Unprofessional call taker. Called to schedule, and was hounded for an insurance card prior to visit, even though I know all of the information on the card, like the ID/Group #. That is all the information that you need to know, prior to visit, which then we can scan ID/verify physical copy. Families that have MGM as an employer, please avoid this office. read more

OK, I'd like to UPDATE my OPINION on Children's Denistry Anthem location.... the dentist Nick is Cool, but the STAFF IS TERRIBLE!!! The last 4 appointments, I've had to reschedule for whatever "mess-up" the STAFF CAUSED!!!!! (Whether it be ; appt. time NOT scheduled, scheduled on a day they couldnt be seen (due to dentist that was working didnt take our insurance) , AND today' BS MESS...... they didn't have the supplies delivered to take impressions of my daughter's teeth...... SO, "the receptionist just says, let's just reschedule you ok?!" UNBELIEVABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! ADVICE; If you can't be "OPEN" TO RESCHEDULE A LOT, for STAFFS MESS UPS, go to another dentist. Otherwise, you could jeapordize losing what job you do have ,,,, during that time!!!!! I feel as a first time mom we're way more scared about kids and dentist. My son is not comfortable with other people. But they made him feel so comfortable!! I'm not sure how they do it but he was okay with everyone picking at his teeth and doing x rays. He's only 3. I totally recommend!! It's a small lobby but it's for the kids ! I whent in personally to book an appointment and as soon as I walked in the receptionist was rude. I have United Concordia and a child with severe Autism I was recommended to go to this place because they say the doctors and staff are highly experienced with children on the spectrum. I asked her if I can make an appointment and told her the insurance I have. I told her if she can check if my insurance is in the network and she right away looked bothered and lazy and told me the dentist in there office is not certified to do dental work and other explanations. She was to lazy to check insurance. I went to Sunrise Children's dentistry instead and right away took my insurance information and checked for me. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN IN THE SPECTRUM DONT GO HERE. RECEPTIONIST HAS NO PATIENCE AND GIVES YOU A MILLION EXPLANATIONS. I'm so disappointed in the way I was treated. Upon first entering we got lost and the first dentist was out of control. I'm grateful we weren't going there. We found this place and the entrance is behind the street side. It's definitely an old building but it is small. They called my daughter back and when I tried to go she said oh it's just X-rays and I said let me go. So I went back and the assistant was not very nice and was very stand offish. My 8 year old said she didn't want to go be back. She was very unhappy. The chairs are for adults and it's uncomfortable for a child. She left my baby laid back in an awkward position for well over 10 minutes. I told my daughter to sit up as she just looked uncomfortable. A lady who came in after me was seen before me and left before I dis. While I was sitting there waiting on the doctor to come back... I asked what was taking so long the girl said that she has her schedule and they have theirs and walked away. Overall they are unprofessional and I won't be going back. The office is dirty and needs a good thorough cleaning and for the kids they should at least have stickers or some sort of prize. The dentist is scary for a lot of children. We had a very good dentist back home so my daughter was very put off by this experience. I am looking for a replacement before her next cleaning. read more

Do not bother unless they are the only pediatric dentist on your plan! I book in advance, give them all the information they need to confirm insurance benefits and then show up for the appointment for which I had to take the morning off for only to find out no one confirmed ANYTHING and I have to reschedule for another week! Unprofessional to say the least. I told them to shred my information because I wasn't giving them the chance to do this to me again. You only get one chance to make a first impression! read more

This was our daughter's "real visit". The entire staff took such great care of her!!! Made her laugh, made her smile through our nervousness. She absolutely hates shots and she did have a few tears. Dr Jack explained all 12 steps and got us through this first of 2 visits. Thank you to Melissa and the assistant (forgot her name but she was awesome also). Dr jack Nguyen is AMAZING!!! My two girls love him and he can always make them smile. He is very patient and takes time to explain not only to the parent, but also to the child about their teeth. Everyone at the Tompkins office is amazing as well. Very clean office. Hopefully dr. Nguyen for a long time because he is the best! read more

I am a first time foster parent that took one of the four children in my care to be examined. From the time we walked in the door Melissa who works at the front desk was very friendly. Casey, who was the dental assistant was very patient with my foster child. He allowed her to talk to him about her fears of being at the dentist and he reassured her by being very empathetic. The dentist saw her and he was very upbeat and with a good sense of humor. He explained the process to her and me. She walked out smiling, after getting two toys from the treasure chest, and later admitted that it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. They really focused on her and showed a genuine interest in making her comfortable, so I didn't hesitate to schedule her six month check up. read more

My son has been having pain for a cavity and I was unable to find a child dentist who could preform the work needed due to covid-19 and not only did this office provide a pain free process for my child but the staff and dentist put him at ease. I honestly wish I could give them 0 stars my son has been going here and today was horrible !!! Yes we were running late for the apt. So I called to tell them we were running late they said as long as I was there in the next 15 min they would still see my son. Once we got there the lady at the desk had a very bad attitude and told me oh well they can't see my son. And even if I was on time since his insurance has changed they wouldn't see him either way that went. She then after saying that asked if I wanted to make an appointment why would I make an appointment if u won't even see my son and say he wouldn't be seen either way. It's not the point I was late. Her attitude was not called for. And not only that they tell people if they rate 5 stars and a picture In there office they will get a $5 Starbucks gift card. My child had an appointment in July. They did not call to confirm an appointment so I was a little worried, but I still went there with my child. Guess what !? The door was closed and no one was there !! Yes, we were stood up !! I called, but of course no one answered. I left a message but as I anticipated, no one ever called me back to tell me what was going on. How irresponsible and disrespectful is this !!?? No apologies for standing us up !!! My kids had an appointment at 9:00 and 10:00 , I had confirmed 3 days earlier by text. I get to the office on Tompkins and I'm told I didn't confirm my appointments I show the lady at the front desk my phone with the confirmation and she tells me my kids can be seen at 10:30. read more
