Best burger in Woodstock??? I'm afraid not. Went for the fried green tomatoes to start which were ok, a bit bland and then me and my wife had the standard burger (can't remember what they call it). The patty itself was pretty flavorless, worst onion rings I've had and the fries tasted like bacon (weird). Overall the service was good, just the food for the price was disappointing. One appetizer, 2 burgers and 2 diet cokes for $50, a little pricey to me for what it was. There's a lot of decent and good burger places around here now which are much better (community burger, prime, whataburger). We love Rally Point in Woodstock. Sadie Jo took excellent care of us. She was attentive, funny, and made an outstanding recommendation of blueberry cider for me. It was delish! Don't be put off or judgy of her tattoos because she's excellent at her job! My daughter and I split wings and they were phenomenal. Like Dandy Inn HUGE (if you don't know what I'm talking about- look it up)! The fries were fresh as always and served in a canteen cup. Cool veteran owned restaurant that has an amazing variety of food. Our party of three ate here recently for Sunday brunch. I chose the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and my friends chose the patty melt and French toast. Food arrived and everything looked delicious. My friend poured syrup on his French toast and took a bite, only to realize the syrup was actually vinegar! What a surprise! The staff graciously remade the dish and had it out pretty quickly. All the Irish pubs in town had 2 hour waits. $18 for a sandwich seemed steep. The beer selection was mediocre - no Guinness on tap. I asked what dark beer they had and we were suggested one that appeared nowhere on the menu. It was good but if I hadn't asked I would have never known. My husband wanted fish - that used to be on the menu. When I asked, the waitress said they had fish and chips during lent. Perfect! What came was a piece of fried fish. No chips (French fries). No tartar sauce. Just coleslaw that he ordered as a side. Don't call it fish and chips. Our guest asked if she could have wings - all flats. Nope! She had to get a mix of flats and drumsticks so she opted for a burger. No cider on tap. I am not sure how the check was broken down but I saw that it was about $85 at the end. Basically for 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks - none of which we really wanted when we came in but what we had hoped for wasn't really there anymore. We had a terrific experience for dinner last night. My food was well-seasoned, served hot, and our service with great. Damon, our waiter, was awesome. I highly recommend asking for him if you head in to Rally Point. We started with chips and queso and the chips were truly fresh and crispy. We ordered takeout the other night. We ordered two Philly cheesesteaks and paid for extra meat. Unfortunately the sandwiches were both burnt. Like tasted of carbon burnt. The cheese was very scarce as you can see from the photo. We paid for extra meat and I'm pretty sure we didn't get any. If that was the portion with extra meat I would really hate to see the normal portion because we had to redistribute the meat to even fill the bread. Oh but the bread was amazing. I think if the sandwich was prepared properly this could be killer. We both thought it lacked a little flavor, but we sprinkled some seasoned salt on it and it was great. I do appreciate the type of steak they used! Sometimes you get a Philly cheesesteak and it feels like you're eating a mystery meat sandwich. Absolutely not the case here. We didn't have a great first experience, but we both decided we would try it again at some point. Even though we'd never been before, it feels like this was an off meal for them.
