Last experience through takeout was slightly annoying... the dude taking my order was pleasant quick and nice. The wait in line is generally fast. The guy giving me my food was not rude but he handed me a drink container and I immediately said I don't need this, took out the two drinks it was holding, and tried to give it back to him. He said it's against their policy to take trash and refused to take it back. Dude, you literally just handed it to me and now you're calling it trash and won't take it back to reuse for someone who wants it? I don't want what you call trash either! Visited last night and was a bit disappointed. Ordered a 12 count combo with the new Cherry Berry Lemonade and I feel like the lemonade and the fries were the best part because my nuggets were all huge, deformed, and cold. First time in this location after they renovated everything. I loved how clean & more spacious it was. I did not get pictures of the food as we just ordered Cobb salads to go & an oreo shake. I will however let you all know that it was VERY delicious. The workers were really nice & kept checking in on me as I was picking up. The only reason they get a 4 star is because we placed the pick up order online 30 minutes prior to arriving & when I got there I had to wait another 15 minutes for the shake. read more

I frequent Chick-Fil-A more than I'd like to admit, but it's just such a reliable fast food chain and this location is no exception! My family mostly takes our food to-go. Our order is always correct. This Chick-Fil-A can get busy, but with their new parking lot and drive-thru, it's not bad. The drive-thru line can definitely get backed up, but they are very efficient and it moves pretty quickly. Their staff are always so friendly and polite! When we do dine in, the service is top notch. Someone usually checks on us, gets us refills, takes our trash, etc. The inside itself has recently been renovated and is pretty clean. My family and I always enjoy our visits! read more

No complaints. CFA gives me free food all the time. And not just free food, TASTY & FRESH free food. I went to try the Frosted Lemonade, not too shabby but I'm more of a shake person so I know it's not really my cup of tea. All in all, another pleasant visit. I love how the cashier tries to pronounce my name and genuinely makes thoughtful conversation. It goes a long way with me. Truth be told, knowing someone cares enough to ask how my day is going really brightens my mood. I waited to post my experience due to the holiday and waiting for the complaint line to email me a response. On December 7, at 7:52 PM visit Chick-fil-A on 85th and state line. Ordered two deluxe Chick-fil-A sandwiches and a bowl of soup and nuggets.One sandwich looked as if it was missing part of the chicken, my guess is some of the chicken may have broken off while being cooked ,nonetheless it should not have been used to prepare a sandwich, both sandwiches was a bit overcooked and not well prepared. I didn't received soup ordered but wasn't charged for it.After getting home and viewing my order I called and spoke with a manager name Ezekiel.He said he was taking my name and would replace my order within 30 days. About 2 weeks later went back to Chick-fil-A. No record of my name and Ezekiel asked me about 20 questions. Over the phone was told I didn't need my receipt but asked for my receipt when I came back. Goes against the family friendly branding of Chick-Fil-A considering pets are apart of many families, especially within our local community... This was my second visit to this restaurant. On my first visit someone was fielding orders in the drive through, and it was a nice personal touch. I ordered chicken tenders and mac & cheese both were very tasty. This trip I had a cobb salad, and it was also very tasty. An after-dinner mint and hand wipe were in the bag. They seem to randomly give you a certain amount of sauces, salt/pepper, and napkins depending on the worker. I always ask for 4 sauces and sometimes I would get 2 sauces. You never know what to expect. The remodel is nice but there is still not enough dining room seating and I love the reward program which makes it easier to mobile order from your table. The service here is very slow compared to other locations, and the staff that are outside taking orders and payment often don't acknowledge you until you've already passed several of them. The food is usually okay, but the chicken is often overdone. Also, so many of the people working there aren't wearing masks! They just wear face shields. November 12,2024 I ordered in your drive thru @ 6:45pm. Usually I meal prep it's just cheaper. I ordered a Cobb salad with extra packets of tomatoes and bell peppers, and you know I had to get extra avocado ranch dressing. I usually eat half of my salad for breakfast and the other half for lunch because it's just that big. At 6am I get my salad out get it all set up to have my breakfast what do you know no salad dressing. I don't sweat it because chick fil A's are everywhere I'll just call and have them call the restaurant in my area letting them know I'm coming to get my salad dressing. I call your the store at 6:30am and speak with Natalie I explain to her what happened what I'm missing and she's apologizing, I said hey no worries do you know if you have a restaurant close to Crown Center? Before I could tell her I just moved back here. She tells me to look it up. I was taken aback for a second, I said okay I tell you what I want my money back can you write my name down so when I arrive they'll know why I'm asking for my refund. Ms. Natalie says I could but I don't know if it will be communicated because she leaves before the night shift manager gets in. I said oh okay you are really no help to me. We hung up. I definitely wasn't a fan of the CFA corporate politics from a few years ago, but the staff here has always been so very, very kind and welcoming to ALL my friends and family that I'm comfortable giving them my business. This particular location is run by very nice people who hire great people, no personal questions asked. I'm always greeted warmly and when they say 'it's my pleasure to serve you,' I really believe them. Nobody makes better lemonade than CFA. Seriously- try it! I always receive the best customer service at any chick fil a but this morning I was greatly disappointed at such a simple request. I go quiet often because this location is very close to me so I accumulate points all the time. I normally use my points for breakfast since this is when I usually only visit. The app doesn't offer you the option to ever be able to redeem a spicy chicken biscuit so I also select the regular patty and ask for it to be swapped out for the spicy one. I never have any issues for something so small that is being asked. Today I was told I couldn't get the party swapped and I cancelled my entire order. I will not be returning to this location. This Chick-fil-A has the absolute best service out of all the chikfila's in the KC area! We have been there quite a few times but the last two times have really stood out to us. We decided to sit outside on the patio and had a very nice older man come out and check on us multiple times, including refilling drinks and sauced. He gave the 10 year old little girl that I nanny a "future chick-fil-a worker" sticker and she just loved it! This past time we went we have even better service. I went up to order waters with our meal and the woman getting me water asked me how my day was and was very friendly. Later as we where drinking our waters I spilled a little bit of mine in the ground and seat, two very nice male workers who where chatting right by our table got up immediately and had a stack of napkins on hand and rushed to my side, I didn't even have to get out of my seat! They were so nice and helpful I just couldn't believe it. Towards the end of our visit a kind older worker came up to us and gave us both mints, we were delighted. She was so sweet and offered to refill our waters and get us sauces. All in all I just had an outstanding experience at this specific Chick-fil-A and I cannot wait to go back! read more

Never had a bad experience here. I was just there this morning because I had coupon for a BYGO chicken biscuit. They didn't scoff at my coupon and they let me add pickles. That's the way to go. You have to pre-evaluate the drive through because most of the time it is quicker to go in and get what you want --I say more than 3 cars, it's not worth it. You should go in anyway because that's where they keep those great soft mints. Sometimes I get a funky taste on only one bite of the sandwich... it's weird. Usually only happens when I have two back to back (probably a built in punishment). It's enough to make me not order another one but up until that bite, I am in heaven. I don't blame them though... I guess sometimes a chicken just tastes weird (what with the hormones and whatnot). It's the peanut oil that's so great. Really that's what sets them aside... that and they don't process the meat with fillers. Anyway, they have some pretty good sweet tea. Husband likes to have them mix the lemonade and the tea together. They don't bellyache about that. They are cool like that. They are just pretty cool in general. If you dine in, they come around asking if you need a refill or anything else and clearing your table of rubbish. They are always smiling too... As I mentioned, they offer coupons. I got mine on the back of my Price Chopper receipt. Heck, I've been in there eating and they just decided to hand out free sandwich coupons. Seems like they have a lot of promos. They celebrate their anniversary for instance. I got a free chicken nugget box for wearing a football shirt for some crazy promo. I have no shame. All for the love of free. I enjoy the classic Chick-Fil-A sandwich... because it has a pickle. :-) I like it when others order it too... just in case they don't like pickles (hey, you going to eat that?). I will start this review by saying that I love the way this Chick-fil-A operates, always having one or even two employees out in the drive thru helping people place their orders to speed things along. The employees are great, very polite and thankful for your business. The inside of the restaurant is clean and family friendly, with a play area for the kids, well kept restrooms and speedy service as well. The reason for the one star on this particular breakfast visit is that the value for the price on their breakfast sandwich is horrible. It may as well be three nuggets on a biscuit. We had three biscuits, one spicy and two regular. All of which the biscuits engulfed the chicken, leaving the edible parts of the sandwich to be dry an overwhelmingly bread to chicken ratio. When I say edible I say this meaning two things: FIRST, one of our sandwiches was undercooked and still pink inside (no, we didn't use strawberry jelly). Now, this sandwich was fat on one side and very thin on the other leading employees to possibly not know which side to take the temperature when cooking. I'm not sure, it's just my guess at this point. It's also in-pleasurable to try and take a bite of something chewy, having to pull with pieces of biscuit flying everywhere while people watch you gnaw at it like an idiot, haha. SECOND: our sandwich that was cooked properly was overdone and dry, and the same previous problem persists here, pulling on what seemed to be a tendon in the chicken, unable to cut through with my teeth to get a bite, I ended up with half (yes, half, because of it's already small size) of the sandwich hanging out from within my grip of the oversized biscuit. THIRD: I'll just reiterate the small size of the chicken to biscuit ratio and how for just $.50 cheaper than a lunch sandwich, the chicken was half the portion. Will I be going back for another visit? Yes, of course, I love chick-fil-A, it's probably one of two fast food places I'll still go to these days. But for the sake of being well-rounded and to keep your competition on edge, good Lord (pun intended for being the Christian establishment that they are), stay on top of things such as this. I appreciate them being the place that they are but this visit was full of disappointment! This was my first visit to a Chick-Fil-A. I had no idea what to expect and had my doubts that the chicken would turn out to be over-hyped. Not so! The greenery on my Chicken Deluxe was crisp. The buttered bun was lofty. The chicken was succulent and not briny. The tomato slices were sweet -- totally the opposite mealy texture I expected it them to be. My mind was blown once again when I had my first waffle fry. It had the most lovely, billowy potato texture just below its golden brown, peanut oil-fried surface. Mmm. This location is right next door to of my jobs, so I'll probably be going their almost every day which is fine with me because the people are just so nice and my food is always ready SUPER fast. The place is always jammed packed, so if you're eating inside, be prepared to search for a seat. I love the variety of sauces to choose from. I always pick up a ketchup, ranch, mayo, and special Chick-Fil-A sauce. As mentioned before, the staff is beyond friendly. Refills are free if you eat inside. The only problem I've had is when I got my food to- go one day. My food was ready super fast like usual, but after I had hopped in my car and drove literally just 1 minute down the road, my fries were practically ice cold. This was disappointing because I had ordered extra fries and they were all a misrable state of cold.
