Noppppppeeee. This is NOT the Habit I fell in love with in Cali. Ranch is still fire, of course, but the food and service here? Not my fave. First visit: I ordered online. Arrived early and waited a few minutes. My order was called. Here's what I ordered: -two Char burgers (one lettuce wrapped): these were not good. Smothered in so much mayo it was dripping i -meal deal (half patty melt, chicken bites, side, etc. I'll spare you the details, but I asked for an extra ranch after looking in my bag, and realizing I didn't even get the three I was supposed to get. I had two in the bag and I asked for two more, but informed her that I was missing one. My bag was on the counter and she yanked it towards her and started moving all of my food around as if I had hidden the ranch. Being that distrustful of a customer over a $.65 container of ranch is insane. Typically, most locations will give you one of the small ones for free, anyway. But also, chill when you haven't even provided what you were supposed to. Finally got the ranch and the burgers were so covered in mayo that it was leaking out of the bun. Imagine large drops of mayo and mayo alone falling out of your burger as you attempt to take a bite. I ended up wiping it with a napkin. Second visit: I came back with char tickets to pay for a portion of my order. These tickets are usually sent by customer service if you have a bad experience. Anyway, the cashier was very, very nice this time around. However, he was very confused when I was placing my order. Previously, you could use char tickets and app offers. I guess this has recently changed? Anyway, there's all this confusion at the register. The employee is super nice the whole time but it was frustrating. Anyway, finally get my food and it's better than last time but the street corn tots were gross lol and my chicken bites tasted like they'd been fried then reheated. read more

I stopped by The Habit Burger Grill for a quick lunch and figured I'd give it a shot since it was my first time there. I'll start by saying the staff were great--very friendly, helpful, and patient with recommendations. The place was also clean and well-kept, which I appreciated. As for the food, it reminded me of typical stadium or ballpark-style meals. The chicken bites were pretty good, but the burger itself felt very basic, almost like something from Burger King, and the bun didn't taste fresh--more like it had been sitting out for a while. The fries were bland at first and definitely needed salt, but once seasoned they were decent. On the other hand, the strawberry lemonade was excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. I was really excited to try the teriyaki pineapple, char burger. Finally, something to challenge my favorite from Red Robin which is their Bonsai Burger! All the ingredients were fresh and juicy. This was a tasty bite, and the only place where Red Robin stands out is their teriyaki marinade which is literally infused into the hamburger meat. I loved my first visit to Habit, and dare I say I will make visiting in the future a habit?! The customer service was excellent and, as a newbie, the cashier walked me through all the options with patience and enthusiasm. I ordered a charburger, 50-50 fries and wings combo, and a vanilla shake. The burger was very good and certainly made me a believer that they have surpassed the (Burger) King as the king of chargrilled burgers! The fries were nothing special but the onion rings were by far the best I have ever tasted! They were perfectly seasoned and made me wish I had just ordered a full order of rings instead. Habit isnt available near us, so we had to stop. Location was clean, and felt safe. Staff was friendly and efficient. It is a quick serve burger place, so with that in mind the food was great and a great value. A much better burger and experience compared to the drive thru burger places, and much better privileges point when compared to the "gourmet" burger joints. The Habit Burger in Waldorf is always clean and you are greeted by its friendly staff. I ordered an original charburger with cheese meal with tempura green beans instead of french fries and the strawberry limeade. My wife had the same but asked for half onion rings and half french fries. The food was cook very well and tasted fresh because their burgers are made to order which I love. The sides were hot and tasty. My absolute favorite was the strawberry limeade. It is so refreshing not too tart and not too sweet. I love the little bits of strawberries that are in the beverage. I have come to this place a few times only because my family and I see it from the road sometimes. Or when we go through all the options that we feel safe with, we remember, "Oh hey, how about Habit?" Every time we come here the food tastes wonderful. The burgers are made to order and have not been incorrectly made yet. The fries are perfectly crisp, we also get the fried green beans and let me tell you how delicious those suckers are......AMAZING!!! I love how they have the banana and jalapeños on the side where the other condiments are. Oh and they hibiscus tea, lemonade and sweet/unsweetened teas are too delicious. I think these are the best burgers I've had in Waldorf or in Maryland period so far. The service was courteous as the place was clean. And even the restrooms were clean every time I took my kids to use the services there. The tables were always clean and the floor looked freshly mopped. Was very interested in stopping by this place when they opened up in Waldorf and my wife and I finally had a chance to stop by and see what they had to offer. My wife ordered a BLT and onion rings. The BLT she received should've been called a "LT" instead because there was barely any bacon to be found on that sandwich. She did like the onion rings though. I ordered the double char-burger with fries, and while it looked good at first glance, it was no good at all ! The burger was as dry and tasteless as it could be. This burger was not good at all ! Tonight there was a gentleman and my husband seems to think he is the manager. He is the sweetest man and very kind. This place has been in waldorf for a few years now and honestly I never really thought about going in for some reason. Today I was checking out the weekend vendor market and saw habit grill. Instead of driving off I decided I had a taste for a burger so I went in. Well let me tell you. I had no idea their burgers were that good. The charbroiled cheeseburger with bacon with delish and the vanilla milkshake topped it off nicely. The restaurant had your typical take out fast food look but everything was organized and clean. It was a nice surprise to find out that Habit Grill isn't a west coast exclusive. I used to come here all the time when I was living in California. Habit grill does burgers and fries the right way. Everything is fresh & made to order so it'll take longer than your usual 3 minutes to get your food but it will be so worth it. The fries are nice & crispy & they have just the right amount of salt on them. The burger is just perfect, not too greasy so when you're finished with it you don't feel like you're about to die. The bacon & the mushrooms were HELLA good additions to the burger. Everything was just perfect for lunch. This location also was very clean & the employees were all very friendly. I had their single burger, which comes with everything, an order of onions rings and a chocolate malt. The burger was hot and delicious, and so where the onion rings! Although the food is prepared made to order, the food was ready timely. May be in part to the thin patties. Menu is not big, but has a bit of variety, including steak, chicken, and veggie burgers and salads. They also offer to serve lettuce wrapped. They should think about wheat buns as well. There are 3 teas, strawberry lemonade, and peach and ginger nectar drinks (which I had and was good). I give 4/5 for taste. Would be all 5 but my Santa Barbara sandwich should not have had bbq sauce on it, and did not taste good on that sandwich. I like they offer sweet potato fries as they were not too thin to overcook and not too big to not have taste. They have a pepper bar to get your own jalapenos, banana peppers, and pepperocini peppers. I picked up so me jalapenos that had black seeds, not sure if that is healthy. 3 2.5/5 for cost. There is no combo discount although they attempt to make it seem like it. The Santa Barbara is their double on a sourdough bun with avocado and cheese. The patties are not stacked, rather overlapped to fit the long sourdough bread. They cut it in half to give the illusion of two patties that fill both halves. The bread is thick (It is sourdough) and LOTS of lettuce, but not much beef nor avocado. The sweet potato fries are $3 and I expected to receive more. Although I like the taste, for $12, I'll go to Red Robin instead. I will give it another chance so I can try the chicken sandwich or salad. read more

I was super excited for this new local spot...especially for the veggie burger! First try on a weekday evening, small line so that moved fast. I got the only veggie burger option on the menu and added Swiss cheese and grilled onions. I enjoyed the sandwich and the wheat bun that it was served on. I kinda wish the honey Dijon dressing was a little "thicker" to help with losing so much just dripping from the sandwich, especially since the dressing was yummy and added to the flavor. My partner got the golden chicken sandwich. She forgot to add options to her sandwich (like cheese and bacon) partly because she simply forgot but it also wasn't asked like I was asked *shrugs*. She did enjoy the taste of the chicken saying it was lightly battered and seasoned well...it was just those extra additions she missed. The fries are just fries...but they were good. There is an adequate amount of seating, including outdoor seating with a heater. 3 stars from me represent an average meal. We do plan to go back and my star rate may improve. read more

Tried habit grill because we didn't want to cook and didn't want to go to a"restaurant". Decided to dine in once we arrived. Food took about 15 mins which was a little longer than we wanted. I added an extra patty to my teriyaki burger but once it came out it only had one patty. So I had to wait a little longer for them to make an extra patty. Once o ate the burger I actually enjoyed it. It had a good flavor and was a decent size. My husband said his burger was "ok". He said he would try it again. So here's where we were a tad disappointed: I ordered the kids nuggets and kids grilled cheese. The nuggets were all breading, not much chicken. The grilled cheese had an excessive amount of cheese on it which I think cause the cheese to not be able to melt throughout. Because once my daughter started to eat it, the cheese wasn't melted fully. So I would come back but I would say stick to the burgers. read more
