I was so happy with Children's Learning Adventure at first. Let me start off my review by saying all of the staff I had encountered were so amazing! I am in no way shape or form trying to bash on anyone that came in contact with my son once again EVERYONE WAS AMAZING! However I had one encounter that wasn't five star, which is understandable we all have our off days. The situation was I basically called to check up on my kiddo and the phone disconnected the first time and then the second time was transferred to the teacher, I said "hello.. Hello" and I could hear the teachers talking amongst themselves basically saying they were sure where my son was at when I originally called. Ouch. But come on we all have our moments. I am honestly warning all current and past that have enrolled to check their bank accounts because this is wild. I was charged for two weeks after I unenrolled my son. I reached out to the director and told her I moved, I got no response. I called and got no response. Eventually I went to the school and was told I need to fill out paperwork, now this is after I called twice. I spoke to a woman that said she would start the process, however may have spaced on it. I am human I get it but once I unenrolled my son I should've been refunded (I was told I was going to be refunded). No...I waited about a month and then finally just went to dispute with my bank. The bank got me the money no harm no foul. Was it a pain, yes but not worth of a review. Well a month and a half later I am looking at my bank accounts and there is a charge from children's learning adventure for the weekly payment. I was in shock. I thought we went through this. I filled out the paperwork, I disputed, I called, I left voicemails. I did the whole thing. Well I call CLA and I am told someone from billing will get back to me. Surprise Surprise, no one from billing called me. Now like I said I get mistakes happen but the random charge a month later? That's unacceptable. Which is sucks because I was excited to bring my son back to CLA in the future possibly but there is no way I can not support a company who takes peoples money and has no urgency to fix the problem. Like I said the staff that took care of my son was SUPURB, but this situation with the director and the billing people is not ok. read more

Cannot say enough how much we absolutely love CLA! I love that my sons can go to different classrooms, this was a huge factor when choosing a daycare in the beginning. At CLA they move around to classrooms such as culinary/arts/theater/lab -plus their incredible "mini city" - thereby supremely enriching their learning experiences. Plus meals are included in the cost, vs other daycares you have to bring your own snacks and lunch. Most importantly, the staff is absolutely amazing and so incredibly easy to work with. They communicate with the parents and truly go above and beyond to cater to every need. I have both my sons teachers contact info saved in my phone along with most of the office staff. I know that I can reach out to any of the staff members at any time to get any of the answers that I need for any question I may have. It took us a while to find a preschool for our daughter. My daughter has never been to a daycare before. This was a big transition for everyone in my family. We were looking for a school that not only can provide her with excellent educational support, but also we can trust the staff to ensure she is in a safe environment. I have to give a shout out to Mrs. Christina and Mrs. Janet at CLA. Mrs. Christina is alway there to answer our questions and be transparent with anything going on with our daughter. She is open-minded and a self-motivated problem solver with the kids. She treats the children with respect and works with them based on their needs. Our 2 year old went to CLA for a while, and we had a great experience with the teachers and staff. The teachers, especially Ms. Sulesa and Ms. Maria, were wonderful with him. They would reach out to him in the morning when we dropped him off and he's go willingly into their arms. They were always friendly and very communicative when we asked them about Joseph and how he was doing in class. The staff was always friendly. Always welcomed into the door with a smile and a greeting! The facility was never dirty, in my opinion, and the rooms I went in were never smelly. The food quality was pretty good as Well! I loved that they have the kitchen where they teach kids how to cook simple things that they can also do at home. We only switched daycares because of the cost and because we wanted a slightly different curriculum, but overall we are very pleased with our experience here. Our son learned some sign language, different words, some Spanish, and he always was smiling when we came to get him and couldn't see us at the door yet. This school is pretty amazing. My 2 yr old daughter absolutely loves this school. We toured so many child care schools, this was the only one that she liked and said "wow"! Depending on their age, they have different classes they go to (Art, Theater, Culinary, etc) instead of just staying in one classroom. Everyday after we picked her up from school, she was always happy and babbling a lot, so funny but we loved it! And yes, she loved going to school, she didn't worry that Mommy or Daddy was leaving, she was so anxious to get to her classroom, carrying her sippy cup. The reason for the 4 stars is that they do their daily reports on paper instead through an app (but we do like when they send home her projects/ activities home with her daily report) I'm more on the technology side but we really loved the staff, the director is always positive and understanding! I cannot begin to tell you how much we love this daycare and the staff! The location is very central, the facilities are immaculate! The staff and teachers are wonderful and make my baby girl feel safe and loved. I was nervous to drop her off at first, but all of my worries were put to rest when I got a text message from the staff with a picture of my baby with a smile on her face having a great time in her class! She has an amazing bond with her teachers Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Sierra. For my first time having a child in day care, I am confident she is in great hands, having fun and learning so much! My kids were never where they were supposed to be and if you ask where they are, you have to go search for them on your own. My kids got sick all the time. Teachers come from off the streets, I'm sure don't have much training. They don't do or have half the stuff they say on the website. I thought it was a great place to send your kid with good honest people, but I've been waiting for more than a year to get almost $900 back. They keep giving me the runaround, giving me wrong numbers to corporate, telling me it's being looked into never had a problem with them; I've been more than patient and understanding, waiting almost a year for what's owed to me had to pull my daughter out due to moving which sucked because we loved it there. Still, now they just are keeping my money after taking an entire month's payment out of my account when her last day was just a week worth of pay which should've only been $300 for the week and not $1,300 for the month it was their screw up and yet it's been more than a year and haven't gotten any money back from them. My friend also had the same problem when she pulled her son out. They didn't want to give her money back either they are a very expensive daycare; I know they can afford to give people their money back. $1,300 and $300 is a big difference, especially when moving I really needed it, and they took it and never gave it back. read more

I can only speak to the infant class, but I would recommend it to others who are looking to this center for their littlest ones. There are two classes under 12 months with at most 8 babies at a time on each room (Nevada limit of 4 to one for this age group- so each room would have at least 2 teachers). I would say it would be rare if there were 8 at a time since the babies can come in for as little or as long as was needed. My baby is a bookworm since going through this center. My toddler attended for one day and I decided to withdraw- it felt chaotic and unorganized- the teacher was pretty new and looked overwhelmed by the kids. The ration of children to teacher was not correct and they told me the other teacher was on vacation but again they should have covered that classroom with more caretakers. We love Children's Learning Adventure in Henderson and are so excited about many recent improvements (huge shout out to Ashlee and her team!). We have been with CLA for 3 years and having managed through the pandemic the best that everyone could, we love the new communications (newlsetters with photos), activities and inviting atmosphere of the facility. The décor all around the facility is fantastic with photos of the kids, art projects and seasonal items. In our experience, the quality of the teachers has been wonderful. It hasn't been a perfect experience as our son has difficulties with transitions. However, CLA has always listened to any feedback and worked with us to ensure he is ok, his needs are met and he is thriving. Now in preschool, he is really showing educational growth which is so exciting. He is consistently in a great mood when we pick him up and is thrilled to tell us about his day. Additionally, our daughter finished up pre-K at CLA last August and was extremely well-prepared for kindergarten. We are so grateful for the experiences she had in learning and social interaction prior to starting school. We highly recommend CLA! read more

The staff at CLA are amazing, kind, and great with children of all ages. Ms. Lisa is an incredible person that my child fell in love with, we were very fortunate to spend 6-12months in her class. Ms. Lindsey & Ms. Mckell are equally incredible, loving, and professional with the 12-18-month-olds. My child was always excited to go to school and on some days didn't want to leave. They keep the children stimulated, challenged, and help reinforce positive behaviors and happy children. Such great energy, always positive, and encouraging! The staff is incredibly on top of changing diapers and documenting all of the children's eating and sleeping habits on a daily basis. The school is always putting on fun creative activities for the children and their families. My kids have been going here for a year now and I love it but they love it more! Miss Marissa and Miss Bonnie were the best with my then 2 yr old. They were attentive and caring and kept us involved in my child's progression, and growth. They were patient, firm and consistent and set a great example for their classroom. And my son loves them so much! And their communication with us was so helpful! This is my child's third daycare experience and they set him up for his next level and he's doing great in his next class with his new teachers in PreK And his new teachers are great too! read more

I have three children that go to this school, a 4 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old and they all love it. The teachers here are super sweet and seem to like their jobs unlike some other daycares. My 4 year old switched into this daycare from a national chain and the difference has been night and day. The curriculum is great here with some Pre-K style homework assigned for the older kids and multiple different rooms for the kids to explore and learn about different types of activities such as a mock kitchen, gymnasium, art room, library and a theatre. They also have a spacious and shaded outdoor play area with different activities for different age groups, with the kids kept separated. Overall I couldn't be happier with my kids attending here and feel like its more than just a daycare. My almost 2-year old daughter has been going here 2 days a week for almost a year now, and she loves it! They have nice playgrounds for the different age groups, an indoor gym, play theater, library, and many different classrooms. They have fun events where parents can come and visit, like Thanksgiving lunch, Halloween trick-or-treat, doughnuts with dad, etc. Her teachers are kind, and she learns a lot and does activities we wouldn't always do at home, like art and sign language. We like getting daily progress reports from her teachers. Snacks and meals are included with tuition but you can bring your own lunch. They also said they are cloth diaper friendly but we haven't sent her in with cloth diapers yet since the COVID-19 quarantine. read more

My 4 yr old has been at CLA for 2.5 yrs. The management has changed once and only improved. As she's moved up in classrooms I've been worried the teachers may not be as great as her previous but I have really loved all the staff in each class. Since my daughter only goes 3 days a week, the flexibility of days if she's sick or out of town has been key. They serve snacks AND lunch which is a big perk. My 4 year old loves going to this school. We are a militsry family which we move MANY times...to include attending numerous schools for my son. This school is unlike any other. The school is large with a PE gym, theater, kids kitchen, adventure area...as in the kids leave their class to go to the gym or to the kitchen...or library. They are not just sitting in a class all day. The staff has been amazing especially during COVID 19. Easy transition into quarantine with offering at-home activities and great communication. Transitioning back to normal life they have gone beyond CDC requirements...they even have hired a special team that comes in and sanitizes during the week. Wow!!! That is the first things that comes to mine when I think of CLA!!! My daughter has been going there for almost 3 years now. She went through their preschool 5 program and had been there for vacation days and summer camps! We absolutely LOVE our CLA family! They care about the WHOLE child! My daughter BEGS me to let her go to CLA, I will ask her to stay with me on days when I have little or no appointments and she chooses CLA over me!!! Lol!!! CLA engages the children from the moment they walk through the door with hands on, stimulating, exciting activities from all aspects of the curriculum. I heard about this school from a friend that enrolled her 3 young ones right after I enrolled my niece somewhere else. I really didn't want to change her school so soon but decided to give Childrens Learning Adventure a tour. As soon as you walk in the doir the space is visually stimulating and inviting. The under sea motif runs all the way around the entrance. The staff is super bubbly and egagibg with all the children that walk in. Vianca was especially sweet and patient accamodating 2 tours before we signed up. The classes are broken up by age and are everything a child can ask for. The have a small library and movie room and the playground is awesome! I love seeing daily reports on how she is getting along and how to continue what she learned at school in the home. She loves going to school now and I love the drama free mornings! read more

Make sure your kids are completely potty trained and don't need ANY assistance because they'll leave your child in soiled clothing. My daughter was too afraid to ask for help. When I picked her up, I noticed right away that she reeked of poo. I don't know how the staff would not notice something like this. I am not one to write a negative review, but I feel an obligation to tell future parents/current parents at this location to run as fast as you can. On Friday as I was dropping my sons off, I sat in the car to watch and I witnessed Ms. Shelly (one of the staff members) grab my son by his arm and drag him to the bench. My son was crying holding his arm in pain and not a single other staff memeber went to help him. Child abuse in day care centers is a horrible crime and should be taken seriously. I filed a police report and the police were horrified by what happpened at the school and how the school was handling it. My sons will never go back to this school and I urge you as parents to ask your children if staff members have hurt them. So far I have learned from 3 other parents that their children were also abused at this location and they have removed their children. Please please keep your babies safe and keep them away from this school. The management of this school needs to be held responsible for the crimes of their staff members. My preschool aged son did not have a good experience at this place. Because of one of the teachers, he was visibly anxious and stressed about returning each day so we decided to withdraw him not too long after we enrolled him. We submitted their required 2 weeks notice and were still charged an additional week of tuition after the two weeks had passed. This was after they had already double charged us for a $150 registration fee during his first week. When I notified them of the mistake I was told it had happened to several other other people that day too! Trying to get a refund was a difficult and time consuming process. I made numerous phone calls not only to the director but to the corporate office as well. None of my calls or email to the director were returned and neither were the calls to Danielle the VP at the corporate office. The lack of professionalism to correct their mistake in a timely manner and disrespect in not responding to calls and emails is appalling. read more

I rarely write reviews and this review is for their school aged summer camp program. After the tour, we were initially excited about all of the fun summer activities and field trips but then reality set in. My daughter went all summer 3 days a week and was often bored. The staff were terrible about creating discipline and all summer long my daughter complained about issues with other or bigger kids. The field trips were poorly chosen and didn't vary by age group. So their first outing was to the mob museum which while a great place isn't very entertaining to a 6 year old. The whole summer just seemed to be unstructured and definitely did not live up to the hype of the tour. read more
