Other than the fact it took 4 min to order and 8 min for two tenders and a biscuit with mashed potatoes that were already made to be ready, everything was good. Lobby was clean and smelled good. Will come back but maybe they could use someone more focused watching the registers. Looks like the manager was right in front of me the whole time I was waiting for someone to take my order but he never offered any help. Just to get it with no Tartar sauce after specifically asking for Tartar sauce. The okra is not fresh in fact it is cold, hard, and stuck together. The chicken box and poppers were not fresh. Next time I ask for specifics I will sit and check my meal before pulling off and if not made the way I have requested I will be speaking to a manager for a full refund!! I was noticing how clean everything was! We changed our minds and decided to eat in. The food was great! From chicken, fish, corn on the cob, coleslaw, fried okra, mashed potatoes, and hush puppies! A big variety. Each one was great. They were not super busy but the employees were laughing and having a great time. Recently we went to this place inwhich they have been very good but management must have changed. We waited 30 minutes for our order since they didn't have chicken breast. We was the only people in there at the time but we finally got served and was very dissatisfied. The chicken was soaked in grease, Mac and cheese was mush and burnt, corn was dried out. When we told the manager, he said it was water not grease...lol. We said, did you deep fry with water or oil...our plates was sitting in a puddle of oil which melted the Styrofoam. 10/14/22 @ 640 p.m. The last three times I have been to the Chicken Express at Memorial and 91st in Tulsa they have messed up my order. The first time I ordered a liver dinner and got gizzard which I do not like I spoke to the manager that time and she was very nice and offered that I could come back and they would fix it. The second time I ordered a large order around $70 and they forgot to give me the corn that went with my order. This time I called and again spoke to the manager he was indifferent offered no solution and ultimately hung up on me and then refused to talk to me when I called back. I did not return for a good six months. Today I went and again order a liver dinner amongst other items and got gizzards again that I hate. I again called and talked to the Manger who I think may have been the same one and was offered no solution. I ask if there was a corporate number and he said yes but he did not know it. I stated rather blandly that that would limit the number of complaints. He then stated with what I perceive as attitude "you should be able to look if up on Google you can find most phone numbers there." I have went to Chicken Express at any location for the last time I can guarantee. I find it deplorable that this how Chicken Express treats their customers and that this manager is who they have selected to represent them. KFC, Popeys, and Cains should really pay them because they have certainly convinced me to pick one of them from now on. Please do not waste your money at Chicken Express remember this is the same attitude that is preparing your food and cleaning their kitchen. read more

I am a regular customer of the Tulsa store @ 91st& Memorial location. I typically go by every afternoon and have a drink and an occasional cherry pie. The store is always clean and the service is always fast. My only complaint is that about a month ago they changed the TV station in the lobby from HGTV to a sports channel and frankly I just don't think it is near as welcoming or relaxing.
