I finally got a chance to try the chicken shack and I'm so happy that I did, I'm seriously never going anywhere else for chicken again this place puts kfc to shame! We called for takeout and the man who answered the phone was very pleasant and polite, they also were able to have our order which was pretty big ready in 10 minutes so they definitely get an a+ for customer service. Now on to the food...it was AMAZING!! I got the 2 piece meal with bbq beans and macaroni and cheese, the chicken was seasoned perfectly, and the sides were delicious, it also came with cornbread that was really good too but it needed a little bit of honey and butter. My boyfriend got the same meal but with greens and mashed potatoes and he was also very impressed with his meal. My sister in law got the waffle bites which are little pieces of chicken fried in waffle batter served with syrup...omg soo good, who would have thought? Lol!! The portions were also huge we were all stuffed before we could even finish our meals! I really have no complaints at all about this place and I'll definitely be back soon! read more

I have heard about the chicken shack for a while now. Last week my wife and I were in beaver falls and I just had to stop to see what all the hype was surrounding this place. What I heard didn't give this place justice. It is some of the best chicken I've ever had. If you ever get in the mood for fried chicken do your taste buds a favor. Not only is the chicken great but the sweet potato pie was amazing. The food is great and the service is even better. If I could give it more stars I would!! read more

Food was DISGUSTING to say the least. I ordered from DoorDash and it came quickly but it's was foul. I ordered the chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese and 2 wings (to try). Immediately upon opening the bag of food, there was a curry smell and it stunk. The chicken nuggets were rubbery, the Mac & cheese were runny, as were the mashed potatoes. The wings were soggy and had no flavor. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here ever. read more

Totally legitimate fried chicken. Had the collared greens and mac n' cheese, and the sides came close to overshadowing the main course (but not quite). The bottled drinks were also a good price: total price for dinner was around 8 bucks. Will definitely return when I am in the area. read more

Tired of being "cooped up" in North Carolina, so we headed back to Beaver County! Decided to give The Chicken Shack a try! Wanted to support a local establishment. Lets just say that NC now sounds for No Chicken in the south tastes this good!! We loved everything we got (Dark and light, slaw, green beans, mashed potatoes, and corn bread)! We've added this to the list of local MUST stops when we come back HOME, (HDS, Jerry's, D&G, and now The Chicken Shack). Ignore any negative comments. My husband and I kept avoiding this place because of what it looked like on the outside. We decided to give it a try, getting tired of the usual. We were the only ones that missed out by avoiding the MS Chicken Shack! They're food was extremely fresh, made to order and unique. We both had the Waffle Chicken and Mac & Cheese. I was a little skeptical on waffle chicken, but it is seriously to die for. I wish they had more of a sauce selection, but I can overlook it since they're food is so good :) If you're getting your meal to go, I would call and place your order, just to save time on waiting. read more

I've heard the rumors and decided to check for myself, beings that I consider myself a chicken expert. At first the smell engulfs your senses, then your greeted by a very nice gentleman knowledgeable of his craft. Like any true perfectionist their menu is small but worthy of its size. We ordered and while waiting a free sample thigh was brought out to us. I was mesmerized with the first bite, seasoned to perfection, juicy beyond compare, and not overly breaded like some other places that I won't name. Once I ate my breast and wing I knew I was hooked for life. I honestly believe that these were the finest pieces of chicken I've ever ate. I've tried chicken from Paula Deen's in Savannah, broasted, fried, baked, grilled and smoked. This is the winner by far, hands down! read more

For a city that has a college right near by, there don't seem to be many good fast casual places to eat in Beaver Falls, so when I was in the mood for fried chicken, I was quite intrigued to see a Google rave review pop up for this place making it sound like God had just leaned down Sistine Chapel Ceiling style and handed the writer a drumstick. Decided to check it out and whaddya know, he was right. Everything here is so good and reasonably priced. The chicken is not deep fried but is breaded more like upscale Shake n' Bake, and unlike most places that do it that way, said chicken is not bland but is very tasty and good. Mac and cheese was excellent, even in this day and age when every single restaurant has rediscovered mac n' cheese (and most of them are not excellent). Baked beans were nice and smokey. Sweet potato pie was awesome - again unlike most places that churn out bland sweet potato pie, this place actually puts some spices in it. Beaver Falls is not a place I expected to see a soul food place opening up but man am I ever glad it did. The restaurant is even nice and cozy to eat in if you want to, although we didn't have time. Lady running the place was super nice and friendly and even ran after me when I forgot my pie (you didn't have to do that ma'am, but when I tasted the pie I was glad you did!) My only complaint is that I live a few hours away so I can't go back every week. read more

Small space on the Main Street of Beaver Falls. The staff was friendly and recommended everything. It was suggested by the staff that you place the order ahead of time since they make everything to order. It took about 10-15 minutes for the food but if it was busy, I could definitely see it taking longer. I ordered the light chicken dinner with Mac n cheese and baked beans. I also tried the chicken waffle bites. My only complaint is that there was no real hot sauce, just these flavorless packets. read more

Good chicken and delicious greens! Everything homemade. Husband and I both had the dinners- his lite, mine dark. They come with 2 sides. There was plenty of food. The people working there were so nice (the owners?) and even gave us our choice of a free piece of homemade dessert. We took the german chocolate cheesecake. Really tasty. Altogether was about $14.
