First time at Burleson Brunch House for breakfast. They were really busy on a Saturday morning, but I was seated immediately. It took a bit for service so I was going to lower the stars...but the server didn't know I was at her table and she was so pleasant, I bumped the stars back up. The coffee is pretty good. I ordered a Belgian waffle with pecans and a side of bacon. The waffle was loaded with pecans - YUM!! It was crispy on the outside and softer in the middle...my favorite! Back in the building again! We met this morning for a workout and this was our way to replenish our bodies with some good nutrients. We arrived pretty close to opening and were sat almost immediately. But please be warned it gets pretty crowded on the weekend so be prepared for a wait if you go after 10am. The place is bright and airy with plenty of seating. Tons of parking too but it can get a bit difficult since it's attached to a few other businesses but it should be fine. I am pretty familiar with the menu and already knew what I wanted before arriving. This is one of best places to get corned beef hash and they never disappoint. Once it arrived to the table, it had a nice crust to it from being prepared on the grill. Perfection! It comes with 2 eggs prepared your way and I went with over easy. You also have the option of a few sides and I went with grits and a pancake. Y'all they make some of the creamiest grits and they normally sell out before closing! The pancake is huge and fills up medium sized plate. So yummy! I normally post pics but I was hungry so maybe next time. Just trust me, the food is plentiful (especially the skillets) so get yourself here quick! read more

Start, young hostess has a very unwelcoming demeanor. Our waitress kept asking if we were ready...literally every minute, which felt a bit rushed. I ordered the avocado toast, and my husband ordered a skillet with seasoned rosemary potatoes. My avocado toast arrived as a soggy piece of bread (toast should have a toasty crunch) topped with thick slices of tomato and whole sliced onions unseparated, along with the egg whites. The presentation was unappealing, and they had forgotten my avocado on AVOCADO TOAST LOL. When the avocado arrived, it was thick sliced and not ripe (still hard), which left me to assemble my own toast on already falling-apart bread. The flavor was bland and disappointing. I love avocado toast, but this place definitely doesn't know how to make it. My husband's skillet wasn't much better, the only thing with noticeable seasoning was the potatoes; everything else lacked flavor. He soaked it in ketchup to eat it. We're willing to give this place one more try to see if other menu items live up to the online photos. But if our next visit isn't better, it's unlikely we'll return. Cute place and close to my home, I really expected to be wowed based on the reviews and photos. Sadly, it wasn't a good experience for us. Maybe next time!!! read more

Things are still as cute as before and today was a little busier than last time but the service was still amazing! This was really good food. I want to go back so bad but I don't live anywhere close to this place. Service was a bit on the slow side but they were very busy as it was right after church on Sunday so I don't fault them for that. When we did have someone come over, they were very nice and got us whatever we needed. The ambiance was simple. Husband and I took my parents out to this restaurant for some breakfast and it was great. The coffee is great not too strong not to weak, I had the house combo and the pancakes, eggs and bacon were delicious. My husband got the skillet it was a bit smaller than what he thought it would be but it was very tasty with all the meats and potatoes. My dad got the migas that weren't what he expected but according to him they were okay. My mom got the two egg breakfast and it was delicious. The service was fast and friendly we went on a Saturday morning and we didn't have to wait long to be seated or served. I really enjoyed the family environment it was a great start to our day! The Brunch House is alright. I just posted the only current menu you'll find. Even the one on their website is not current. Perhaps they have AI in charge of the website, and the menu. On the menu 'giardiniera' was spelled 'jiardiniera'. And I suppose Juanita is spelled 'Wonita'. No complaints about the food. It's edible, good. I like the coffee. Nice place. No senior menu, maybe because too many patrons are seniors. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. We'll eat there again. read more

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. We finally made it on a Saturday morning. Although it was crowded we had a very short wait because the restaurant has a good amount of seating. Once we were seated our waitress came over. We ordered our drinks and the waitress gave us recommendations on the menu since it was our first time. I got the Summer skillet and a pancake. Overall the skillet was good, the ingredients were fresh and it was a nice sized portion. But it was missing something, it needed more cheese or a sauce or something. The pancake was perfect though. Our group of 16 ladies from church met up at Burleson Brunch House on Saturday morning, and it was such a great experience. One of our leaders arrived early to get a table started, and by 10am everything was ready for us--no small task for a group that size! The service was fantastic. Multiple staff members helped take care of us, and every single order came out correct, even with separate checks. The food was delicious, the coffee was just right, and the whole morning had a relaxed, welcoming feel. We've met here several times now, and it's always consistently good. So thankful for the way they take care of us each time--with great service, great food, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend! read more

I went to this spot at 8am this morning. I'm an African American male and when I walked in everyone was seated to the left and they sat me to the right where no was over there. I didn't think much of it but then a table of 2 came in and they sat them to the left. 3 more parties of 2 came while I was there for 30 mins and all are sat to the left of the entrance. I ordered eggs, sausage and substituted stuffed crepes with fruit on top. Had to send back since they didn't make them correctly. Very frustrated with this establishment. We got the Gyro bowl and sausage gravy bowl and they were interesting. The gravy was super sweet rather than savory. the eggs, potatoes, etc that were in the bowl were overwhelmed with the sweetness of it. The gyro meat was soggy and unique. Not all pieces, but the majority. I think that was partial to my decision making.. but if it's on the menu I figured it ought to be great. The pancakes on the side were delicious. Our waitress was absolutely rude. We said thank you, we were polite as we could be, we tried to talk and be friendly, and she was brutal. Awful. She also tabbed us out 25 minutes before we were ready. So when we got our bill, it was $44 and they ended up charging $56 or so. I'll be the first to say, we did order an extra mimosa before we left so we have no issue in paying for it inevitably, but, I don't know what the rush was and why she did this. She didn't make us aware, so when we asked the ladies up front, they said "Oh yeah your server told us to add a charge but she didn't tell us what for." So at this point i'm angry and our server came up to us and freaked out. Telling us that we decided what tip we gave her and we could've looked over the bill, got loud and snappy. Eventually getting choked up on her words because she got caught and got called out for being rude. Burleson Brunch House has reliably good food and service. The weekends can be busy during standard brunch hours but even when we have had to wait to be seated it has not been a long wait. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable with plenty of menu items to satisfy the entire family's brunch preferences from sweet to savory. My favorite go to orders are the Migas and the Strawberry Crepes with Cream Cheese filling. The migas are not over seasoned like some places and I love the crunchy tortilla chips that come with. The crepes are not too sweet and I love the fresh berries. I typically can only eat 2 of the 3 crepes and end up taking one home for later. Not a fan of their grits...not salted and mushy. The skillets are generous portions for those with a hearty appetite. Breakfast Tacos will fill you up nicely. Definitely a favorite brunch place for our family. read more

The Nutella crepe was good and as you'd expect for a crepe and nutella/banana. The cream gravy? I can't figure it out but it was very garlicky and had crushed black pepper in it. I've been to the brunch house three times. The first time I visited it, it was very good and on point. The second time just like everything the prices had gone up and the place looked run down and the service was just okay. The last time I went the place looked kinda dirty and the food was nothing to brag about. Cold gravy, flat cold biscuits, burnt bacon, coffee was just not drinkable. Grits extra watery. This restaurant was just average. The specialty dishes mentioned by other diners, especially Crab Eggs Benedict (which I had intended to order) cost $18.99. This cost is way out of line for a breakfast item. The other items were in the range of $12.00 to $13.00. I refuse to pay that price and ended up offering a Gyro sandwich. My husband ordered a Veggie Skillet which he said tasted odd, as if one or more of the vegetables were no longer fresh. So all in all our experience was not special or celebratory. It was cooked properly, but set upon an English muffin that was toasted much too long and made it difficult to cut & chew. My spouse had 1/2-Rubin sandwich; a bit dry and over toasted, producing the same tough cut & chew. We'll try again and hope that the bread is more accommodating or we will not return. read more
