Fantastic experience at Glende Polaris in Chico. My wife and I finally decided to buy a pair of new Polaris Sportsman ATVs. I had been shopping/calling around, and found Glende. Alec was very responsive, professional and clear with his communications. They offered the best price I could find. I asked for several upgrades for both machines, and again, Alec was great. We agreed on the deal, set up a date and time for the purchase. Our pickup time was very streamlined. The paperwork took maybe 30 minutes, and we were outside getting a quick rundown on the operation, and loading them up. 0 Stars!!! The worst customer service I have ever seen at any business in my life. Not only horrible at the front desk, but the people assembling polaris machines are completely incompetent. If they were actual mechanics, they would be getting turned into the BAR (bureau of automotive repair). We spent over $20,000+ right after two of our friends bought 2015 RZRs and the people treat you like dirt. Two hours after our first ride, a factory defect in the front differential cause it to explode. Something was put together wrong from the factory. I have been racing motorcycles, and been around cars my whole life. I worked as a mechanic in a transmission shop till I payed my way through college. This was a factory issue. We had bought it right before Fourth of July weekend for a Pismo trip, so we call Glende and he told us to continue to drive it, and bring it in when we return from the trip and they would fix it no problem. We brought it in that next Monday and it was in their shop over a month before the decided to fix it. We told them to check the drivelines because when the front end bound up it most liked damaged the connecting prop shaft as well. They told us they checked it and it was fine. (It was not) The next outing we noticed vibrations and called in to ask about it, and if we should bring it in. He told us they all do that, and they have tried but could never fix the vibrations. Our next trip the vibration got worse and worse until the driveline let go after we were 40 miles into the wilderness. The driveshaft was bent and thrashing around inside the driveline tunnel headed to the front end. Smashing against the radiator coolant lines we were stranded until we could remove the shaft or bend it back. We found someone luckily out there after a long while, to help us get the machine in a condition to get out of the mountains. Using a bar to bent the driveline straight enough (still knocking around but not hitting coolant lines) for us to move it. A nightmare of a situation brought on by the negligence of Glende polaris, by not fixing the damage originally done by the front end. On to the next nightmare. We called and told them that the driveshaft let go, and we needed it to be fixed because it was still in warranty, with only 180 miles on it when the second catastrophic failure happened. At this point I wanted Glende to keep their hands off our expensive broken new toy... but Polaris needed pictures for the warranty so we brought it in. Here is the worse part! We wrote down mileage, and took before and after pictures of the odometer, and they drove it 3 miles with the driveshaft thrashing around tearing up our machine even more for some idiotic reason!!! Then they pulled it completely apart to take pictures and told us they were not gonna warranty it! We called and opened a case with polaris at this point. Polaris said Glende told them, they thought it was driver error and our fault. Polaris told us exactly what Glende sent them. It was just a request for a new driveline. Which is an unusual part to break without breaking an axle first. Glende tried to hide the fact they didn't fix it the first time by not linking this issue to what caused it. Grey had the nerve to tell me "well I know in the adds they have the razors jumping..." And also "if it was bent the first time it wasn't that bad..." Are you kidding me?! Do you think it's gonna fix itself??? Glende lied to us and said they were fighting for us to warranty our RZR, while telling the factory not to. They closed our case without warranty. Then Polaris finally decided to give us a free driveshaft after coming to the conclusion that Glende screwed us over. We ordered it from twin rivers as to not do any business through these crooks. And it gets worse. I called Glende and told them we were going to pick it up, and they said they had it torn apart.. and why didn't we wanna pay them hundreds of dollars to fix it? We said we were angry and wanted our machine they had now failed to fix twice back immediately. More drama and waisted a week and a half dealing with them. I went to pick it up and they wanted almost $100 for diagnosis. Even though they were just supposed to take pictures and we knew what was wrong. Had to pay them to release the RZR back to us. It was barely put back together, with the skid plates not together right. One of the kids comes ripping out of the back with it and stops at our trailer. Luckily that will be the last time we ever see those incompetent crooked people. We got the parts from Twin Rivers Polaris in Yuba City and I fixed it myself and haven't had a problem since. Stay Clear of this shady establishment. Polaris should pull their products from this shop before they hurt someone or worse. read more

The whole group at Glende Polaris Yamaha are absolutely customer service oriented. If I was to start a similar business I would look to Glende as an example of how to make customers feel like they matter. Everyone is helpful, instructive and enthusiastic bout being there. I had an excellent experience with purchasing my quad from Glende Polaris. I live a decent distance away, but Shaylee was very helpful with providing detailed information, including picturesof the quad I was looking to pick up. I have actually never been to the shop itself, but bought the quad over the phone and dealt with Gray who was nice enough to arrange shipping down to me at a very reasonable price. The bike came as I expected it to. It was in a great shape for being almost 2 model years old, although still new. They had told me from the beginning (hence the great price) the quad had some miles on it from being driven in and out of the shop, and a few times in the back lot. It was also the outdoor display. I was fine with that, as they guaranteed in has only been for that purpose and were very upfront and honest about that from the start. A couple of little things were wrong cosmetically with the quad, maybe even only occurred during transport, but Gray was quick to get in touch with me, and let me know he was on it, and the parts could even be replaced under warranty!!! One can only appreciate customer service like this. So far, I have nothing bad to say about this shop. I would like to get down there to meet the staff in person and pick up a few things in the near future. As always I will update if anything changes, but I plan to keep doing business with Gray and Shaylee! Ill travel the distance, as I'm not too impressed with my own local polaris shops yelp reviews... All the comments that are five stars on here clearly appear fake to me after my several experiences at this Polaris dealer. To start with, they have terrible customer service, unlike these 5 stars reviews claim. They are rude, impatient, and not willing to stay a minute past the time they close (including the owner) to finish a purchase over $20,000. Unfortunately because they are the only Polaris dealer near me, I have had to spend far too much money at this dealer. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone however. I could continue on with terrible experiences such as a repair of a side by side purchased there, but I think you get the point. Avoid this Polaris dealer! read more

Just purchased a new Polaris Razor and Trailer from here. Absolutely best service and prices in Nor Cal and on accessories too! I had already priced accessories online and they are the same price in store. Only they assembled, offered advice (that mirrored forums) and were overtly friendly. Not pushy. We'd been searching for a Triton trailer for several months. We looked all over Northern California and Oregon. The trailer model we wanted isn't a very popular model and no dealers had them in stock. But Gray Glende, of Glende Polaris, went out of his way to help us out. He tracked down the model and made a special order--and gave us a great price, to boot! We picked up the trailer yesterday and couldn't be more impressed with the service and every person we dealt with at Glende Polaris. Not only was Gray enthusiastic and helpful, but the entire staff went out of their way to make our buying experience a stellar one. All the paperwork was written up and waiting for our signatures--and we don't have to mess with DMV because Glende Polaris is doing it for us. The trailer had a minor problem with a taillight and Gray and his service rep were under the trailer in moments, tracking down the faulty connection and fixing it promptly. And they smiled through the whole process, even though this trailer sale was likely one of the week's smaller sales as far as cost went. We'll definitely be back at Glende Polaris if we're looking for any of the quality vehicles (new and used) they offer.
