I'm obsessed with Grey Ghost so when I learned about Little Ghost, it was on my to go list! Especially since I love the burger at Grey Ghost. Located on Woodward, there is ample street parking. I didn't realize that Little Ghost is more of a fast food joint versus restaurant. The burgers are made to order and it does take time - reminds me In and Out with a special Grey Ghost touch. I ordered a single and double ghost burger with fancy fries. You get to pick the temperature of your burger which makes elevates the experience. Ordered a single, a double, two drinks and fries. Totally was 34$. Very expensive I feel. Food was good though. I did enjoy the burger. The single was enough. They don't have any toppings for the burger besides cheese, lettuce and their ghost sauce (basically mayo, pickles and maybe tomatoes). They do have packets of ketchup and mustard if you ask. We ordered a double burger, Nashville chicken sandwich and 2 French fries. The guy at the register told us the fries were small and he recommended ordering 2. They aren't small fyi - one is the size of a medium to large at McDonald's. We regretted it immediately once we saw them. A suggestion to the restaurant - please ask which sauce we would prefer. My first time here and I had no idea it was served with a special sauce instead of ketchup. Their sauce was super sweet, I didn't prefer it. Both sandwiches were good. VERY messy and hard to eat. The relish/pickles were sweet. The bottom bun on the chicken sandwich was soggy. For dining in, it took awhile to receive our food when we were one of the few ones waiting. The hot dog was an interesting concept but surprisingly really good. I had the single-patty burger and it was more than big enough--and amazing. I visited Little Ghost on a Wednesday afternoon right before 4 PM which was perfect timing! I was able to snag one of two parking spaces, walk right in and place my order. I ordered the single cheeseburger medium with bacon, fries, a bottle of Fiji water and pineapple doughnuts. Total was $23.00. I received my food probably less than 10 minutes later. The Nashville chicken sandwich (not pictured, I couldn't help myself) deserves its own spotlight too. Absolutely packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The vibe hits you the second you walk in. The place is alive with a busy kitchen, and the smell of everything cooking is unreal. You can tell they take pride in what they are making, and the energy makes the whole experience even better. I'm hooked on Little Ghost, all of it - the burgers, fries, their chicken sandwich, loaded beef hotdog, and mini donuts w/ dip. Fifth time in less than a few months. This is a newer and better take on fast food burgers & fries but with great tastes, a simple yet delectable menu, and all fairly priced. The value you get is unbeatable for what I consider to be the freshest ingredient and flavorful burger you can find around town. The burger is fresh, all beef patty, that special sauce which perfectly complements the entire ensemble, fresh lettuce shreds, and I opted for no American cheese to really taste the burger, I ordered it "pink" which is like medium done. They also give you the option of ordering it well done "not pink". The fries are the best in my book especially with their fancy sauce. I usually opt for the burger and fries but also tried their loaded beef hotdog and chicken sandwich which were so good that it's now difficult to choose when ordering. The place is fairly small but clean, limited counter seating. It's reminiscent of the older burger joints back in the day (think Greene's, Hunter House) with simple menus and a few stools along the counter. Inside is a very small and trendy, but also uncomfortable bench and long table style seating system. Limited drinks available by the bottle. Obviously, the star here is the burger. I will keep this brief. I really wanted to like this place. My mom kept trying to understand the concept of the place, which is perplexing a bit. Positives: nice char on the burger, burger itself is not too bad. Negatives: nothing special to make me come back regularly, as others have mentioned: my burger was near medium which was a surprise, brioche bun did not stand out, bun got soggy quickly, lettuce wilted quickly as well. Finally tried Little Ghost today! I was pleasantly surprised by the quinoa burger. I am usually not a fan of them because they are easy to make poorly- I find they're often dry and crumbly. This burger was very soft but still had a nice shape- not mushy. The burger overall with the bun and toppings had a sort of sweet flavor- not my favorite but it was still tasty. The fries were good! It has perfect density, is well-seasoned, and is easily 15% better than a Five Guys patty. The Toppings: The lack of customization is frustrating. No extra options or toppings are allowed. It comes with American cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce (not a fan), and way too much sauce. The sauce itself is okay, but the burger was drowning in it. The Fries: Good firmness, they definitely hold their shape better than Five Guys but Five Guys' Cajun fries still win on flavor. The Value: I paid about $20 for a burger, fries, and a tip. Excited to try Little Ghost, my kids and I stopped for a late lunch. My daughter was immediately excited by the purple/pink building and color scheme. Super cute logo and iconic branding. We got the Nashville Chicken sandwich, Kid Dog, Kid Burger, Fries, and Doughnuts. Sandwich was perfectly crispy and huge!!! I couldn't finish it, I have a snack for later.
