This hidden gem is located on Market Street in Hartford right beside the 960 Main St building. It's a selfie museum and a restaurant all in one. The restaurant menu is small but there are a wide variety of options to choose from. I came for Christmas dinner with friends who were all dining for the first time. I ordered the New York strip with candied yams and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a little bland but was still edible. It was my first time trying candied yams and it was so rich, sweet, and delicious. I had my steak well done and it was so juicy. The serving size was also pretty decent as I had leftovers for the next day. For my drink, I had the soho punch which was very tasty and fruity. To be able to take pictures I believe you have to pay for that part separately, however, based on the numbers in our party, they told us we could take pics and you know the model I am, I went around and took photos at nearly all the photo booths. Each photo station has a ring camera with a ring light which makes it perfect for taking pictures especially if you do not have anyone to take your pictures. All the others in my party also enjoyed their meals. They had jerk chicken alfredo, fried whiting fish, salmon alfredo, Buffalo chicken wings, burgers and so much more. They also do paint and aip and will be hosting a New Year's Eve brunch if you are interested.

Without any seating in the restaurant, I took the boxed food out to my car. When I open the box of food there they were; the six piece chicken wings along with french fries that look like they were from McDonald's, along with the Pepsi The initial taste of the chicken and french fries revealed needed seasoning. Another words, no salt after they came out of the fryer. Once I applied a pretty good amount of salt, the crispy chicken wings just popped with flavor. The french fries were pretty good, fresh out of the fryer, and after the salt was applied, the fries tasted somewhere in between Burger King and McDonald's with flavor. In other words, they we're OK. This location is in a little strip mall across from the northwest police substation, on Farmington Avenue in Hartford. This was a great experience, and I really look forward to trying other things on this menu. If you feel like trying different; this is a great place to visit for great food reasonably priced.

It's a sizable portion and I was able to save more than half of it for the next day. The wings are small but the wrap was huge and there were more than enough fries. I got the Texas sausages, brisket and ribs with a side of Broccoli salad and Mac and cheese. Sausages were awesome. Mac and cheese was good, and the broccoli salad was fantastic. I almost ordered another portion. The meats however were very dry, which was disappointing, but I just ate as much as I could (I was stuffed.) When I finished I got asked how it was and provided my honest response, without expecting anything in return. I did choose to eat my food anyway after all. Still the manager came out and apologized and quickly provided me another portion of ribs and brisket to-go which looked much less dry. It was surprising and not necessary, but I was very grateful and the leftovers were delicious.

Smoked chicken wings were above average but nothing I would be running back for and didn't have a strong smoky flavor. There are better options out there for a kick as wing. For the price, I was expecting to have my socks blown off and that did not happen. Better smokehouse places in CT that knock it out of the park with flavorful sides and meats.
