The folks here are as polite as can be, and the price points are on par with pretty much everywhere else, including national chains. I ordered the whole brisket sandwich, which came on lightly toasted bread. First, I should have ordered the half version, because it was a lot of food. Live and learn. Either way, it was delicious, with just the right amount of sweet barbecue sauce. I'm not sure where they source the chopped brisket, but it was really good with nary a hunk of fat. This restaurant is not quick. But, if you have an hour lunch, you'll be fine here. (Otherwise, call ahead or get it to-go). Though I'm not a regular in these parts, I have certainly bookmarked this joint for future visits.

I ordered my eggs fried over medium-hard, yolk came spilling out when I began cutting into them. The country potatoes are frozen, not home made at all. The waitress seemed shocked that I wasn't happy with the chicken fried steak and begrudgingly took it back. I didn't bother mentioning the eggs or potatoes. I took maybe 5 bites of the entire meal. I took my losses, paid my bill and left. We went home and made our own breakfast. This is not the same food, atmosphere, or friendliness we had become accustomed to in the past and this is why so many small businesses end up falling.
