I have been brining my two sons to Children's Dental World for at least... the past 12 years. The front office staff and each and every dental assistant over the years have been caring and wonderful. Dr. Siron is super patient with all the kids (and parents). And I know she has said the same thing over and over and over, "you need to brush more and better". But says it like it is the first time every saying it. There is a never a wait and the office is super duper clean. The place itself is nice and clean. There's plenty of parking. The staff is great and very friendly. The complaint I have is that they need to update their waiting room for the children. Zero stars, endangering children for $ Con-job smash and grab... this dental group saw my 18 month old and 3 1/2 yr old. We had a great dentist before then we switched to an HMO plan that then sent us to this place. It was clean, people were nice... Dentist's were very nice. BUT: They looked at my 3 1/2 yr old and said we need to take X-rays??? our previous dentist hadn't done that or even mentioned it. I started to think something was wrong when the X-ray mouth pieces wouldn't fit in my 3 yr olds mouth but they insisted... Then they only got 1/2 the mouth X-rayed... They then did an examine said all was fine, except on the X-rays that came back my 3 yr old had a cavity and they were going to need to fill it and put him under for the process. That's when my common sense and street smarts kicked in, who the f#%$ puts a 3 yr under and on major anesthesia unless they have a dire medical emergency! I immediately said ok, whatever you say. Let them look in the mouth of my 18 month old... I told them he didn't need a cleaning or anything because I wanted to leave ASAP. They then gave me a quote on the cavity for $950... And said let's make an appt for this today and I said no we'll be out of town, which was a lie of course... Left home feeling awful about this place and the parents and kids who've been duped by this place and have had unnecessary procedures done. That week we signed up for a PPO dental plan. We picked a new dentist in a great place in BH! Very nice and real calm with the kids... I asked him about X-rays and the cavity he said "we don't X-ray until 5-6 yrs old, because of radiation exposure and they just don't need it when they are that young." As for the cavity he said "your child teeth are perfect and has zero cavities". So F this place they are pieces of S! Telling me my 3yr old had cavities and they want to put him under for $950.... I feel sorry for those without the means to purchase better insurance.... DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE, THEY ARE NICE AND FRIENDLY BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING OR THEY JUST REALLY REALLY WANT TO TAKE YOUR $$$$ Now they just sent me a bill for $212 for the 3yr old and $110 for 1 yr old... We had insurance, so there should be no charge! Another reason this place should be shut down. This is what spurred me to finally write a review, I never write bad reviews unless something is really really wrong. I am not sure if the ownership changed since our visit in late 2011 but it's always nice to hear back from management regarding a negative experience so I decided to bump up a star. Great office staff! It's always been easy to schedule and never a long wait. Not to mention the cool waiting room for the kids. We haven't required any major procedures, but so far so good for their regular cleaning. They've always been very good with my girls. The dentist is thorough and nice. Came here on a living social deal...I only really came for the xrays and exam, not the cleaning only because I had a feeling it wouldn't be a real cleaning and it wasn't...it was just polishing of the teeth. The staff, however, were really great and friendly and the Dental Assistant seemed to be very good with kids and took the xrays really well and trying to make my child feel at ease. Office seemed very clean and sanitary, as well. I'm giving it two stars because I'm not sure I'd actually pay money to come here for that kind of cleaning for my child. Real cleanings please! Oh and the dentist doesn't seem that great with kids...she was really nice though, but didn't seem to really know how to interact with children, which is important if you're a pediatric dentist...just saying. read more

Thank you Brent for your reassurance that what happened to me isn't the norm. The receptionist did call me back and let me know it was a mistake. Although I had to take my daughter to an ER instead of a dentist because of this situation, it's good to know that if this situation was to arise again, your receptionist and whoever she called to recieved the OK to send me away, won't happen again. My girls love it here, they are super friendly. The office is clean and they have some games for the kids. They play a movie on a small tv for them while getting their work done. My girls have medical so everything is covered. read more

If I honestly could give 0 stars I would. I took my brother and sister to their dental appointment (first time coming here) I only took the health card that has the BIC # but they refused to see my siblings because we didn't have the blue and white card! I questioned them why and they said it was office policy then they said because they "can not bill dentical." This was surprising to me because from MY KNOWLEDGE you can, in fact you can verify eligibility without. I spoke to Vilma over the phone while I was still there but she was busy with payroll and was unable to speak to me personally she said they needed the issued date "to bill." She told me to call medical and get that effective date, but shouldn't they have assisted me with that? I think it is called "customer service/patient service." I was unable to be seen when if it was so easy like Vilma said to call them to get the information they should've done the same! The receptionist said " we can't make an exception for one customer," clearly this office does not care of the inconvenience it causes to their customers. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD TO TAKE THE BLUE AND WHITE CARD WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT I WOULDN'T HAVE WASTED THEIR TIME OR MY TIME! NOW I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL I RECEIVE THE CARD BECAUSE I HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! so for new patients if you have medical PLEASE TAKE YOUR WHITE AND BLUE CARD TO AVOID this inconvenience.! UPDATED REVIEW: The manager Vilma called my mother and asked to speak to me, she again insisted that they can not see patients without the blue and white card. I expressed my concern that when the appointment was made it WAS NEVER SPECIFIED TO BRING THE WHITE AND BLUE CARD.( Which is why I only took the medical card health card that we have) that was the BIC #) I would have not gone to the appointment if I would have known this. Why would we attend an appointment if we know we are not going to be turned away? The manager asked me to remove this review which is unethical. This review states nothing but the truth! When I recently saw my general dentist for a routine check-up I mentioned that I was looking for a doctor to see my kid. He referred me to CDW. I brought him in for just a basic exam and cleaning covered by our insurance, denti-cal. The office was pretty busy with patients and the kids were entertained with some video games while they waited. We were greeted at the front desk and seen by Dr. Siron who was sweet, thorough, and patient with all the questions a nutty parent has about their child's dental needs. While the dentist can be scary for a kid, I was very pleased overall with the experience that we had. read more

Staff was kind: especially Joanna who was most accommodating in giving us next day appointment (when I called the day before) and making sure my 5-year old daughter could be seen and at least half of her cavities could be filled since we live far. Loved loved loved Dr. Parnaz Mansouri!! I have taken my toddler twice for cleanings. Dr. Parnaz greeted us promptly and had a very calm, caring and sweet way about her. My daughter was instantly charmed. I couldn't believe how this dentist got my daughter to calmly lay back in her lap and get all of her teeth, "tickled." She was actually smiling and happy throughout and didn't want to leave. This lady is a toddler whisperer! I would definitely recommend this dentist. We will be back. read more

I was referred to this pediatric dentist from my regular dentist. So I was a little concerned that I was not able to chose myself. Only one in my HMO plan. It was discovered that my daughter needed some dental work. I was mortified that my three-year-old had cavities. I was afraid of being judged even though I've never skipped a day brushing her teeth. The dentist, Parnaz Mansouri, was incredibly helpful and concerned about my daughter. She gave me great tips on how to prevent further ones from happening. Seeing my daughter had medical problems, she referred me to the appropriate hospitals to have her fillings done. The dentist gave me all the numbers and info I needed to get her appointments. I will definitely go back for my regular visits to this office. read more

My son's dentist is great but the assistant are horrible and not friendly at ALL! If you're gonna be working with kids, be friendly at least. They handle the kids roughly; Wouldn't even greet you. Please train your assistants/staff to be more gentle, respectful and how to treat their young patients. As a medical professional myself, I know that these attributes are very important. I would not come back here if it wouldn't for the good dentist. read more

I took my kids for a dental check up, and I was impressed by the staff. They were clearly busy, but made a point of being cheerful and happy when greeting me. I appreciated the efficiency and pleasant approach. Dr. Joe was great with my kids - he has an upbeat attitude and really has a great way with children. Rosa was awesome too - she did a wonderful job informing me every step of the way how the cleaning was going, and pointed out what was good and what needed more attention. She had a good way with kids too. Overall, I would recommend this dental office to anyone with young kids! read more

This office makes it fun for the kids, with a TV always showing awesome kid movies and some game consoles available as well, not to mention the great staff! It was a horrible experience. I am sure my son will start to cry if we ever visit this place again. He got a tooth extracted and I had never ever pain myself when something was done under local narcosis, but he cried like I never heard him crying, so the dose must have been too low. And the doctor just tried to calm him and close the door so that no other kids hear him crying and wasn't at all interested in his pain. In addition the staff was only interested in payment, I never had to pay in advance, so it is strange if you have the impression for them it's only about money. read more

hi everyone!! well what can i say about this office is truly amazing i loved it and most importantly my son loves it. i have been taking my son there for almost 2 yrs now and recently he got some work done the dentist was truly amazing and what i loved the most is that she personally called at the end of her day to see how was my son doing!! who does that now days!!! the staff is great and they answered all my ?'s my son is never afraid to go there i still cant get him to floss but is a working progress. i work in the medical field (ob/gyn) and i recommend my patients to take their children there is truly a great place. read more
