Great for solo (like I did) outing, couples, friends or family. I had the best time doing the string art. You're free to bring your own snacks, drinks and adult beverages. They offer planting succulents or string art. I did the string art and you pick out your own designs and wood stains. I overheard the succulents and they got to pick out the sizes and bowl. Jade is AMAZING! Super personable and nice. She greeted me and continued to check in with me throughout. She answered all of my questions, encouraged me, and complimented my work along the way. Afterwards she even took on the role of my photographer and took some pics of me. I found this place on Groupon and saved a good bit of money. You still had to pay an additional fee for the supplies. But with thr use of the Groupon it was still worth it. The string art selection is all around of the walls to select from and each designs are labeled according to difficulty. I did a level 1 and that was challenging enough with out it being too intricate. You get the board, the paper stencil of your art, nails and hammer and you have to hammer in the nails to create your pattern of your design. They give you ploers to avoid hammering your fingers! Lol. Fer you get your design nailed out they instruct you on how to weave the string and off you go. They have a wall full of string and different colors so let your creativity fly. They played music throughout- nice r&b. The bathroom was clean. I had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

It's spooky season so my friend and I decided to drop in and get crafty. You have the option to either make a succulent terrarium or string art. My friend and I chose string art. There are sample designs that are hung on the walls and on the shelves, all around for you to select from. Each design has a number labeled to represent the difficulty level (1 being the easiest). You're allowed to choose whichever color thread your heart desires. My friend and I chose a level 2 design, which was much more difficult and took longer to complete than we expected. Our session was scheduled for two hours, but the staff allowed us to stay a few hours longer to finish up our masterpieces. Jada was very friendly and remarkably helpful. My overall experience was incredible. We had lots of fun and will definitely be back! Also, don't forget to BYOB and snacks! Note: this was our first time creating string art. :)

This was such a fun experience. We purchased a Groupon and was able to save about $15 by doing that, we made succulent terrariums and the instructor was very helpful throughout the whole class in making these. The space was big enough if you wanted to host a party and do this. It is BYOB and everything else like tools, kit, succulents are at the event for you to use for your terrariums.

I had so much fun i visited every saturday in the moth of Feb. Sara (sarah) was awesome. She was a helper as well as a leader of the classes. The other workers were great as well. The music they played was awesome and the instructions were easy to follow. They give you so many choices of plants and containers as well as choices of string art design and string color. Each person working there was very energetic and patient and kind. These ladies rock! They made the experience fun and enjoyable. I will be back because I need more artwork in my home. Thanks again. and dont forget to bring a snack and something to drink. You wont regret this experience.

Okay! So my gf decided to include this as part of our Valentine's Day weekend events. Two options for this place: Build a Terrarium or create string art. There were four things that were a fail for me. 1. Do not use Waze to get here, it will take you to the wrong place. Thankfully we were only 10 minutes away from the actual location, but still. That leads me to 2. No one answers the phone, and they are VERY slow to text back. 3. Pricing. Their website says $45, but they also charge an additional $10 for materials and $4.40 for taxes, so essentially $60. Word to the wise, check Groupon, but even then the discount is not the match. So when all is said and done you are looking at around $100 for two people. 4. They don't provide the sips, you have to bring your own and at that amount, I feel they should provide some beverages. Now I know I just listed 4 negatives and you are probably asking yourself why I am giving it 4 stars, well the reason why is because is is fun! The instructor was really kind and informative. She made it a very memorable experience, and even when my gf accidently broke her glass by picking it up from the top, which you are NOT supposed to do, she was very helpful making sure that she was okay before working to clean up. The whole did not take long, maybe an hour if even, but it was really cool to take the plants and create a unique space for it. I've been working to let my internal creativity out, and this definitely was a wonderful was to do that. While I would not be back, really one of those one time hit it and quite it type things, I would definitely recommend doing it at least once, I do not think you will be disappointed!

Fun activity for sure! We went for a girls day, there were 6 of us (including my 6 yr old granddaughter who did her own!). The hosts were fun and played great music while we made our creations. They also lead the activity and give helpful tips to make your own design. Parking is decent and there is a cute coffee truck outside where you can grab a nice snack and cuban coffee. We plan on returning to do the pin art they offer as well.

Came to celebrate my birthday & I had fun. They're running a Groupon special so most people were there with the coupon. They do plants & sowing art. Music was booming the whole time, with a mixture of R&B / Soft Rock. You can choose from 1 large, 2 medium & 3 small units. You then get $12 worth of plants,$8 for a large & $4 for small. My party & I choose 3 small units (pics). Our Instructor walked us through everything & came by to check to make sure we were doing everything correctly. She also went through how to take care of your succulents to keep them lasting for a long time. It is BYOB which I did & we did a toast at the beginning. This is great for individuals, dates, or groups. I recommend it for any occasion even if you want something cool to do on the weekend.

Had the time of my life on my birthday! I also didn't except to make so many plants! For the price you pay it's definitely worth the money!

So I have visited this place 3 times now and everytime I do I am blown away with how amazing the staff is. They were extremely patient and helpful with the group I was with. Sara the worker was always checking in and helping out my group whenever we needed it. The entire building has a wonderful vibe and everyone is happy. I recommend going and bringing your family. They only take reservations so you'd have to book a time slot online but it is 100% worth it!!

I brought a friend to the Terrarium building class for her birthday, and it was incredibly fun! You get to choose from several options for planters, glass and metal, and you can build one large, two medium, or three small. Then you can choose your plants (one large two small or three small) out of a great variety of succulents. Different decor like rocks, gravel, and moss are available. You can BYO food and drink. I got my tickets from Groupon and would absolutely go again.

Unique experience with great staff in a fun space!! We found this place via Facebook and Groupon. They offered both string art and succulent making classes. Since we had luggage and were traveling string art made more sense for us. It was super easy to book online for our desired class and time. They had lots of design ideas in the binder. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. Hammering out the nails was a great stress reliever!! Take your anger out on some art. This idea is also great for getting two totally different art pieces, which is great for us since we take them into the same home. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She made great recommendations and really helped us to understand our projects and instructions. Overall: A++ Loved this and would do it again in a heart beat! Such a fun, unique idea and a great date night event! Don't forget the BYOB part!

Someone mentioned that this place is fool proof.. I'd say I agree with that. I'm not a super artsy, creative person so I was worried my plants wouldn't turn out as nice. That worry was not necessary at all. We came here with a Groupon so it was a very good deal. I wasn't sure what to expect at first and have never made terrariums before this. I really enjoyed my experience and would come here again for other things. You sit at all big table with other groups so you get a chance to chat and meet people too. We were only a party of 2 so it was nice to have other company. The instructors were also very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend for a date night or a friends night out. You can also BYOB too so that's a plus.

I have to say that the gal hosting the string art event was SUPERB! She even stayed late to ensure that we all finished our art pieces. I've done an event with The Sipping Plant before, and it was with succulents. This time around, we (a group of 9 girls) were doing string art. Materials are all provided. The class is around $30 per person if you get the group deal via Groupon (?). How it works: There's a booklet of patterns you can choose from. After choosing a pattern, you will be hammering nails onto that pattern atop a block of wood. Yes, it will be loud so bring ear plugs if you wish. Thereafter, choose the string colors you want for your pattern. Examples are along the wall if you need a visual of the finished product and/or colors. Now you start stringing and filling in your pattern. I chose the love birds, and that was easy enough. The class is 2 hours, but it's okay if you're a little over that time frame. If you just can't finish, you can go home with enough string to finish up. Psst. Choose the emoji's if you're wanting something super simple. They were added for the kiddos so you're guaranteed an easy time with that choice. Parking spaces were moderate. We came here at 7 PM so the only thing that seemed open was The Sipping Plant. FYI: You can bring alcohol if you choose. I'd recommend bringing cups as well.
