leaves customers feeling misled at the very end of their meal.

First and foremost, I just want to admit that I am embarrassed that I even brought friends to this…read morerestaurant for the first time after the experience that we had tonight. I rarely give a one star let alone less than three star reviews to any restaurants unless it's an absolute catastrophe and low and behold, if I could give less than one star I would do so. I don't even know where to begin so I'll try to start from the beginning we get sat down. We get our drinks and normally they would turn on the grill to preheat it so that it's ready to cook the food that did not happen. We ordered our first round of meats to be cooked. It took roughly 10 minutes for those to come out and our server nonchalantly decided to just remark with oh they haven't brought your food yet. Let me go look into that. See what they're doing in the back. This was the start of excuse. After excuse from our server we will call him T the entire evening. After that, additional 10 minutes we had to ask for a girl to get turned on to which it never properly got heated so our food did not cook initially when we asked about the vegetables that come to the table with every single Korean barbecue or Japanese barbecue place you ever go to the response was not. I'm sorry I forgot it was. I don't know why they're changing the menu, but it's not on there anymore to which t proceeded to just hand us his iPad and let us select what we wanted instead of going over the options with us We then had to ask for scissors, which is also customary at this type of restaurant to cut your Cooks food. His response to that was oh let me go. Check with the dishwashers are done, washing them another excuse with no apology for his mistake once those came brought by another person, we were able to finally be in eating our food. We also had to ask for the spray oil to prevent the grills from sticking when we asked if the temperature on the grill could be turned up because it wasn't heating properly. He had no response for us. It took another lady to come up and offer us a different type of grill, which ultimately was a better choice because we were able to cook our When we asked about other options on the menu, he suggested a pork dish that he called, savory and sweet once the meat came, we noticed a very strong spicy smell to the meat and a deep red color which always indicates spice. He then proclaimed that he has never tried it here, and unless the chefs were doing something crazy in the back because they like to play with recipes, he wasn't sure if it was actually spicy or not not only is that just poor service but it's ultimately a dangerous proposition because if somebody happened to have a sensitivity to spicy food that could've been extremely bad outcome All of the food tonight was extremely bland. Everything tasted the same from the filet mignon to the scallops to the steaks and everything in between except for that spicy pork everything tasted exactly the same bland and quite frankly rather disgusting. When it came time for the Bill both parties notice that there was an up charge on drinks that we were not told about and additional beverages were ordered and charged before on our bill that we decided it was not even worth arguing about I personally have been to this restaurant three different times, and if you look at my previous reviews, I even gave them a five star rating that is not the case anymore. The quality has diminished. The food itself has gotten worse. The service was appalling and I will never come back to this restaurant again if you're looking for a good Japanese barbecue place look elsewhere than Jpot if anything they should change their name to F pot because that's the grade that they deserve a big fat F. Avoid it all cost do yourself a favor save yourself the money and go eat elsewhere. There are other restaurants like Chili's P Terry's and even Costco in the same parking lot that you'll get better food from if you need to feed your family. It's quite sad because this was a gym in the area and now it is a piece of crap spray painted gold Never again j pot never again The only the only positives would be the ambience as it is a fun environment. It is easy to hang out and have a good time although our table seem to be the only one that had a burnt out light so we had to use our flashlights to properly see if our food was being cooked all the way through honestly, the only thing that was worth a five star review was our sodas because those are made outside of this establishment and you can't F those up
