Here is a lunch we had while we picked up our Thanksgiving Feast. Not shown is a full smoked Turkey. This was our Thanksgiving Turkey. We only had to heat it up the next day and boom, done. Easy online ordering and came with directions to heat up in our oven. Quick, fast and easy.

Moes new location is so nice. BBQ is my favorite and Moes is always my choice. Pulled pork, beans, corn bread and banana pudding so delicious. My friend had a pulled pork sandwich with two sides. The menu has everything from plates to sandwiches. The staff are the best. Next time I'm there I'll take lots of photos of the new location.

I would like to give this post a 3.5 review only because the price to quantity ratio was high. All that plus a short beer was like $45. In Dallas, I had much more for less. Do I recommend going? You have money go for it. If trying to get a bang with your money, dont. The upside, the service and food was delicious. I do want to come back and try their brisket and other items I didn't get.

This was my first time at Moe's new location on Payne Road in Scarborough. There's a good parking lot with handicap accessible spots in front, as well as handicap accessible entrance and bathroom. There is not a ton of seating due to a smaller space but there is still a good amount. There are smaller tables and high top tables. When you walk in, you order your food at the counter. I came with a group of 5 of us. They have some tables to accommodate larger groups. We went on Tuesday because that is brisket day and you have to try the brisket. They offer so many choices of meats. You can get them in sandwich form or a platter and get two sides with them plus cornbread. We tried the brisket sandwich, pulled pork platter, smoked turkey sandwich, brisket platter, and shrimp platter. For sides we all got cornbread and then an assortment of collard greens, Mac n cheese, green beans, potato salad, and beans. Everything was delicious. The food was brought out to us which was great! I personally got the pulled pork platter with mac n cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. The Mac n cheese although did not super appetizing, was surprisingly delicious. The collard greens were hot and had pieces of their smoked sausage in it which was so good. The cornbread is spicy with some jalapeños and was yummy. The pulled pork was amazing - tender and moist. I paired it with their signature red sauce and it was so good. Plus I got two pickle chips! They have a variety of bottled drinks, fountain drinks, and some canned cocktails or beer plus a few beers and cider on tap! The service was excellent and the food was mouth watering. I will definitely be coming back!

Our sides -- cole slaw and potato salad -- were both excellent and rounded out the meal nicely. Dessert sealed the deal: the smoked carrot cake was so good we practically scraped the bowl clean to get every last bite. Another fantastic meal from start to finish, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

This weekend I took my best friend and it was perfect, even in the middle of winter. The deck is still open with plenty of space heaters and even heated seat cushions. We actually got so warm we had to peel off layers, which feels like a small miracle in Maine. The two of us love a marg & taco outing, and make a point to scope out the best of the best. We started with chips and salsa and some queso, which were the perfect kickoff. Then we ordered the street corn succotash, my absolute favorite. It's packed with flavor and topped with the most delicious, salty cotija cheese that pulls everything together. I crave that dish. We split the smoked brisket tacos and the smoked pork carnitas tacos, and both were outstanding. The meat was smoky and tender, the flavors were bold without being overdone, and every bite delivered. And the margaritas? Excellent and refreshing. Exactly what you want alongside that food. On top of all that, the staff is consistently wonderful. Every single time we've gone, our waitstaff has been charming, attentive, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. They strike that perfect balance of checking in without hovering, and they make you feel welcome from start to finish. Terlingua never disappoints. It's also very expensive and not giving an itemized bill as the check is very sketchy.

The inside of the restaurant is very nice, easy to find, and they have plenty of parking, which is always a huge plus. The food was definitely the star of the show. For the main courses: Pulled Pork Dinners: My husband and daughter both ordered this and said it was absolutely fantastic. Wing Dinner: My son-in-law loved his wings. Quesadilla: I had the quesadilla, which was decent flavor-wise, but a bit messy to eat because most of the filling fell right out as soon as I picked it up. The highlight of the entire meal was the cornbread muffin served with honey butter. It was honestly the best cornbread I have ever tasted! The portions here are massive, making it very easy for our granddaughter to pick a little bit off everyone's plates, and we still all came home with boxes of leftovers. I love the names of the kid's meals, so creative!! The only minor downsides were that the service was just "okay" (nothing bad, just didn't really stand out), and they had live country music playing. While the music itself wasn't bad, I'm personally not a fan of the genre and found it a bit too loud for conversation. The incredible food and great atmosphere mean we will definitely be back.

Not only did I feel like the prices were more than fair, but the food was delicious even after it had taken a ride. The brisket was tender, juicy, perfectly fatty, and the blueberry bbq sauce was balanced with a sweetness and a slight tang. The chicken wings were extremely juicy, perhaps some of the best cooked wings I've ever had. If I had any critique it would be that they were slightly lightly seasoned, but that is just me nitpicking. The mashed potatoes were rich, buttery, and decently seasoned, but felt slightly one dimensional. Lastly, the street corn was both rich and tangy which helped cut through the richness of everything else. I plan to visit Griffins in person and am looking forward to it.
