My wife's favorite store. Being 5'11" they have clothes that fit her and don't look like Granny Goose clothes. When I go here for presents the staff is always helpful. They are constantly getting in new inventory and alert my wife. Lucky me! They are always having sales and deals. She thinks their clothes are reasonably priced. read more

Well. I have been a long time fan of Chicos and have been coming here for years, although my last visit was a few years back. I love the selection, the sizing system, The sales ..Really great. BUT The customer service... ugh. It's like that scene out of pretty woman when Julia Robert's walks in and they ignore her. Years ago I think they were the same three or four sales ladies in there. One of them was friendly the others not so much. If you weren't dressed to the nines, they would ignore you whether you could afford the clothing or not. He got to the point where I used to go out of my way and drive to the Orchard Park location because they were much friendlier. A few days ago there was a particular item that I was looking for and purchased online and needed to go to the store to pick up since there is no longer in Orchard Park store I went to the one in Williamsville, the only one in our area. Upon entering, there were two sales people in the store, no customers. One of the sales people was in the corner of the store far for me and the lady who was working at the counter didn't even look back, but said a very disinterested hello. I did find a few items to try on and had them in my arms. She barely acknowledged and just said again under her breath into herself the dressing room rooms are unlocked. The other lady came over. Asked my name wrote my name on the door and helped me into the dressing room. That's more like the customer service that I am used to there. At that time I asked about my order online. The first woman, the unfriendly one, said we don't have any order and I said well I ordered it online and got a confirmation. She said that that's impossible. We don't have anything . The friendly sales lady asked me what the item was. I told her and the unfriendly sales person said oh there is one of those in the back. Let me bring it out of course that was my shirt, but apparently she goes online lags quite far behind the sale hadn't gone through yet. More on that later. I went to check out the unfriendly lady never made eye contact with me, continued her work and basically seem to be telling the other lady what to do and how to do it, even though I know the other sales woman has worked there for many many years. They both have I made my purchase and left the store and I won't be back. I even put an item on hold thinking I would go back the next day and purchase it, but I was thinking why would I subject myself to unfriendly sales people. I went home and ordered a T-shirt I initially wanted and had it mailed to my house. The order took immediately. Then two days after that I got an email from Chico online saying my initial order was available at the store. Looks like I will have to go back to cancel the order anyway. I can hardly wait. These women need a lesson in putting the customer and customer service. The one lady behind the counter who I am, assuming is the Manager has an attitude that is horrible. No eye contact, not friendly, and I would like to say she was having an off day, but as I said before, she has worked there for years and it has always been this way. The other women that used to work at that store had the same attitude. I'll just stick to buying online. I only gave two stars because of the merchandise. read more

Would not take an item for exchange because I did not buy it there! All receipts say they will take a return/exchange. They did NOT. Very unfriendly clerk also. read more

I am housebound and called the Williamsville, NY store and asked for a specific summer tee-shirt. "Diane" answered and was gracious and helpful. She answered all questions and held the tee-shirt for my husband to run over and pick up. I am a new client and a real fan of such wonderful service. BRAVO Diane! read more

Chicos is a store that had good quality, well-made clothes. The last couple years it has gone down in many ways. My last experience (of many) was I bought a shirt on sale. I received order confirmation. The following day I received a cancellation due to item no longer avaiable. I went to website and it was avaliable at a higher price. I understand prices fluctuating, however, if I bought the item, paid for, received a confirmation for it should be honored. I do not recommend CHICOS. UPDATE 04/17/2025: I no longer trust or can recommend Chico's for any on-line ordering. It's 2025, on-line ordering should not be an issue(s). Other than two previous emails providing information on the lack of service, the generic response is disconcerting on the customer service. I tried to call this morning an hung up after 13 minutes waiting. ORIGINAL Post below: Recommend avoiding Chico's on-line: The store is great; however, I'm fed up with getting a great deal ordering on-line, even able to use a $40 off offer and most of it not shipped. This is the third time it's happened in 2025. I've been a very loyal customer over 20 years. I'm going on a retail break from Chico's now. So not worth the frustration. I am contacting the BBB - Better Business Bureau regarding the on-line practices. This is a fulfillment and On-line issue, not the stores or merchandise. I've written Chico's and CUSTOMER service, with a response that I did receive one item, no mention of the other 4 items. Seriously!! What Happened: I ordered 5 items first week in April 2025. All of the items were $15 to $25. I only received one item. I wrote them on April 6, since the rest of the order wasn't fulfilled. They said it will be sent. Should've been no problem since the items were still showing available on-line. So I reached out again and asked. 4 days later my order was cancelled. Of course now 3 of the 4 items were/are still available in the size I requested, but now twice the price and I used a $40 offer, which was wasted. When I wrote CUSTOMER service, I asked that the email be sent/shared with a Manager or Director or on up, just responded from General Customer service. I also communicated that since it was the third time it's happened. I'm glad I took photos of everything, availability, pricing, and size. Chico's you failed on-line. Good product but lousy customer service (excluding the stores - they've been great). I've also noticed there are other people with the same complaint. read more

I was disjointed today . :( I am a long time customer and travel to many states. No one even acknowledged me when I walked into the store or even while inside. I have a $$$ a gift certificate that will have to wait till I go to another location. Sad to see the lack of customer service. read more

I love Chicos clothes and usually purchase my items online. Today ,however , I had to pick up an online order at the Williamsville store. The salesperson who checked me out was so condescending and snobby. I guess unless you're a regular shopper there you're treated like they're doing you a favor. I will not be buying there again. read more

Don't shop there in jeans and a sweatshirt and expect them to help. The staff service is dependent on how they perceive you. They offered others discounts but basically ignored me. read more

Lisa was very helpful and I got a lot of things. I would have spent more time, but the clothes are so packed together, it's hard to look, and the hangers have something wrong with them, every time you look at a piece and move it aside to see other things, the shirts and sweaters fall off the hangers. The store at the smith haven mall in Lake Grove doesn't have that problem. I had to leave it was too annoying to fix every shirt! read more

The clothes are ridiculously overpriced for synthetics, and the salespeople are rude and unhelpful unless you walk in the door already decked out in sequins, animal prints, and enormous jewelry. There are a few truly tasteful and beautiful pieces scattered through out the store, but in general, meh. I usually pick something up that looks great from the side, only to find that it has 13 pieces of "old lady flare" tacked on to it. To be balanced, sometimes I can really hit it in Chico's with their very comfortable and well made cotton Zenergy line, but only go when it's on sale. To practice your yoga, do you really need a $59 t-shirt that was made in China for pennies by some sweatshop worker ? Probably not. read more

Are you kidding? Snobby sales clerks, prices are off the charts for this venue. I love the clothes but honestly, you can buy the jackets at every thrift store in town, some still have the tags on them and pay $5...maybe $20 at a consignment store. The quality of the clothes just doesn't warrant the retail price. read more

Love, love, love Chico's....but not the Williamsville store. I make a point to visit Chico's stores throughout the United States whenever we are on vacation. And shop regularly at the Outlet store in Niagara Falls which gives great service along with the one in Syracuse at the outstanding Destiny USA Mall. Both have warm friendly sales personal. I have tried several times to shop in the Williamsville store but they are the most unfriendly sales people. Very unfortunate because I love the clothes and would like to have the opportunity to shop in this store. But every time I walk in it's like I don't exist. Guess even though I have the day off, I still need to take the time to dress in my work clothes in order to get them to notice me. Sad because I am not going to do this. I dress for work everyday, and when I have the oppotunity to put jeans on, and run out to do some shopping I do. As long as I have the money to purchase, what I look like should not matter. Don't get me wrong. I don't by any means go out looking awful, evidently just not like I have a bank account that meets with the Williamsville store standards. LOL how wrong they are. They should check with their outlets, I spend quite a few hundrend dollars everytime I am in one of their stores. Fact of the matter is, even if I didn't have a penny to my name, and just stopped in to brouse, I should be treated with a warm friendly greeting and may I help you. They are representing Chico's and I would think their CEO would want this to be a Chico trademark. read more
