The flurry of activity behind the counter was impressive. Messy, but fast. The plates of food were going out at a staggering pace that was impressive to watch. The food, pretty good. The waffle was crisp but chewy. The blueberries were okay but didn't really add to the waffle. The chili hash was meaty and crispy, cooked hard but still had a good texture. It's not great food, it's good food done quick abd realatively cheap. You don't go here for gourmet, you go here for the well done basic fare. For my first try, it was good enough. Worth a try if you want a good waffle or just want something late at night

This place has a very eclectic clientele. You will see all types of people at this establishment. My wife refuses to eat here because she is fearful of getting shanked. I try to convince her that the waffles are worth the risk of bodily harm. But she disagrees. And she is semi brave, she once ate at a restaurant in Winter Haven ! But despite the lady sitting directly in my field of vision that sneezed and snot dripped down her face and chin (yes, that really happened ), This place can rock a delicious breakfast meal! Good job Waffle House!

We've been coming here for the better part of 10 years. Seriously, this place is fantastic. Today we came in just after the lunch rush. And what makes me write a review after all this time is because The Reuben has been added to their sandwich lineup. I am a sucker for a good Reuben. I love some of the various versions out there like a Grouper Reuben or a Turkey Reuben but there is nothing like an original. The bread is their marble rye which was already freakin fantastic; patty melts are phenomenal here. The ratio of corned beef and sauerkraut was spot on perfect. Don't you just hate it when it's out of balance? The cheese was perfectly melted and the dressing was oh so good. It was sandwich heaven. My apologies for having no pictures. I don't know if I was especially hungry today or what, but when the food hit the table the hubs and I dove straight in.

We finally got a table to share with other people. My Mom and my older brother Bill ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage. They said the Corned Beef was pretty good, but the Cabbage was tough and not good. My brother Jonathan ordered the Pancake special with sausage and home fries. They didn't warn him that the pancakes would be green, lol. We thought it was pretty funny, but he said they didn't taste that good. He loved the rest of his breakfast. I had the French toast and bacon with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. I loved the French toast and bacon, but didn't like the hashbrowns and eggs. It was really hit or miss. The restaurant didn't seem very clean either. We had fun anyway.

Believed to be a "Scratch Kitchen", this amazing find has a menu that I find myself excited about returning to try. We ordered a drink and an order of the Frescos Egg Rolls. The drink was spot on and the Egg Rolls amazing. We opted not to order a main course due to eating just a couple hours prior but I knew right then and there that I'd be back to try other selections from the menu. Pricing seems to be below average with "happy hour" pricing at specified times daily. Highly Recommended!

Appetizer of fried green tomatoes was marred by slices of tomato that were so thick that the knives on the table were incapable of cutting them. This same issue carried over to the green tomato blt, which was almost impossible to eat bc of bread that was also too thick. The bacon was so overcooked as to be dry sticks that shattered into tiny bits when you tried to eat the sandwich. The fries were allegedly hand cut, but looked & tasted like (cold) seasoned frozen steak fries. The FSKB chicken salad croissant was just a soggy mess. And the eggs Benedict featured "Canadian Bacon", which is a US marketing term for round slices of bacon, not Back Bacon or Peameal Bacon that is actually served in Canada. Overpriced & not worth a second try.

Service was also slow, especially considering we only ordered a simple breakfast. The highlight of the visit was definitely the atmosphere. Sitting outside and watching the planes take off and land made for a unique and enjoyable experience. Overall, if you're already in the area or enjoy watching airplanes, it's worth stopping by for the view. However, I wouldn't recommend making a special trip just for the food, as there are better breakfast options elsewhere.

I got there before 10:00, which is when breakfast stops being served. However, by the time the server finally acknowledged me, it was after 10:00 and she said it was the lunch menu now. Really? After she kept me waiting so long it missed out?!?!? Thankfully there was another person there who said I could order breakfast. The food came in a to go container, not sure why, and when they asked if I wanted it to go, and I said no, they took it back to the kitchen where it felt like they just dumped it onto a plate and brought it back out. Interesting. After listening to the conversation going on, apparently the owners had fired everyone and brought in an all new crew. I had the second person she my server was brand new, so that might account for some of the concerns I had. If I go back, it won't be for a few months to let everyone get their legs under them and maybe things will change?
