I'm so excited that a Firehouse Subs has opened up near my grandparents' house! They are 1000x better than Subway and not even in the same category as Quiznos. Their selection is superb - whether it be from the classic deli ham & cheese to their more distinctive take on a Philly cheese steak. When it comes to sandwiches, I prefer a lighter bread and more fillings. The Turkey & Cranberry is phenomenal as is their Hook & Ladder. They'll do any sandwich to your specifications, and I know friends who have a perfected order at Firehouse Subs. The interior of this location is very spacious and clean. The staff is super friendly and they give a discount to members of the military and armed forces. If you are needing a nice place to grab a quick lunch, then Firehouse Subs is your place. read more

Sadly one of THOSE pricey places where the actual product completely fails to match the advertising (see pics). Gave them 2 chances and the second was better but still lacking. Oh well Better off going to McAlister or Schlotzky where what you see on the menu is what you get because they don't skimp! Also they aren't particularly friendly here. Went on Saturday the 05/30/26 and ordered 2 turkey sub sandwiches and of course they messed my order up because I wanted my 6 inch turkey on wheat and I even left a tip and I got home that's when I noticed. We pay a lot for our food and expect good service! Maybe that need to do do less talking and concentrate on their work . Customer service is great. Super cute redhead with tattoos that helped us. I haven't been to a firehouse in 15 years when I was in college. The selection of toppings and signature sandwiches trumps any other sub places. Combo for 8" sub was $9 with chips and any sized drink. I got club on a sub. Capt got Jamaican jerk turkey. It might be superfluous to review a chain eatery but nevertheless I shall attempt it. It was our first time and we all thought it was very good. The subs were very tasty. The meat was good quality and the bread is far better than what subway offers. Our son loved the meatball sub, and at $3.99 the kids meal is a good deal. The service was speedy so it makes for a good weekday lunch spot. Overall it's a great lunch option, good food, good service, fair price. We would happily eat here again. Usually never write bad reviews but what happened at this location is unacceptable. Overall firehouse is a really good sandwich place. Best in the valley in my opinion. But at this location I write this review while I'm still waiting. It's been about 25 mins that I've been waiting and still ticking. They weren't over busy so no excuse. Very tasty and lots of different subs including various sizes. I like putting all the veggies on the melts. They also have several hot sauces to choose from. The staff was very helpful. And FYI they have kids portions, however I think it's better to buy a large and cut in half if you have older children. read more

Great place, the chicken sandwich is my favorite, it comes with plenty of chicken, tomatoes and cheese, you can ask for the bread to be extra toasty which I love! They make their own tea, make sure you try it, it's so refreshing but a bit too sweet, I add a bit of unsweetened tea so it balances it out. And if you have a weakness for brownies, try theirs, they're moist and chewy, pure joy! Also, the staff is really friendly and welcoming. Way way way better than subway and Quiznos!!!!! read more

The subs from Firehouse are extremely fresh and tasty! I ordered a Engineering Sub. It came with turkey, which they put a large amount, unlike Subway. The turkey was plentiful and extremely moist. My first ever experience at this business was amazing! I walked in with my boyfriend and right off the bat, the cashier asked us if it was our first time there and then proceeded to explain the menu to us. It was incredibly helpful and she was so sweet and patient as she was taking our order. I ended up getting the Swiss cheese and mushrooms sub combo which comes in a medium (6 in. sub) or large (foot-long), with a drink, and your choice of chips. They give you a number and you go seat yourself. The tables are set up really close together and it felt a little cramped. Luckily, we beat the rush and seating wasn't a big issue. We were admiring all of the cool firemen memorabilia throughout the store and the great big mural depicting an Edinburg Fire Department fire truck. The atmosphere keeps you distracted until your food arrives. Our combos were served in a red sandwich basket with a deli pickle on the side. Although I initially enjoyed my sub, I felt that it was lacking some seasoning or some type of sauce. Despite that, I it was all good. Especially when during our meal, the cashier who attended us even came up to us and asked if everything was okay. I wasn't expecting it but to me, it shows that the business cares about its patrons. The worst customer service I've received in the valley. After a long trip away we decided to stop here for dinner before our last stint home. Had to wait for the cashier to get off the phone and once we ordered our food we came to realize that their drink machine was broken. The cashier couldn't have told us that before ordering?? My toddler asked for water and when I asked if they had water the cashier said I would have to wait for the machine to start working again. No offer to get my son a simple glass of water. So as I stood waiting for my food the sandwich preppers were smirking and laughing as patrons continued to come in asking for food and not knowing the drink machine was broken. And still no one telling patrons of this fact. They seemed more concerned with customers leaving and concerned with getting off work than customer service. So, the drink machine began working again for a time and as the line began to form to get drinks, then it stops working again. So they finally decide to give some of their drinks they could've originally offered to their patrons from a side fridge. And to top it off, they got my order wrong. I understand it's late, however business and customer service should exist no matter what the hour. Will not be returning here. read more

I've only eaten here once, but my "engineer sub" was delicious. And, size large really means large. For about a dollar more than Subway, you get way more and tastier food. My daughter was with me and got the kids meatball sub. The fire hat that comes with the kids meals is super cute and it's a decent amount of food for the price.
