It's very rare that I'm up and out and about early in the morning. I do enjoy breakfasts. It's my favorite meal of the day so I was reminded about first watch and decided to treat myself. I was near the area and I went on Yelp to find out where the nearest first watch was at and headed over there. The staff were really nice. My server was a little slow. She didn't come to my table right away but when she did, she already knew that I knew my order so she placed my order. Once the meal came out she never checked up on me, which is fine. I finished my meal and then she noticed I was done. She gave my check. that was pretty much it easy Peezy the meal was good. Every First Watch we go to, we know we can expect the same great food with the same great service. This location was no different. It's nice and open, seating is usually quick (unless you go during high traffic times like Sunday Brunch - then be prepared to wait), and the food was hot and fresh when it came out. The mocha was very sweet , wish it had more of coffee taste cuz it was to caramelized , nonetheless I drank it all. I guess the adage is true, "the third time is the charm." Celebrated my wife's birthday and the wait time was in the door and seated. The server Alyssa was very charming. Food is good. Eggs Benedict: The poached eggs were very good except for the ciabatta bread. It is too hard compared to the traditional English Muffins. Difficult to cut which ruins the aesthetics of the dish. Stick with the English Muffins. Juice is a bad choice of Kale vs Tomato Juice. Since when?. First Watch is always a good choice for breakfast/brunch. We always come here in large groups and they are super accommodating to us. Service is fast and attentive. Staff is very friendly and willing to provide great service. Food here is very good and prices are competitive. I very often get the club sandwich and is very good. The avocado toast is also one of our favorite options from here... lots of avocado, creamy and luscious. Perfectly cooked eggs makes it even better. The meals are too pricey to not be perfection. I always enjoy First Watch! This was my first time to this location. The hostess was so incredibly nice. Made checking in very easy and smooth. Only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Once we were seated, our waiter greeted us. We placed our food order in. I got the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast- gotta love fall! The pancakes were delicious. The only thing was about three minutes after we got our food, our waiter gave us the check. Not sure why you'd give someone their check so quickly- luckily we didn't want anything else. I should have known how our experience was going to go after waiting 10 mins for a drink order being 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant. The server looked disappointed that we didn't order coffee. I was brought out my 2 pancake order (one of which was wrong) on two separate plates. One with butter and one with powdered sugar. Plating was questionable, food was mid. Born and bread in the hospitality business, I am turned off at the service style and the lack of empathy for my hungry stomach. Servers leave pitchers of water at tables and I was told we can use the QR code on the check to pay and yet they a expect 20% tip. Upon leaving the host did not say goodbye or even acknowledge us. While seated closest to kitchen and servers area, we could here a waitress trash on a customer because she didn't like how she ordered her potatoes. I arrived at first watch about quarter to 9:00 this morning. It took another 25 minutes for them to ask me what I wanted to drink after seating me right away. There were 10 employees that I counted in the back kitchen. I was very hungry when I got there and by this time I was on the verge of hangry. It took another 20 minutes to get two carrot cake and pecan pancakes without powdered sugar. It was very disappointing I'm glad I had nowhere to be. Maybe a quarter of the seats were filled with customers when I walked in. There was even one customer who left after ordering because it took so long to get his meal. I know these are seasoned employees. Since I've been there many times at many first watches. Apparently there was some delay in the kitchen because the overall feel the place is everybody was waiting for their orders. Come on guys get your act together it was just disappointing. read more
