At 1215 pm worker's standing around talking. Went in bathroom it was far from Clean . Ordered A four piece tender combo to go . The chicken was barely warm cheese sticks was fine . Diet Coke had coke on outside of cup . Wiped it off with napkin to find it had A hole in cup. So I PD FOR COLD CHICKEN AND HAD TO THROW COKE AWAY . This is why you have few customers. I know sometimes it is busy . Might think of not frying so much chicken at A time . Food prices are high workers want higher wages . Do A better job . read more

If you don't have 45 MINUTES to spare DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM THIS LOCATION! I had to wait 10 minutes before I could pull up to the window after ordering at the speaker because 3 cars were pulled ahead waiting on food. I ordered the #1, that's it! Once I paid at the window I saw they have about 5-6 people in the kitchen, and they're laughing and walking around. I pay for my food and wait ANOTHER 30 MINUTES! During this time 6+ cars are pulling up after ordering and they all pull off before they get to the window because of the insufferable wait, the only car waiting with me is the one behind me who paid right after I did . I can see the employees inside just standing around and drinking out of logo cups. After this time I've waited more than 30 minutes and this is unacceptable! A worker comes out, hands me the wrong order and just says "here you go " . Whoever the owner of this location is please fire everyone you are losing so much business it's disgusting. read more

I've always loved this place. From when I worked here at 18 with a crooked ass GM to now the food will always be amazing. The staff at this location were very helpful and cooperative. Overall good quiet atmosphere. read more

We stopped in Dayton on Christmas Eve. There was a little wait because they were very busy. It was worth it. All 8 pieces of chicken were great. Crispy, hot and delicious after being in the package for forty minutes. We got the food and drove to the next town to eat lunch with family. The rolls were delicious and the mashed potatoes and gravy were hot and delicious. We had a fantastic lunch because the workers made us a tasty, perfectly fried chicken dinner. Kudos to the young man who served us that afternoon because he was nice and friendly and made sure our order was perfect. The chicken dinner was so good I'm taking the time to write this because I seldom enjoy fast food because it does not taste very good or it's soggy. Good place to drive through and get home quickly. You move through drive thru pretty quickly, which always worries me. So far I have not had a bad experience, and we have been here atleast 2 dozen times. Of all the fast food in Dayton this is probably the best. read more

I have been to this location a few times over last couple months and since my last two experiences were bad and today's the worst I will not be going back for a while. I bought the 7 piece chicken strip dinner wanted two corn nuggets well they were out this was the second time this has happened. It was only noon! To make it worse when I got home and opened my box of 7 strips I found 3 strips and 4 nuggets what happened to the strips?! $12.00! So disappointed in the quality drop in last month! Only save them 2 stars. They are new to dayton. They can't seem to get their take-out orders right. Fish isn't chicken! Chicken not completely cooked is a health problem. I don't particularly like soggy fried okra either. Wanted to try their service snd food. I did and didn't care for any of their services. Sorry ...........I won't return! read more

Wife and I stopped here on our way home to get orders to go. Our error - we did not check our orders before we left the restaurant. Got home. Chicken missing from our order. Called restaurant to get a credit - too far to return to pick up missing chicken. Manager refunded entire cost of order. Appreciated the decision. Will return in the future. read more

The chicken is usually good. However, this location leaves a lot to be desired. Out of the last 10 visits we've made, something is always left off our order. Sides, rolls, drinks, something is always off. Management doesn't care either. Just a flippant "sorry" when half your food is cold while you're waiting for them to fix their screw up. The employees taking orders can't fathom that you're ordering more than one combo and tell you you're "total will be at the window" and you have to tell them more than once you're not finished ordering. They can't seem to g wet their act tighter. We frequent two other Chicken Express locations, and NEVER have issues. They Dayton location is terrible! read more

Just got some chicken at the Express. They always have good chicken and this was good. Sometimes I like to get some gizzards too. Was always a childhood favorite of mine. But when I got home and ready to try them I found them so dry and hard I couldn't eat them. I gave them to my cat but he couldn't eat them either. They were like hot battered rocks. We've tried this place twice since opening. Chicken tenders are great. Fried chicken has paper thin crust and is really greasy. Fried pickles are not so good, and I'd be willing to bet there from a bag pulled out of the freezer. Coleslaw has no seasoning. They're still pretty new. We eat here a lot. The food is good. However the service provided by the Manager, no less was very poor. I came in tired and not thinking clearly. I had a plastic cup I picked up in their parking lot to throw away. I entered the door and there was a trash can directly beside the door. Someone had placed a tray over the hole. Not thinking, I pushed it aside and threw the cup away. Then went to order and the manager greeted me coldly. I ordered then sat down. She stalked over to the trash can and pulled the cup from the bag, pulled another can out from the cabinet along the far wall, slammed the cup in it. I then noticed that all three trash receptacles had trays covering them up. So no available cans. It was 8:30 and they close at 10pm. When she brought out my food, she said, I pulled out a trash can for you to use. Do not use the others. Now customers have to walk around the can. Very poor attitude!! read more

This is the closest one I live near and twice I've gone here and they have messed up my order. Last time they forgot half of my tenders. This time they overcharged me. I probably won't be back to this location. Poor service. read more
