We ran through here passing by on the interstate. Ummmmm, yummy. Up in my area, we don't have these, and my senses were pleasantly assaulted with the smells of everything fried. Fresh, delish chicken livers (I know, you can hate me, but I love them). Corn nuggets, fried okra, and coleslaw that is reminiscent of KFC. Super nice folks- fresh hot food. The rolls tasted like an ashtray and there was a hair in my mac & cheese, which was pretty terrible and there was so much grease in the chicken. It put a big stain on the seat and only got two pieces have to eat in this food. I immediately got sick. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to yourself a favor and do not eat. read more

Poor food quality and Poor customer service from store's management. I ordered my food through the drive through and it was cold. I complained and was given a container that was warm to the touch, but didn't look inside of the container. Once I drove home, which is 5 miles away, the food was over cooked. Apparently the staff dropped the food back into the hot grease. It was disgusting. I called the store manager and was told that they would replace my food. When I returned the next day, the female possessing as the "general manager" said, "it's not our store's policy to replace the food without the old food being present. " Shame on you, and your food is aweful! read more

Good food. Slow service. Order in advance if you can. No one in location but me and took 20 minutes.

Very rude to everyone like they being forced to be there. No meals you order come with a sauce so you're forced to not have it or pay extra for dipping sauce. I understand charging for extra but not one. read more

Great! I have eaten at a handful of chicken express restaurants never been dissatisfied but this particular chicken express was exceptionally good. Stopped with my family had one of the specials all the food was hot, good and it was a good value. The restaurant was very clean and the restrooms were clean. read more

Another stop on our vacation and another mediocre meal. The boys had fries and cheese sticks. They both said they tasted soapy and were warm not hot. We each had the chicken tenders. Wife had coke slaw and I had poppers as the side. Chicken was ok but the gravy provided was bland and off tasting. Coke slaw was fine and the poppers were good. The biscuit had no substance and just fell apart but was tasty. Biggest problem is ordering to receiving said order. Front person disappeared after each order. It took a long tome for the food to be brought out. This is strange because chicken was precooked and plentiful and the sides, except the poppers, cheese sticks and possibly the fries are already portioned and packaged. Would I stop again? No!, but enjoyed the experience of a new place to eat that we don't have at home. read more

First time to eat at a Chicken Express and it was a new restaurant, my friend loves Chicken express so we went to try it. I never leave reviews, but I hope the new manager appreciates knowing the items that need to be fixed. The bathroom was not clean and one stall was out of order. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but when we went to get our drinks there was a sign on the ice machine stating it was broken and ice was a mess and piled high on the machine, but was then told it was not broken and the sign was still there from the previous day, but was still not taken down. The lids were not stocked and an absolute mess. As we sat and waited we witnessed one of employees pulling up his jeans over and over and then touching the food without washing his hands. We got our food and walked to the car when we realized they had forgotten one of my sides, and forgotten the sauce and utensils in my friends box. My hush puppies were burned and couldn't hardly chew pieces of one of them and the chicken tenders were small, dry and somewhat tough. The fish had no flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good, the corn nuggets were just ok, the roll was good but didn't have the normal sweet flavor they usually do (according to my friend) who also thought her spicy tenders were small but good. The employees were very nice in correcting our order and I realize they may still be training since it was a new restaurant. Based on this visit however, I never plan to visit another Chicken Express in the future. One positive besides the friendly employees was the prices were fair for the amount of food we received. read more
