I have never and I mean never had a bad customer service experience with Chick-fil-A until today. Annie the Assistant Director was extremely rude. I waited for a while for my food as I did a mobile order. It stated listen for your name. I never heard my name. I did see others walking up to the mobile area. So I did the same and asked the young lady working am I supposed to get my named called or walk up? She said it doesn't matter, what's your name. I tell her and she hands me my food. Problem #1 I ordered a sun joy doesn't look like one. Employee oh our sweet tea machine is down so we gave you lemonade but I can do unsweetened tea if you want. No apology. Problem #2 fries were cold. I ask for new fries. Not everything new. Just fries. Annie, "let me see her ticket." She takes ticket from employee. Looks at me and says oh I'm not giving you new fries, your food has been ready so you're not getting new fries. Excuse me? I said. I told her we have been waiting and didn't hear our name get called. She says your name was called. She doesn't apologize she just says you can get a refund. We go to the cash register and she points to another employee and says she called your name. The employee looks at us both and says, I never called her name. I went back and forth with her and Allen another assistant director for a while with them consistently telling me there was no one else I could speak too and even if I called corporate Allen would be the one addressing the issue. My volume did go up and Allen asked me to use my inside voice. I expressed to him my frustrations and said I've never had a problem here before. I said I am spending almost $80 and I can't get hot fries or an apology. There is an extra charge for a sunjoy and they don't even tell me they are out.

Good location and busy as usual, but quick service. Food is fresh and delicious! Great choice when in this mall

Your standard Chick-fil-A. There is always a line here so I definitely recommend mobile ordering. You probably still have to wait for your food but it's a lot less stressful than shouting your order in a loud food court (plus you get rewards).

The mall opened at 10am, and the food court opened at 11am, and by 11:10 there was already a line. But it's worth it! Delicious food, friendly/efficient/well organized customer service. I absolutely LOVE the grilled chicken option for kids. The fruit cup portion is fresh and it's an excellent portion. I struggle to find appropriate fast food meals for kids but I don't feel bad about CFA meals and I prefer the activity books over toys any day!

Maybe I shouldn't let the secret out, but if you live in metro Detroit, this is the location that you don't have to wait in a long line of cars and spend almost an hour. But that one in Allen Park still has the full menu. Here you have 6 choices - sandwiches, strips, or nuggets. Waffle fries only side. Can Pop is it. But if those are the normal stuff you get, you don't notice what is missing. Set up also had to the quickness, one line if you are paying cash and 1 for those with cards. 2 cash registers so 2 cars can order and pay. 2 order takers in other line. Both line blend after order but you give your name and they just ask for your name when bringing order to your car. I had to pull up when mine came up after car behind me but I didn't mind since that is the polite thing to do. Well thought out and professional. Maybe the Allen Park location should simplify their menu until dinning in comes back. I will drive here until we can do that again because time is money and waiting in a slow moving drive thru line isn't worth even their chicken sandwich.

Michigan Covid-19 Chick-Fil-A drive thru at Somerset mall. It's their only semi trailer kitchen, been here since mid-March.

Kudos to Chick-Fil-A bringing their one and only semi trailer to Somerset mall. Been here since mid March 2020., and will be here till who knows when. Service was super fast for the drive thru with 2 cashiers taking your order. Here's what they offer: Original Sandwich Spicy Sandwich Fries Cookie Drink Also available as a combo, without the cookie. Thank you a Chick-Fil-A.

Last year Chick-fil-A announced that mac & cheese would be a permanent side. Is this location participating? We recently walked by and didn't see it on the menu board, though it was a Sunday so we couldn't ask.

I have been there twice and was able to get mac and cheese.

Do they have breakfast menu yet?

When the restaurant opened, I was told by a staff member that they didn't plan to offer the breakfast menu at this location due to the mall hours. It's a bummer, because I want their chicken, egg, and cheese bagel!

I made sure only to order dishes with blackened chicken so I could be sure to avoid the raw chicken issue I had before. I had one order that was decent and tried to order again today. To my surprise, immediately after placing the order, I realized that the website had changed the order location from Troy, Michigan to some other address I didn't recognize - and which is apparently in Minnesota . I tried to cancel the order, but their "policy" is that customers are charged for an order once submitted regardless of whether they receive the order - and, apparently, regardless of whether Sweetgreen inexplicably sends the order to some location hundreds of miles away. For context, I have only ever ordered from the Troy location and have never once ordered from a different Sweetgreen location. The reason for this re-routing to Minnesota is apparently a mystery, but it's one I'll have to pay for. In any event, I am done with this company for good. If you are placing an order with them, be warned that they may "fulfill" the order hundreds of miles away, and they will still charge you for it.

Mostly a carry out crowd here. We were the only ones inside during the hour. It felt a bit like we were being watched and observed the entire meal, since we were the only ones. We ordered the chicken shawarma with hummus instead of rice, a chicken kafta with hummus instead of rice, a small fattoush and a large fattoush salads without pita. Both dinners come with lentil soup. The salad was refreshing and flavorful. I liked the dressing. More lettuce and less cucumber would have been better for me. Still quite enjoyable. The pickled veggies were so yummy. Nicely pickling and seasoning to it. Not too tart and super flavorful. Owners are both friendly, attentive and accommodating too. Their kids are in the shop hanging out. The chicken shawarma meat was a bit dry. The owner said it was dry since it was the inside and end of one shawarma on the spit. They change it every 4 hours or so. The chicken shawarma had nice flavor to it. The chicken kafta meat was moist and pretty good, flavors were quite subtle. Both meats were good with their garlic sauce and hummus. Their hummus is so smooth. Service and food were both pretty good.

They make everything fresh to order, as another reviewer noted, and they had beef and chicken roasting on the spits when we walked in. You get to choose a can of soda from the fridge, I got a Sunkist and my boyfriend got Pepsi. Overall you can't beat this deal, and the sandwich was super delicious to boot; it reminded me of La Saj's, down the street. I definitely will be back at some point on a Tuesday or Wednesday sometime to get more shawarma.

I ordered the "Double Trouble" -- French toast loaded with cookie dough, Oreos, Nutella, and chocolate sauce. Let me just say... that dish is a train straight to diabetes. In all seriousness, it was absolutely delicious and indulgent, but definitely on the overly sweet side. If you have a serious sweet tooth, this one's for you. My wife went with the Classic Eggs Benedict, and that was excellent -- well-balanced flavors and cooked just right. The breakfast potatoes, however, were a bit bland. They were cooked well texture-wise but could definitely use more seasoning. Service was so-so, though it seemed like they were pretty busy, which likely played a role. The location is great -- conveniently about a mile from Woodside Church, one of the largest churches in Michigan -- so I can imagine it gets especially packed on weekends. One important note: restroom maintenance needs attention. With only a single restroom per gender, cleanliness is critical. My wife noticed the toilet seat wasn't clean, which is something that should be addressed promptly, especially in a high-traffic establishment. Overall, the food quality was strong, particularly the main dishes, and we'd likely return -- but there are definitely a few operational details that could elevate the experience.
