Had a Gyro Platter as well and it was a bonkers amount of food! Daughter had a Small Plate Gyro Slider (not a small plate) which was well worth the money! The stars of the show were the Baklava Cheesecake and the Chicken Fingers. Both amazing and, currently in my experience, the best chicken fingers in the local area! I've been here a few times now, the woman(Berenice) who took my order the first time I went messed it up, I figured it was just a mistake since they do happen and figured I'd try again another day. The second and third time Ive come she took my orders and they all got messed up again, when I told her she processed to go and put the blame for the messed up orders on a younger girl who had nothing to do with it. I don't agree at all with the reviewer who called this place a joke in the wall. It is an independent building, clean inside and welcoming. I've been coming here at least once a month for two years. Before, during and now after the shutdown. The food has always been fresh and delicious. My fav is the Greek Salad with Gyro, but I have to say the chicken fingers are also moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside and hard to resist. Showmars always has the homey, good place feel. So today I want to show my appreciation for their fish sandwich! Good size, tasty fish. I add their yummy coleslaw & it's a dinner winner! However, this deviousness also costs over $9, when you add a drink. Not too pleased with that. The restaurant - inside & out - always is clean. Employees are friendly & efficient, getting your order. Plenty of parking. They do offer call ahead order, where you use the side of the restaurant to pick up your order. Prices are somewhat reasonable & they have plenty of menu choices. read more

The service is great! Friendly, smiling faces are always a plus when dining out. I've tried Showmars once before and I couldn't recall if it was good or not, so we decided to try it again. It was not good! Hence the reason I didn't recall it. I had the fried flounder which was basic frozen fish with uncooked fries and uncooked hush puppies. I had an avocado chicken salad and my husband had a bacon burger with fries and the crinkle cut were so good. My salad had fresh lettuce and a corn and blackbean mix with cucumber and tomato that was very fresh. The scoop of avocado aas very generous and had plenty to use. The salad was a very generous size too. I didn't finish it all. The side of pita breads were really good we even bought a pack to go. My husband's burger was great also, the bacon was crunchy and husband approved. It was a little pricey but you get what you pay for and we liked it very much. I bought a grilled chicken Greek salad around 7pm for lunch at work the next day. I went to eat the salad around 11 and was very surprised to see what I found. The lettuce was disgusting. It was old and brown. Many of the edges were even black. It went straight to the trash. Very disappointing since it wasn't a cheap salad. The salad should have never looked like this especially since I had it for less then 24 hours. Stopped at this new (about 6 months old) Showmars because we know we can get a good meal with attentive service that is priced right at any Showmars we stop at, and this one did'nt disapoint. I did'nt get her name but the girl that brought our food,was really friendly and kept checking on us contantly to see if we needed refills or anything else. My gourmet burger was very good as usual and my wife got the grilled chicken pita with lettuce, tomato, peppers and tzatziki sauce which she said was yummy. We love us some Showmars because we know we can stop in for a sit down meal at almost fast food prices and get friendly, attentive servce as well. read more

This is one of our "go to" places for a quick, tasty meal. I love their Greek salad - and their popcorn shrimp are light and delicious. My husband loves their beef tips and their fried fish platter. I am sure other menu items are equally good, but these are so good I find I request team every time we go. We also pick up meals from here through their convenient take out window when we are running late and they are about to close. Service is generally excellent with wait staff checking in with you regularly to fill your drinks. read more

We've been a fan of this restaurant since they moved to this location. We eat there usually a couple of times a month, including hosting some family get-togethers there. The food was always good, service quick and a good value for the price. But recently we've seen a decline in the quality of the food. The fries have come out room temperature at best, and today I ordered a fish sandwich on pita and the pita bread was so hard and tough I could not eat it. Usually a bustling place for lunch on Sundays, today over half of the restaurant was empty -- maybe a sign others are seeing a decline as well. Update: Although the food is still good here, I've had to take this out the rotation of my normal lunch stops, as they have NEVER fixed the WIFI, even after I've asked several folks that worked there to mention it to a manager. They've also got rid of some of their better lunch specials, which has made lunch there more expensive. I hate to drop a star on it, but they've left me no choice. :( read more
