    The OG Sandwich

The food is amazing. You can tell there is a lot of intentionality and quality that goes into every component of the food. The service is a little hit or miss, though. It's a bit confusing when you walk in how you're supposed to order or be seated. The atmosphere is casual and everything was very clean. I really enjoyed my "The O.G." chicken sandwich and fries. Unfortunately this time there was a bit too much lettuce and not enough chicken. I would definitely love to check out more of the menu in the future.

We went on a Saturday night and the place was almost deserted (because of the fair??) Anyway, service was great. We had the hostess and the bartender making sure that we were taken care of. We started with the cheese biscuit/muffins. Definitely needed to use the honey butter on them for the full experience. I would probably order a different app next time. Because (IMHO), any good chicken place can be judged on their chicken strips, I just ordered three strips with a side of mac 'n cheese. I got the Buffalo Sauce as a dipper. The strips were perfect---tender and crunchy at the same time. The sauce was spicy and good. The mac 'n cheese was a custard recipe. It was creamy but needed a bit of oomph. I ended up putting some of the Buffalo Sauce on top of it. We tried the spicy chicken sandwich too (good flavor but not too hot to eat). Fries were good. Anxious to come back and try some other items! Nice area and easier for us to get to than the 71st location.

Crunchy. Juicy. Goood. Top 3 words that come to mind after eating this chicken! This was my first time having food from here and I can say I'm a fan. The food was ordered and picked up, no complaints about service.

FRIED CHICKEN!!! So I'm in the ever famous BA Fried Chicken District and I stopped in at Waldo's Chicken and Beer, inside the Tiger Hill Plaza at Kenosha and Lynn Lane. Couple things I wanna talk about: 1.) CUSTOMER SERVICE - Wifey and I sat at the bar and had a great time with our bartender (I'm so terrible with names!!! I'm sorry!!) and she was GREAT!! The manager on duty helped to seat us and checked on us!! She was great!!! The runner who brought us our food was GREAT!!! It was like wow!!! On all levels tonight, the service was awesome!! Even the kitchen staff was having a blast!! I could hear them singing and making jokes and having fun all while working hard to make everybody's yummy food!!! Easy 5 out of 5 from me here!!! Kudos y'all!!! 2.) The FOOD!!! We got an order of six little cheddar biscuits to activate our pallets and simultaneously silence the desperate pangs of our hunger beasts. They came out in short order and were so yummy!!! They are cute little bite size biscuits but with some butter.......... You may just do a knee slapping little dance and cluck or BA GOCK out loud like the awesome yard bird you are!!! Wifey and I split a half fried chicken with Mac and cheese and collard greens for our sides. I got the rocket (hottest sauce) and wife asked for the rooster sauce (not so hot). To start the collard greens were banging!! Very much southern style and loaded down with bacon!! Win win!! The Mac and cheese reminded me of the old school awesome cafeteria or buffet style Mac and cheese, like in the 80s and 90s when it was still highly respected and delicious!!! Ya, it was good!!! This fried chicken though!! Easily the best I've had in Broken Arrow so far. The chicken I got here tonight is better than what I've had at the Tulsa Waldo's. Sorry not sorry, it's my review and that's how my taste bros feel!! Our half chicken was fried to perfection. Just enough breading to make the skin crunchy and hold onto the seasoning they use to make it so yummy. Obviously to me the recipe is solid because well, it has flavor!! I like more spicy but that's just me. I was very satisfied with the flavor, crunch AND juicyness in each bit of my chicky!!! Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!!! Come try it for yourself if you haven't already and be sure to tell 'em Big Ray sent you!!!!

That ain't a frickin' biscuit it is a muffin. My wife and I had tried Waldo's at 71st and Yale. The bone in fried chicken didn't impress me at all. My wife had a good salad though. I didn't forget about that. In the mood today for a salad with fried chicken tenders. BA has a new Waldo's at Tiger Hill. It is close and worth a try. A Chicken Scratch Salad for my wife and a Chop Chop Blue Salad for me. Both salads were loaded with fresh garden ingredients and loaded with chicken (described in detail in the menu). Very filling, big bowls of food. Not bad, not bad at all. The store is clean. The service is at your table. The parking is a pain, but Waldo's has several parking spaces marked for their customers only. As stated on a banner out front "Happy Anniversary!" and on the back of each employee's shirt, "Celebrating 4 Plucking Years in Tulsa!" Time flies. I'm holding firm. Even a child of three could plainly see....that's a muffin.

Kids meal tenders with Mac and cheese

Had Waldo's chicken for dinner! It was okay. Kind of pricey like most chicken places. I got a kids meal. I didn't know it came with a cheddar biscuit so I ordered a side of biscuits. Best part of that deal - .99 cents for a bunch of biscuits. The lady in the drive thru was friendly but I didn't get any silverware or napkins and had to make a QT stop down the road because I needed those items. I will probably give it another go.

Service at the bar is outstanding, Heather and B are the best bartenders in B.A. the food is outstanding and the happy hour specials are fantastic. Great spot to watch Sunday football.

Food was fantastic, we got the "feed the flock" combo and it was a great deal! We tried all the sauces and our favorites were the honey mustard, Alabama white sauce, Buffalo, and the canes knockoff. Justin provided great service, definitely come & check them out.

We have so many chicken spots in BA around Kenosha and Lynn lane. Most people would not be happy to see another chicken spot but I encourage you to give it a try. Waldos hits the spot and is better than most of the other chicken spots. The service is incredible and the food is delicious. Lots of menu options and a really clean setting. Go there and make sure to get the cheese biscuits.

After a quick recent Yelp search this place kept popping up as number 1 in the area so I broke down and tried the restaurant again. It was nearly a completely different experience! The pita bread is probably the best I've ever had. The portion size has much improved. The mix & match plate options are more balanced. I love I can order a LARGE tabouli salad! The garlicky potatoes have always been delightful. They packed all of the things I paid for and curbside was literally instant. I WILL return many times if this restaurant keeps up these new changes. I suspect the restaurant is under new management or something.

It sounded good. I love pineapple and martinis. It was way too sweet for me. We ordered an eggplant dip that came with unusually delicious pita bread. They bring you pita bread no matter what you order. We also got chips with the dip. We loved the dip. The atmosphere was busy. They had a large crowds of people socializing. There's a garden area where people who like quiet dining can go when the weather is nice. Dan sent a text to management asking about sodium levels in their food and explained that he had to limit his sodium intake for medical reasons. They responded by saying they can't give him that information. I was happy to notice there wasn't a charge for paying with our credit card. We will be back.

Our waitress Dakota brought out water for us shortly after sitting down and gave us a quick summary of their seasonal menu items and a few drink suggestions. We started with a relish board and both of their seasonal lemonades. The relish board was good and had some very unique items like pickled berries that were tasty and had notes of cinnamon. The mushrooms were fresh and the meat options were also good. The relish board also came with fry bread and 2 dips which really stole the show! The fry bread and dips were incredible! I ordered the coffee crusted bison that was cooked perfectly and very tender. The white bean puree tasted just like mashed potatoes but with so much more flavor. Everything was seasoned perfectly but i felt the squash could have been cooked a little bit longer as they were a bit tough. The filet we ordered medium well came out medium rare but tasted good. Overall, our waitress Dakota was very accommodating, answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The service I receive is always great and has no issues there. I got the prime rib again just to be let down. The outer crust on one side had good flavor, but the other contained an amount of salt that would suffice a salt water aquarium. I ordered the prime rib medium rare. It came out appearing to be close to that but it was tough and had a gray colored center with pink around it. This is due to improper thawing or uneven cooking. Despite that, it literally had the taste of water. I was just disappointed. Although I did not finish it, the waitress did take it off the bill which I was pleased with the service on their end. There is an abundance of wine to choose from. Our server was rushed (and they were packed) and I didn't get a lot of direction on the wine so I just ordered a white sampler and just asked for three dry varieties. The first one I tried (Collan) was not dry in my opinion. The Triple was drier but my favorite was the Fume. I really got hints of pinion in this final one and ordered another 5 oz. of it. We tried the avocado bruschetta to start. It was four big pieces of good bread but was more avocado toast than bruschetta. I would probably go with a different appetizer next time. We both tried the burgers. I went with the mushroom-gouda one. It was over done and not seasoned at all. The gouda was nice and gooey and the mushrooms were seasoned well. Fries were OK. The table next to us had a couple of the flatbreads and I would try those next time. Back to the service. It was OK but our server had a tendency to just show up at our table and just stand. I would come back to try more appetizers and a flight of their red offerings. I also want to know more about the winery. Maybe after the busy holidays.
