Jaime is by far the best bartender that took care of us and went above and beyond with his services as a bartender, the best!

We partayed at Lit for their 2024 All White Party. The location was decent(built on golf resort), the size was extra large. Upstairs and downstairs dance floor and multiple bars. Plenty of bathrooms and plenty of parking. The decor was above average and the seating was on point. The bartender upstairs knew what she was doing g on those Cosmos!!! This place could hold over 2,500 people not including the patio!

I love the vibe at this night club. Everyone is very sweet and kind. You don't have nothing to do on Friday nights this is the place to go for drinks and to dance. I know mostly everyone in here you can celebrate your birthday too or anything. There is go go dancers and at midnight there is a show.

So I recently went here and got assaulted by someone inside the bar, I called the police and the security guard acted like he didn't see anything, I went again to give it another chance and the security guard said I was banned ? For being assaulted? So confused but honestly this guy always gives everyone a hard time, he definitely makes my rating to this place low, hope they replace him soon

The name Chico is descriptive in being a small dive bar at an obscure small, dimly lit strip mall. Wednesday night at 11pm, a door man asks for $5 entry & hands you a token for a drink at the bar inside. Fair enough trade. Bar stocks hard liquor as well as beer. Inside is a down home neighborhood bar with dance floor which caters to a mainly Latino/Hispanic crowd. At the time I was there, there was an amiable, machismo atmosphere and no feeling of being treated as an outsider from the neighborhood. A gogo dancer in a strap bikini performed for our entertainment, and one of the bartenders shook my hand to welcome me. Nice small town feel and none of the typical hype & oneupsmanship found in West Hollywood. In this age of the Internet, which is forcing many bars to disappear and so many people choose to "meet on lIne" and boast about having 5,000 "friends" when in reality 99% of these "friends" are at most remote acquaintances, CHICO provides LGBT's a wonderful opportunity to meet in real time to create connections & most importantly community. Bravo! 4- Yelp stars.

Fun gay bar in an unassuming area. Love that the place isn't pretentious, the bartenders are super friendly, they offer a great happy hour until 11PM and there's drag queens at various given times during the week. The performances are later on after the midnight hour, so if you're old like us, keep that in mind so you know what you're getting yourself into! One thing to note, people don't really start showing up here until 11/1130PM. We got here a little before 10pm and it was pretty dead... good for us, because we were able to commandeer one of the only precious booth spaces. If you do want that area, you do have to make a reservation in advance, and we were moved out once the paying parties arrived - totally understandable. Music was a mix of old hip hop goodies and some contemporary pop. Even though it was getting packed, it didn't feel claustrophobic and the bouncers were cool with you stepping out front to get some air if you needed it. There's a small lot onsite, but there's plenty of street parking in the area, just watch the signs before leaving your car! Will def be back.

Felt as though I were in México, not in Distrito Federal but in a less cosmopolitan city where in the old days Straights and Gays kind of mixed together although in some bigger venues there were areas where Gays had their own corner. Redz Bar is too small for separation, and it makes it hard to determine who is who. I was there on a busy Saturday around 9pm. All the tables were taken by party goers. I stole one of the few bar stools still left. Beer & wine bar: Ordered a Michelada that is bloody mary mix from a bottle, lemon juice, worchester sauce?, Modelo Mexican beer. The lip of the huge mug is lined with a salty, not very piquant chile powder like El Tajín. It's a refreshing, savory, Umami bomb just perfect on a hot day or night. My first Michelada ever. So I look around and it seems like a regular neighborhood Latino bar. If there are any Gays they were sprinkled around and not particularly & obviously visible. The friendly bartendress offered a free plate of antojitos / snacks which consisted of a small Tamal de Puerco con Salsa de Chile Colorado, and a bowl of Bírria soup in consommé w/ a small piece of goat. To me this Bírria tasted closer to a Pozole. Very hospitable gesture by Redz to give out such a tasty mini-meal. Redz caters to an East Los Angeles clientele. It's a liitle piece of México. Music is loud with Norteño & Son Afro-Mexican music from Veracruz tonight. I felt comfortable, and a nice Latina lady sitting next to me talked in her limited English and I in limited Spanish. Nice way to experience the East Los scene. 4 stars.

The negative I have is the lack of details for the show. Perhaps I wasn't looking on the website thoroughly but there wasn't anything about show start time, brunch, etc. As it was our first time, it would've been helpful (minor negative). Also, I wasn't aware of the 18% they tack onto the bill for the brunch, but it is on their website, so a heads up. The locations itself is on the 2nd floor above the Cheese Superette and Lüstern. We weren't sure where exactly the entrance was as it can be easy to miss, but the small overhang sign for it can be see. What's more easily identifiable is the pride flag over it. We got there fairly early so killed time before. Security out front checks IDs then let's you in. And it's a short walk up a flight of stairs to get to the Precinct. Pretty decent sized space with several bar areas. The brunch spot was separate from the rest of the space with a stage in front of the video screens. The host scanned our tickets and then took us to our table which I reserved the a hightop for 2. All the tables were set for the brunch service and show. Anthony our server and who I think was also bartending took our order explaining to us that the show was sold out and that ordering early is suggested before it gets busy. We took a look at the menu and decided on the Peach Bourbon French Toast and Coco's Chilaquilles with chicken along with some much needed coffee. Anthony as well as the rest of the staff were fantastic, checking up on us and refilling our coffees and water, seeing if we needed anything else. Food was delicious, Chilaquilles were delicious, lots of chicken, chips crispy under the sauce, perfect over easy eggs alongside my side of bacon which was also cooked perfeclty. The Peach Bourbon French Toast was good as well. Large peach slices that delicous bourbon sauce over lightly fried french toast. The tots was super crispy too. Delicious. Now onto the show. It was fantastic, all the performers were exceptional, I loved how they covered every part of the brunch space really utilizing it as their performance area. At the beginning and in the middle they come around if you need change for $1's which is super helpful if you hadn't brought smaller bills for tipping the performers. Outfits were on point, the host was fantastic, singing their song, interacting with the crowd and also keeping the show moving along. They did invite birthdays to come up and lip sync for their life...well for a complimentary shot. What's not to love with Disney and drag? At the end you could go up to the performers to interact and take pictures...I'm terrible with names but they were so great. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come again!

This was the last stop in a night where Conrad and I stepped out to LA to have a good time. So by…read morethe time I got there I was tipsy. I was not falling down the stairs, nor was I slurring my words, nor was I misaligning my pool shots, but I was definetely feeling the good inside my blood. I note this, not to highlight my cool factor as if I was a frat bro in a Florida party school, but more to describe how my experience was fogged by my consumption. This place was definetely a hot spot to hit, but I just will not be able to descrbie everything with speicifc detail, more, broad strokes of a good time. The place is reached by going down a flight of stairs, which feels like one is going to catch the J line in New York. I think I felt this more because of the Spring St sign- a famous stop in NY, NY. As soon, I got there, the goal was to continue the good time and this place allowed that at a reasonable price. They had these can drinks that I really responded and they were only 7 dollars. Ok, I know that saying something is only 7 dollars in this economy can seem out of touch. But a drink in LA most of the time will run you at least 12 to 16 dollars, and I think it is mostly on the 16 side. So finding a 7 dollar drink in a hot spot is refreshing. It was a Suncruiser- a vodka spirit based drink- that was part of their specials for their night. maybe is more expensive on other nights when it is not on special? After the drink Conrand and I stepped into their floor. It was the first time we were there and it is basically a basement game room on whatever it is that Bane takes to make himself go from puny human to muscle-on-muscle-on-muscle villain. There is a lot of pool tables maybe like 5, and I saw ping pong, and other table games. Additionally, instead of a speaker or a recorder- the one's that spin old timey records- there was a band. I took a short video of the band but I could not tell you if this band was good or bad or their name or their style of music. I was partly present, and I just heard the music, I did not appreciate the performers. It happens. So Conrad and I play all the time together. And I saw a guy playing by himself. We quickly introduced oursevles and then we played pool. Here is the thing that I am happy to write about this place. Unline a regular bar with a pool table, where every one knows your name, this place had the opportunity to meet new people. And I enjoyed playing with this guy. He was a new challenge. He had fresh stories. And he offered a view of the world I enjoyed. So this place offers the opportunity to meet new people over a game of pool. If pool is your thing than this place will make you happy an if pool is your way of meeting new folks then this place will make you happy and give you opportunities to find the folks you imagine you need in your life. In the final analysis, I want to go here again, and experience the place more broadly. Not sure if I will write a new Yelp, because even though I bared bone this one, it still gives the primary messages I want to. And to the guy who I played with thanks for having a good time with me, even if it was short. And sometimes, short, can be just enough.

Also, for historical value, must list Harold's and Waldorf's which were pre-1980's and were notorious for hustlers. Waldorf's particularly got the reputation for having drag queens who supposedly stuffed their handbags with a heavy object to use as a weapon to sling around and protect themselves. Now the former owners of Redline are establishing a new bar, Kiso, which was also home to the former Score and 107, and caters to LGBTQ+ Communities. Kiso is split into three spaces: 1) Front is airy, bright, and more for Happy Hour conversations over signature cocktails and has the original, old school, long bar, that reeks of OG (Old Gay) history, from the present Barclay Hotel. 2) Middle room is more chicly sedate with more comfortable lounge seating and darker to create a more intimate atmosphere. 3) The inner room has a large dance floor and entertainment venue to host shows and related events. Some representative entertainment are DJ driven themed dance parties, obligatory drag shows, private events, fund raising, etc. Hours are 7pm to 2am Wednesday to Saturday if there are enough guests using the space. The bartender should have told me to move right away if i was in the way, WHEN THERE WAS MORE SEATS AVAILABLE!!! NOT WHEN IT WAS 30 MINS INTO THE GAME AND I HAD NO OTHER PLACE TO MOVE TO! IT WAS PACKED BY THEN! I really didn't appreciate that he was yelling at me, he was rude from the beginning and when i gave him the same energy back, he told me he was going to KICK ME OUT IF I DIDN'T CALM DOWN. He was giving LDE. When i asked for his name and to speak to the manager he walked away. MIND YOU.... after that some guy ended up standing right next to me the REST OF THE GAME. HE WAS IN FRONT OF THE LINE THE WHOLE TIME AND NO ONE SAID A DAMN THING. I have pictures with time stamps of this guy next to me the whole game. But some how he just wanted to be puffy chested with a woman. Horrible staff. Horrible place. Treat your customer's with respect, don't forget we are the ones that keep your doors open.
