One of my close friends planned a "boys" trip to get the 5 of us "groomsmen", "besties", "Ride or Die" compadres together for the first time in one place in too many years to remember. The initial thoughts for most was "Vegas here we come"... but this weekend was more about companionship, putting devices aside and getting reconnected in what my friend referred to as "Dirt Therapy". It was all that and more. We were greeted in a manner which felt more like showing up at a family retreat. We were provided the necessary gear and education and set out on our adventure, which delivered all we had hoped for and more. We had a minor mishap (of my doing), which resulted in a reboot, a replacement vehicle and a day of trails, lakes, gorgeous views and plenty of good memories. Abolutely wonderful! My husband and I just got married last weekend, and our dream was to do some offroading and camping. Chico Offroad rentals did not disappoint! The staff member that helped us head out was extremely knowledgable and friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed, and even recommended a couple of fun places to stop and take in the view. The Can Am we rented was in perfect condition, and handled everything we could throw at it! It was extra special and cool that the owner had taken the trouble of marking out good trails on a GPS tablet that we were able to take along and stay on track on our way to Finley Lake! We rented 2 commanders for my son's bachelor party and took them out to Stonyford for a couple of days to hit the trails. These things were badass. Climbed hills with ease. Taking them out at night was even more fun. Highly recommend if you want a great time with a few friends. We tipped one on its side and hit a rock with the other breaking a control arm. A little spendy to get them fixed if you break something or scratch the crap out of them like we did so keep that in mind before you go crazy with them but all in all a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and the owner even worked with me a little on the cost of the repairs. read more

Wow! All I can say is...wow! We had such an amazing time in the mountains outside of Chico. There is so much to be seen and Chico Off-road Rentals has the vehicles for for you to get around in and check out all the sights. We even learned of Ishi, the last of the yahi people of the deer creek area. It was not only scenic and adrenaline pumping but also educational for the whole family. Great choice! We needed a 2nd ride so we could take our grandchildren. They were very professional and gave us So much information on the ride we were going to be taking. We didn't have helmets for the littles but that wasn't a problem. We easily rented them instead of purchasing them. It was a quick and easy process. On top of it all, it was worth every Penny for the enjoyment and family bonding time we got with them. I would recommend the for any of your needs. I rented a 4 four seater and a 2 seater for December 31, 2021. Due to some COVID issues with some family members we had to cancel and I requested they keep the funds as we wanted to use the machines to go to an area where my nephew had gone missing 13 years ago. Rented a Can-am last weekend for a day and had a great time! The booking process was easy and clear. When we arrived to pickup the Can-am it was clean and looking brand-new, and whole facility was very neat and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful since it was our first time driving a Can-am. This company truly is the standard setter from start to finish. Really easy rental application, excellent customer service, and not one problem with the UTV. They went above and beyond. Our car broke down when we returned the UTV and the mechanics stayed with us until a tow truck arrived, even afterhours. I really can't recommend these guys enough. What a ride. We had a fantastic time. Ben and Ted were responsive and absolutely amazing and helpful. When a member of our party punctured the sidewall of one of the tire on one of the vehicles Ted found us up in the hills in about twenty minutes with a new tire.
