I want to start off by first saying this is my first time ever having chicken and waffles. As a foreigner it's not something I grew up with any idea of putting together. With that being said though, I'm happy my first was here. It is a drive thru only and I would say that I wish there was a lobby to sit and take in the full experience but I dont live far from the location so my food was still pretty warm when I got home. It took us less than 10 mins to get our food. The staff were very nice. The spicy chicken waffle was delicious. The chicken is seasoned throughly and although it looked extremely crispy, it was actually pretty easy to bite into and was as hot as I wanted it to be,(It's probably too hot for those who are sensitive to spicy food). I also like that the chicken is cut up into pieces to make it easier to eat. They only gave us 2 maple syrups which was not enough for both my husband and I. The waffles were a bit moist at the bottom but it wasn't bad. The Mac and cheese was also an incredible side for this meal. The cookies and cream shake was not the best but nonetheless was still appetizing and delicious. I just run a tight program when it comes to cookies and cream and my shakes lol. Altogether great first time experience. I'll definitely be coming back...Hopefully there's a lobby when I do! read more

I ordered online and picked up at drive thru. Very friendly attendant at the drive thru and I happened to time it just right (it was just getting bagged when I got there a couple minutes before the estimated time). I haven't been here before, but was craving a wrap. I ended up choosing the Asian sauce and just had the wrap prepared as it is on the menu. I also got a 3 strip combo with seasoned fries and a drink to take home for lunch the next day. The wrap was pretty good, although I didn't care for the slaw and pickles with the sauce. That doesn't mean there was anything wrong with it, just the flavors didn't blend for me. The fries were good, but not great. For being called seasoned fries they really didn't have that good seasoned kick that you'd expect. We did enjoy the chicken strips. I'll look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu. I don't know that it's so good I'll be going a lot, but I do want to try the waffles and some of the other stuff. read more

My first time trying Chick-in waffle was really good and I definitely will be back to try more menu items. Typically my drive thru experiences aren't the best or personable but Abraham was nice and personable. Food 6 Wings combo- I am such a wing girl so I could be hard to impress at time but chick-in waffle didn't miss the mark. Their wings already come crispy which amazing the wing sauce I got was spicy honey it wasn't that spicy but the overall flavor was really good. I got Asian chili on the side to dip my fries and that was a delicious sauce also. Then to top things have they had pickles on the side and I love pickles, such a great additive. My drinks was a frozen strawberry lemonade 10/10 like it was real fruit pieces in the drink how couple you not love it. read more

Looking for something different to try? This spot was cute and tiny but it packed a punch. We tried the spicy honey chicken over fries. The entree was huge and offered enough for us to split. The sauce was very good and there were jalapeños on it also, they had a cute side of the place that was setup as an ice cream shop. My opening day experience was stellar. The chick-in parm on bubble waffle ($10 including tax) was ready just two minutes after I ordered at the drive-thru, where the service was professional, friendly and helpful. The entree was generously sized in an 8" x 8" container with plenty of tasty, breaded chicken, parmesan cheese and Italian red sauce on a fresh, delicious, somewhat crunchy, somewhat chewy waffle. The waffle was fairly light so it did not overpower the dish, but instead complemented it nicely. The unique menu included a wide variety of chick-in waffles, loaded fries, wings and tenders. A friend had raved about this place and so she invited me to go for 'late night bites' with her because they are open till 10 o'clock. I don't know why she called them 'bites' though because these portions are insanely huge! Like crazy, Cheesecake Factory size. We each got 2 things and we had plenty to share, plus plenty left over. This place is fairly pricey (our total was about $54) and I think it's because the portions are so huge! Everything was delicious but I definitely would be more likely to come back if they had smaller versions of everything. I had one savory option, the Queso Fries, and one sweet option, The Churro. They were both filled to the brim and oozing with ingredients and deliciousness. I ordered the fries without jalapeños because my friend said the cheese had a good kick to it on its own and she was right, although I do love jalapeños so I might get them on the side next time. The 'Churro' was a bubble waffle with scoops of vanilla ice cream, small tubes of churro, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, and maple syrup. It also came with an additional side of maple syrup if you needed to add some sugar and calories to your already insane amount! You can get it on a Belgian waffle also but I asked the lady who was working if she had a preference between bubble and Belgian and she suggested bubble. I've driven by this place 1000 times and I had no idea all of the deliciousness that they had available on their menu. I am not usually a fried chicken fan but the chicken in the queso fries was done perfectly, white meat lightly battered, but it was still very moist (or 'super not dry' as those of us who hate the word 'moist' say haha.) My friend ordered the Waffle Bites but, despite the name, they were still good size and there were three of them I believe. She wished she could've ordered just 1. She also ordered the frozen fruit punch and we saw the employee make it and it's just a mixture of lemonade slush with instant fruit punch, so it's probably not really worth the price tag. The woman working in the drive-thru welcomed us warmly. She was kind and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. She worked fast, and also appeared to be the only person working there. I first heard of Chick-in Waffle when I stumbled upon the Westport location. While the waffles drizzled with powdered sugar and crispy chicken nuggets looked appealing, it just didn't seem to cut it amidst all the other mouthwatering food options in Westport. However, when I heard that they'd opened a second shop across the street from Home Depot in our part of town, I just couldn't help but give it a try. This fast-food joint hidden away at the back of a large parking lot offers a SOLID chicken sandwich for a decent price. Our favorites are the Queso Fries and the Nashville Chicken Sandwiches (watch out they have a REAL spicy kick). The only downside is that they still haven't opened their sit-down area, so dine-in isn't even an option. And, for some reason, their take-out boxes don't have little vents built into them, so the food gets a but soggy from all the hot steam on the way home. Other than that, this place is delicious and has made it into our weekly take-out rotation! read more

First time I went a sweet lady was working the drive thru window. I ordered chicken and bubble waffle. Food was hot, fresh and smacked. Second time I had DoorDash drop off my food. Given it was delivered, it wasn't as hot as my first indulgence. I got a chicken sandwich with the honey slaw. It was good. Not crazy delicious but it got the job done. Third time I went was later after 9 pm. Some younger guys were working the drive thru window and kitchen. We got orders of chicken and bubble waffles, a poutine fries with chicken and chicken wings as hot as they could make them. Needless to say food was subpar. Chicken wasn't even warm and seemed as though it had been sitting for longer than a hot minute. Waffles weren't warm. Gravy on the poutine fries weren't the least bit warm either. Still wondering if they even out hot sauce on the wings as heat wasn't a thing when eating them. I guess it depends on the time of day and who is working that makes all the difference. Well this was a bit of a surprise. I've driven by many times. Each time saying, "I'm gonna try that place." Today while dog sitting and perusing "Postmates", I decided to get it. Got the two tender combo plate thinking it'd be an appetizer. Also got the Buffalo fries. One and a half tenders in I was full and regretting getting the Buffalo fries. The tenders were well seasoned and filling. The Buffalo fries were messy and spicy and cheesy. I like them but could only finish the protein. It was all good. Not for the health conscious though. Really big portions of very good chicken based food. The bubble waffle is unique and has a very good light and crispy texture. Really good with maple syrup. Chicken wasn't a boneless breast or wing which normally is what is expected but chicken strips cut into pieces. The waffle was not fresh and hot like it was expecting. How a waffle place not provide any butter or syrup for your waffle. If you are servicing waffles please make sure it's hot and please provide the condiments for your order.
