First time to this establishment, I was overwhelmed by the kindness and helpfulness and smiling faces. I had to run out to my car and get my phone so I could do a review. Terry Henry, General Manager is what all managers should be .. super nice, helpful, kind, and up beat !! I ordered The Sandwich with pasta salad... My daughter was so excited to have this spot open close to my home. It was amazing and fresh! Very tasty food. I had a toasted BLT with lemon basil chicken salad and once I ate it all, I wanted more. The chicken tortilla soup is hearty and full of flavor. The cafe is decorated super cute with sunny bright colors and paintings on the wall. The booths were comfortable and clean. I love Chicken Salad Chick, and order there almost weekly either through drive-thru or Uber Eats. While the sandwich itself is usually good; the last several times I've received wilted, blackened lettuce. This isn't only unappealing, it's a major food safety concern. Additionally, I haven't had a correct order in over a month. Today I was missing my side scoop of pimento cheese and had the coldest soup of my life, last time tomatoes on my sandwich which I requested removed, the time before no crackers with my side scoop... and the list goes on. This location needs to be more diligent filling orders, and more careful with food safety. It's disappointing to see it's done downhill recently, it was such an awesome quality before. read more

I will never be back, I got a very rude call from the manager threatening to call the police on me saying I skipped the tab. I thought I had paid but apparently the scanner didn't take my card. I told her if there was a mistake I would happily pay since the tab was like $10.00, I gave her my card info and everything was fine. Double check your delivery order before they leave. The ''manager' delivered the orders this morning and the order was incomplete. I used EZ Cater for the order which I'll never do again. Their customer service is horrible and slow to respond. What's the point in requesting and paying for delivery when you have to go out to get the missing items. Very frustrating. laurens lemon basil is delicious! the building's sign isnt lit so they look closed when they are still open, i think they start closing procedures too early. i have thought they were closed a couple times and not gone because of it, to later find out they are open till 8pm. but you better believe ill keep coming back for the lemon basil. read more

Just had lunch here, it was incredible!! Veronica the GM, greeted us at the front and was as helpful and sweet as can be and explained how everything worked being as it was our first time in. My wife and I both had sandwiches, mine was made with Olivias Old South and my wife's Buffalo Barclay. Both were delicious and made to perfection! The Olivias Old South is more traditional where as the Buffalo Barclay has a little kick! We will definitely be coming back! Side note: The sugar cookies are to die for!! Love trying new places. The options are impressive. I went for the soup and was so curious about all the options I got two meals and made a sampler Buffett for my family. The fresh roasted chickens they use to make the salads with makes it feel like Grannie made it herself. I got some out of the norm flavors because the popular flavors were already sold out at 3:00 on a Saturday. I ordered 2 of the Trio's 1st one with Egg Salad, Pimento Cheese and Lauryn's Lemon Basil Salad 2nd one with Chicken artichoke Florentine soup, Sassy Scotty & Olivia's Old South. I realized after I ordered "scoops" that my son will want his on a croissant, so the threw one in on the side. He was able to make a 2-Flavor croissant Sassy Scotty was my favorite! I will be buying that and doing Tortilla Pinwheels with it for a pot luck coming up. Soup: VERY Delicious! It was not a combination of flavors I've had tried before, I lived it very much. I wasn't sure when this place opened whether I would like it or not. WOW I can't wait to return!! I came on a Saturday for lunch and seriously wanted to eat it for dinner. On Sunday I really wanted it again for lunch (seriously it's that good) but sadly they're closed. The interior is super cute and welcoming. Definitely more of a place for women so husbands and boyfriends take note, if you love your girl take her here and score extra points for dining in! There are even photos of Burleson and Fort Worth (including TCU!) on the walls which I love. There's some outdoor seating and a drive-thru. That's going to get me into trouble They also have prepackaged chicken salad you can grab to take home with you of all flavors. Perfect snack to grab and take to Lost Oak Winery down the street! The food: I had the Jalapeño Holly, just a scoop (you can get it as a sandwich too with the grape salad. I loved the chicken salad although had a hard time cutting and eating the piece of lettuce it was on with just a fork. It also came with crackers and a cookie which I didn't know about until I received my plate. Next time I will do without the brown sugar on top of the grape salad. My mom had the Fancy Nancy (apples, grapes and pecans). While it was good overall, her chicken salad contained just 1 piece of apple and 1 grape which is very disappointing. There should have been pieces of apple and grapes throughout otherwise it's just plain chicken salad. She chose the broccoli salad and wow it was fantastic! I had two people in-front of me in the drive through when I arrived. I sat for 20 min, when I finally got up to the menu they told me to wait. Then I waited another 5-10 min. I wasn't overly impressed with the food here. The chicken salad is just 'ok'. In general, everything is very bland. The bread was a complete disappointment. No taste at all and I don't know how you get soft toast, but it was very soft with zero crunch factor. The bacon was undercooked, mostly fat and very floppy. Not the 'crispy' bacon they advertise on the menu. The lettuce was floppy, the tomatoes were soggy, and the whole sandwich, while pretty to look at, was a huge disappointment. I got the Fancy Nancy chicken salad and I had exactly 2 small grapes and 2 small pieces of apple. Nothing fancy there. It was better on the crackers, but everything we ate was in desperate need of seasoning. The best thing was the soup and the cookie. The egg salad was ok, but again, nothing had even a hint of salt, pepper, or anything else to add flavor. Even the cookie didn't have much flavor, just very sweet. I love the chicken salad here but why in the heck are you ALWAYS out of something. EVERY SINGLE TIME ! I have been to other locations and never have had the issues that I have at this location. When I went in last Friday at lunch to grab me something to go there was a guy behind the counter his clothes were very disheveled and messy and he just rambled on and on about nothing. I had never noticed the broccoli salad before so I asked what was in it. He said that no one knew what it was that they just cut up broccoli and poured this sauce over it called broccoli sauce???? So I ordered to go sandwich and he goes to the back to get it and comes out throwing the to go container up in the air like a child. So when I get home I have broccoli salad all over my croissant sandwich. I also bought spicy pimento cheese to take home for later. When I open it that evening it was full of water???? Burleson is known for its small town places, and the fact that this is a chain, had me hesitant. I received a free scoop coupon in the mail though, so I thought I'd give the new place a try. Upon arrival at 1:15pm, there was no parking, and the drive through line was crazy. We parked next door at CVS, and it was almost as close as their own parking. The drive through was going quick, so even a long line probably wasn't an inconvenience. We walked in and even though it was busy, there was plenty places to sit, the line was short, and the lady taking my order was friendly and knowledgeable. The food. Wow! I ordered the Fancy Nancy (chicken salad with fruit mixed in), and loved it! Creamy, not too salty or sweet, and just the right amount of fruit. Even my picky eater teenage boy sampled it and loved it. I also purchased a cup of the Tomato Bisque. Not the best I've had, but definitely the best I've had in Burleson area. The chicken salad also came with a pickle spear, some crackers, and a little cookie. It became the perfect lunch! I will definitely be back. Where do I even start? If I could give this place a negative star, I would. Typically, I don't write bad reviews but this has to be written. You would think ordering through the drive-thru would be a simple task... think again. The lady that took my order did not even know the correct menu options and confused me from the start. All I wanted was a Kelli Chicken Salad with a cup of cheddar broccoli soup..... After getting home and opening up the worlds saddest to-go container, I noticed one little pickle in there and my sandwich I ordered. First bite into the sandwich and I thought I was gonna lose a tooth. Chicken was tough as a rock and seemed to be marinated in water (zero flavor). I was completely famished so I tried to power through it and I just couldn't. Gave up. Moved onto the broccoli soup. I thought, surely you can't mess this up. Well once again I was wrong. The soup tasted like someone lit a boot on fire and stuck it in the pot for 4 hours to cook. I honestly would've rather been slapped in the face with a Goodyear than have taken one little measly bite of that horrid meal. I truly am floored about how bad this food was. It was my first time eating here since it opened a couple days ago. I had lunch with two of my friends. Parking was a little challenging, but that's expected if you go during lunch time. The line didn't take long though. They have menus available when you walk in and there is also a huge menu above the registers. Once you order they give you a number if you plan on dining in and you get to sit anywhere inside or outside. The drinks are self serve, lemonade, sweet/unsweetened tea, and soda. I really enjoyed my time there. The employees were fantastic and the general manager, DeMarcus, introduced himself. I can't wait to go back again and try everything else on the menu. I was feeling savory so I had Lauryn's lemon basil chicken salad. So good! I even heard their cheesecakes vary from time to time.
