I'm not a huge Chick-Fil-A fan but my granddaughter wanted to go and play in the play area and have Mac n Cheese. Easy parking, convenient location. The cashier wasn't very friendly to start. We ordered dine in. Grabbed a table next to Play Area. Granddaughter got 3 minutes in play area before some very rowdy kids chased her out then stood at the window staring at her and making faces while their mother sat behind us doing nothing about it. Our food came. 1. No utensils to eat with... so I went to grab them (they don't have the normal spot where you grab your own ketchup napkins etc) and the rowdy kids came out and kept walking up to my granddaughter and trying to grab her food (mother not doing a thing to stop them). Finally get the utensils we try to eat in peace but couldn't and the restaurant was filling up so we couldn't move. 2. No kids toy in the kids meal (my granddaughter is 4). I asked the manager who was walking around about it and he brought her an ice cream instead. That was fine - until the rowdy kids sat there and kept staring at my granddaughter trying to enjoy her ice cream. It got to the point that we just had to leave. Food was ok. I got a salad. She got a kids meal. Neither of us really ate or enjoyed because of the whole situation. I just start working for DoorDash, and drove in the mobile order line ( I didn't know that's not DoorDash) then I asked the guy about the order. He tells me oh I need to go inside the store to pick it up, so I went in the store and gave them the name and they told me I need my phone so I went to get my phone, then they told me no I need to go park my car in a parking spot, then come back in the store to get the order. I would like to make a complaint about a wrong order I received and how Brittney the supervisor on duty wasn't helpful at all she sent the wrong order to my house then when I called back for compensation and she wasn't helpful at all. The service is getting increasingly worst at this store. My husband and I eat here at least 4 times a week and every time we do mobile order. Almost every time we are missing at least one item out of our bag, but today was the worst. When I got to the window, I watched the server give at least five cars behind me their orders before asking me to move up. I moved up as requested and set there for an additional 15 mins before someone came to my window to tell me their waiting on my egg whites. I asked if I could cancel my order because the mobile device said the order was already processed so I can no longer canceled. I was told ok they would cancel. Whenever I'm pressed on time and need a delicious, savory and tasty chicken sandwich this is where I go. I almost always get their crisp waffle fries with iced tea ( half sweetened half unsweetened). On July 16th, I visited the Waldorf location on Crain Hwy before opening time with a spreadsheet in hand that consisted of 16 breakfast orders.... The staff let me in promptly at 6am and Blanca started taking my order. I was frazzled as I had a strict timeframe to get the food and meet up with 15 party-goers that were planning to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. Blanca and her staff were so professional and organized. Not only in getting my order but also assisting other customers that were also getting their early morning Chick-fil-A fix. Blanca had my order perfectly plus the sauces and napkins and I was on my way. This location's volume of traffic is out of control. The customer service used to be a lot better too. Now the attitudes are pretty lackluster, just like any other fast food place in Charles County. I love love love this Chil-fil-A location! I purposefully drive past another to come to this location. I mean yes, I've seen the lines long at this location (I mean what Chik-fil-A doesn't have lines) but the employees are always helpful and the line move quickly, so I don't mind the wait. This particular restaurant in Waldorf, Md used to have quality food and portions. I don't know what's changing, but the chick nuggets 6 or 8 pack nowadays are hard or taste like the meat is old. The Cobb salads have really fallen off. The salads hardly contain any chicken meat, and the quality of the lettuce is not good or vibrantly green like it used to be. Today my salad came with a surprise, something hard that looked like ham. I don't see myself being a regular customer in the future. For some reason this location has never been able to get the volume it receives under control. I've witnessed heavier traffic at other locations that have the traffic and service down to a science. There needs to be high peak time smoother process, that keeps the lines going... avoid going to this location on your lunch break, you will be late getting back to work. Bottom Line: What you'd expect from Chick-fil-A plus some extra nice landscaping at the drive through. I've stopped here several times on my way to North Carolina. I like that its easily accessible from MD-301 southbound. Also the food is always on par with Chick-fil-A's standards and of course the staff is nice. As an added bonus, I think the lovely landscaping, inclusive of a babbling fountain in the drive through lane, is a nice touch. There should be no reason why the app says my order is ready and I still have to wait 10 mins to actually receive it. My order is usually missing something. This is not a good one. Coming from Virginia I expected more from chick-fil-a. They were rather busy and we went through the drive through. The people taking orders were going back and forth each other over who got what persons order wrong.
