Been to this location numerous times and never had an overly negative experience. Maine was late to the game when it came to Chick-fil-A with this still only being the second location with the first up in Bangor. This specific one opened way back in 2021 and I remember the madness around the area during the first few weeks. Was an easy choice to avoid it and go once the hype died down. While it never reaches those levels of crazy anymore my wife and I have definitely decided to go elsewhere if lines are long sometimes. Due to being closed on Sundays it seems their busiest day happens to be Saturday as everyone is trying to get it before they can't! The workers in drive thru and inside have always been kind and seem to be as efficient as they can. Our latest visit we wanted to avoid the long drive thru lines and thankfully ended up about 5 people back in line and got our food less than 6 mins after. For fast food chicken I would come here before KFC but depending what kind of chicken I want it could be a toss up between here and Popeyes. But unfortunately, my favorite fast food chicken has not graced Maine with a location yet.... That being said I do enjoy the spicy chicken sandwich from here, tasty quality but could use some more spice. The waffle fries are unique and are decent when hot but if they are cold I would skip. Lastly another highlight for me here is their seasonal ice teas/lemonades. My wife is a fan of their chicken tenders, but like me this is not her all-time favorite fast food chicken tenders. I think Chick-fil-A would be considered in the upper end of fast food spots in my mind. Seeing other reviews though it is clear to see that just like other fast food places this spot makes mistakes. Prices are high here and honestly plays a factor in coming here or not quite often. If you haven't tried Chick-fil-A before I think its worth giving a shot if you want chicken. I would say almost everyone I've been to in Florida would be five stars but when I travel the country, there seems to be less speed and attention to details. I have only ever grabbed something through their drive thru. It's had won 2 free meal cards at an event I went to. We were on our way when I realized the cards expired the day before. I called to see if they would still honor them. Magdeline took the call, so friendly and helpful. She said if we went inside told person at counter of our conversation she would make sue that the cards were honored! Holy heck!! Maybe it's just because I am new, but if fast food could get things like Michelin Stars, this place would have em'! I've heard it all, about chic fil a ! Good and bad and been dying to try it. The drive thru in this location, which is located at Rock Row in Westbrook Maine , is double lanes. You pull up, order what you'd like, and they ask for a name to put on the order. The line got a little long so they sent out this nice young man to take cards and get orders paid for. I did wonder, what would happen if someone had cash.. Then I pulled up to the window, no, it was a drive thru door. Another very polite young lady stepped through the open drive thru door and handed me my bags. Like I said I'd been waiting a year to try this place, and I really thought, it couldn't be as good as everyone had always said. It ffffing was! It was a flavor combination blasting off man! It was so so so delicious. They also have this chic fil a sauce... oh.my.god. The whole experience was just top notch, top notch I say!! The quality of the good - fantastic as you would expect if you have been to a Chick Fil A. Fresh, hot and packaged with care, very neatly packed/wrapped even though they are moving fast, the product doesn't seem hurried. The Owner, managers and leaders here are doing their absolutely best trying to train and motivate employees in the Chick Fil A way. I can't expect it to be perfect, as humans are not perfect, but they keep trying and I applaud them for the smiles and customer service, even though they are dealing with workers that may not be motivated or used to this fast paced work. Most of the employees we have encountered seemed like they were trying, saying all of the right lines to the customers, some seem very natural and others not so much. We love the online ordering app- it works well if the employees in the drive through understand how to process those types of customers. We actually had one employee walk away from our car and not return, leaving the employee confused at the ordering booths. We shared that the employee just turned and left his shift when the line leader told him to, leaving us without customer service. We were willing to forgive that as the food was excellent. Another experience we had, they forgot one of the sandwiches in our order and unfortunately left a family member very unhappy/"hangry" we shared our feedback and were provided a credit in the app to use for a future order. Then after another visit, I received a message on my app - the owner of Rock Row Chick Fil A, gave me a reward to use to get a sandwich during our next visit. I appreciate the gratitude they have towards loyal customers. We have loved their breakfast and their lunch/dinner. The wrap with avocado dressing is AMAZING!!! I love all of the their sauces that go with their signature chicken both original and grilled. Slowest and worst run Chick-fil-A in the country. They do not accept pickup orders, curbside, or any form of delivery. Their drive through line never has outside staff like almost every other Chick-fil-A in the country. I like chick-fil-A mainly there Mac and grilled nuggets, But this location the food was cold and come out really fast. The Mac had the scraping like it was from the bottom of the pan, it wasn't filled , and the nuggets wasn't good, cold, undercooked . I ended up in the bathroom off and on all night, I had to use the bathroom while there and when I was walking to it, I slipped and had to stop my self from falling , I ended up hurting myself and the bathroom wasn't very clean. What a shit show. We've been here three times and this is the only time we've been able to get in line. (I abandoned this review at this point, and picked it up a year later below.) Putting Chick-fil-a's horrendous politics aside, every other location we've visited across the country has had supreme service, spotless interiors and phenomenal food. This location is none of that. The drive-through is a hot-mess and doesn't come close to resembling the service you will find at literally any other location. The order is often not correct, waiting time is extensive and the parking lot is...not it. And yet, it's better than what's waiting inside. Inside is an absolute embarrassment. Three times we've chosen to eat inside, thinking 'it's got to be better this time than the last' - nope. I've never once come across a clean table. Food all over the floor. Condiment station empty, yet overrun with trash. I know this isn't all on the staff, the customers should be downright ashamed at themselves, but c'mon. You can't provide service to tables if people can't sit at tables. The counter-service is spot-on what it should be. Friendly smiles, 'my pleasure', and the whole she-bang - once you leave the counter, all bets are off. This includes the food itself. Never before have I experienced a greasy chicken sandwich, until now. Never before have I had less than hot, crispy and perfectly salted Chick-fil-a fries. until now. I finally got to the ordering window and had to wait five minutes for someone to even acknowledge I was there. I died and went to chicken heaven! Juicy chicken heaven. I thought the sandwich was great until I had the nuggets! Wow- Lil bites of juicy tender chicken. My extremely picky kids scarfed them down no problem. Mac & Cheese was just "good " to me but my kids said it was awesome. It is finally here . Yay! I can finally go and get a great tasting spicy chicken sandwich locally rather having to wait when I'm in Bangor. The chicken patty is a chunk of white meat no grind up mystery with filler here. The meat is tender and you can add available veggies and condiment. Their waffle fries are equally yummy and try dipping it in their famous Chick- fil-A sauce. Their tenders are chunks of white meat. All are freshly made and comes out hot. I ordered a chicken, egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast but wanted Colbyjack cheese for my cheese preference. When I went to pay, they had charged me .60 cents more .30 cents to TAKE OFF the cheese and .30 cents to substitute the cheese! I told them I was NOT paying the upcharge so they threw away the sandwich made with the Colbyjack cheese, threw away a perfectly good sandwich for .60 cents!!! As a former loyal Chick-fil-a customer, I can agree that this is the most obscene monstrosity that landed in Rock Row Westbrook Maine; I will tell you my order, then server and lastly the atmosphere to get a run down. Me and my family ordered and got served with two spicy deluxe sandwiches, two large fries, and one large Mac and Cheese. Firstly, the large fries included them being in a large box, but was burnt and small. This BROKE my heart. I used to get served with amazing fries being filled to the brim of the box, but now whatever guy who was on fries that quit had created the downfall of Chick-fil-a. Furthermore, the spicy sandwiches were not that spicy. Talk about false advertisement. And I could tell that the lettuce was not fresh from how it looked like it needed to get thrown away, and was looking like it was in their containers for far too long. The boxes seemed like they were thrown straight out the chute by a muscle man from how they were extremely damaged. In addition, the Mac and Cheese is very questionable. Can someone explain to me why the M&C is not in the serving amount its supposed to be? Why were my M&C literally two bites in a large. I genuinely thought that I was obese from how quick I ate it. Moving onto the server. As a former Fast food server that has built there way up, I understand if you feel tired and want a break. Everybody has those days to deal with customers when you just want your paycheck. But was it extremely hard to order two sandwiches? I think the employee thought I came from alien planet for how she saw me when I asked to for two meals and an entree, and it took a while for the transaction to happen from the horrible card readers they have. I have been here multiple times and they are usually always on top of things, but I came in and ordered a peppermint shake with it not being busy. What a con. We have visited Chick-fil-A in the South while on vacation. Excited when they finally came to Maine. What a disappointment. Ordered their salad. Got a bowl of wilted lettuce and about six pieces of chicken that had no taste and the texture of rubber. Chicken soup was not edible, so salty and bad taste, had to dump it. Chicken sandwich was equally as bad, stick with Popeye's, much better, this chicken must have been the same one they used in their salad, tasted like old rubber.
