This location is actually in Donna and I wanted to make sure I reviewed it. The concept is new to me and I really enjoyed it. It's a chicken salad style salads sandwich shop. Very fresh and tons of choices. They offer lots of flavors on chicken salad and soups. I did sample a few flavors and finally picked. You have to give them a try. You won't be disappointed. This is about the chicken salad factory in Donna Tx. I had visited it during the weekend only to find out it was closed weekends nd not opened Mon- fri. My wife wanted something light for lunch so I suggested we try the chicken salad factory in Donna. The staff Ed helpful and friendly I ordered the scoop salad which comes with 2 scoops of your choice of chicken salad choice of spinach, or greens one mix of both and saltines or jalapeño cornbread muffins I selected the signature factory chicken salad and creamy cilantro avocado chicken salad with a mixture of both greens and spinach along with some saltines they scoops were quite small just a little bigger than a melon scooper and was given just. Full scoop of each the signature factory tasted like an average chicken salad nothing special while the creamy cilantro avocado had more avocado and bland chicken taste to it than anything i couldn't taste any cilantro and it needs to be seasoned my wife ordered a famous Waldorf chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread but I don't know how that ended up for her as we picked up and I brought mine home and she had hers at work. Not sure if I would return because the portions are kind of a Let down compared to other similar restaurants in the area and the food was not as flavorful Ias I expected it to be. read more

I was so disappointed by the chicken salad selections. They didn't have anything that was just plain chicken salad, and everything was either spicy, with fruit, or with unusual flavors. Prices were outrageous and there wasn't a very large variety of salad options. I keep trying to make this place happen for me, but I do not like it at all. Nice little food spot! Order the a large container of the Signature Waldorf chicken salad. Two of the most noticeable ingredients were raisins and walnuts. I'm not one for raisins in chicken salad but this recipe blends them in well with the flavor along with the walnuts. Probably the best chicken salad I've had.
