I have been bringing my family here since 2008. I have had Dr. Cavanaugh for all four of my children. I still have two children in her care that are now 13 and 11 and have been coming since they were newborns. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for this office. From the ladies who answer the phones, to check in to the medical assistants to the nurses and many of the doctors my children have seen here! I am grateful to have found this place! My kids have had to see a few of the doctors over the years as sometimes they need to come in for sick visits and ALL of them are amazing! The atmosphere is welcoming! The medical knowledge and care is AMAZING! My children who are 3 girls and 1 boy absolutely love the doctors here! I have never ever had an issue with anything! I am in the medical field so it's easy to pick up on things but I can say this place is amazing! Always clean! Never had any issues with getting in, getting forms, quick visits, knowledgeable and FRIENDLY doctors! Referrals when needed, med refills quickly! Love this place!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this office. We moved here in 2017 when my daughter was 13 and started seeing Dr. Razman. My daughter had a tremendous fear of going to the doctor due to a few surgeries growing up and Dr. Razman was extremely friendly and made her feel comfortable. In 2020, I had my 2nd child and started seeing Dr. Black. Unfortunately since he was born I feel like he's been at the doctors office at least twice a month due to wellness and sick visits. Dr. Black was extremely thorough, answered all my questions and she was so understanding these past few years. Always keeping us up to date on what they had been seeing etc in the office related to Covid and all the other virus's trending upward. At the same time my teenager started having extreme anxiety so Dr. Razman referred us to see Dr. Weber for further evaluation. Dr. Weber was so easily for her to talk to about her anxiety and trying to root cause why she has it. She knew just the right questions to ask and after the first appointment my daughter felt a lot more at ease. Like others have said in past reviews, you do have to call early in the morning to get a same day sick visit appointment but in my experience most doctors are like this. They are open on Saturday's which for us is a blessing since it's hard to get off work during the week especially when you are worried about your kids. If you are looking for a pediatric ls office I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Black, Dr. Razman or Dr. Weber. read more

While it does take some time to get a live voice on the phone to make an appointment, the recording does tell you what number you are in the queue. Everyone I have encountered from the front desk staff, to the three different physicians we've seen thus far have been fantastic. The doctors are great with kids. Really great. They clearly have a passion for working with children. My 2 year old granddaughter actually enjoys going to the doctor now. The waiting room and private rooms are clean and child friendly. The wait times have not been bad at all. They are open seven days a week-which is unheard of. I am so happy we have this office so close to home. read more

We've been going here for years and it seems like a lot is changing and not for the better. It would be great if they would have an option to actually speak to a person when you call. I get the automation saves the practice man power but if you're going to have an extensive pre recorded options it should have an option to talk to a live person. read more

I met with a physician at this practice ahead of time to discuss a delayed vaccination schedule. I do not believe in vaccination at birth especially when a child's systems (Kidneys, Liver, ect.) haven't had time to acclimate to its new found body and immune system yet, so I decided to forego the Hep B vaccination immediately after delivery. Physician was okay at the time of our initial office visit with a reduced & delayed vaccination schedule, therefore we assumed North Pinellas Pediatrics of Trinity as our Primary Pediatrician. All records of our newborn's delivery were sent over to them from the hospital on a Thursday. Prior to discharge, as advised from the hospital's attending physician, we called to make our initial & important 48 hr. new baby wellness check-up. We were asked over the phone why our child didn't receive the Hep B vaccine and if we were going to get it before we left. Keep in mind all of this was already previously discussed. I said, "Not now, we can start vaccinations at 2 months of age like they did with my age group (37)." They explained that they cannot see our child unless we allowed them to administer the Hep B vaccine at the upcoming appointment. We declined this, as previously discussed, and they left us on the hook for trying to find another Pediatrician last minute with a weekend coming up to try and follow up on our newborns health status during the crucial 48 hr mark. The irony and unprofessionalism here is that they supposedly "cared" so much about my child's health and overall well-being that they were offended I didn't give him the Hep B vaccine at the time of delivery, that they actually put my child at worse of a risk by not even assessing their health status 48hrs post-delivery! Does that even make logical sense? Only if you look at it from a point of commerce, and not health care. The health of my child was never taken into consideration, only their vaccination record was, which is based off "recommended" NOT required CDC guidelines. They are "cuckholden" to these guidelines by insurance companies for funding, reimbursement, and additional incentives. Sorry, but as a healthcare professional myself one of the patients 7 rights is - the "right to refuse", and to be able to choose my and my child's treatment options. This is NOT the right of the physician or the insurance companies to dictate! They supposedly swore a Hippocratic oath -"First, do no harm", yet knowing the risks were willing to let my newborn go unseen by a pediatrician for 6 whole days until we were able to find & schedule an appointment with a private practice pediatrician who is not coerced or intimated by insurance companies. read more

Let me start by saying the doctors and nurses here are great (and my only reason for 2 stars)! However, the front desk staff is the WORST! This is only one of many issues I have had scheduling an appointment with their staff. I called yesterday at 1:30 to make a sick visit appointment for my daughter. Surprisingly i got through right away without the usual 15+ minute hold time. SHERRY was short and rude in telling me there were no more appointments for the day with no other help offered. Seriously? I hung up and called right back and not surprisingly there were multiple sick visit appointments available to choose from. Wow! When we made our way in for our appointment the majority of the girls were standing around chatting and laughing, not bothered to help the multiple people checking in with the one young lady who was actually doing her job. It's gotten so unprofessional, it's sad. My mother worked here as a nurse when i was growing up, I came here as a kid, my daughter has come here since she was born and in her five short years of living it has gone so down hill. I'm glad I didn't take Sherry's word and called back for an appointment as my daughter tested positive for strep throat and we were able to get her the medicine called in that she needed. I left a message for the front office manager with my name and number but have yet to hear from anyone. read more

This is a wonderful thing medical office. All of the nurses are kind and capable and Dr. Charlene Weber is amazing! My teen girls love her. She listens and takes her time and answers all of our questions and explains in a way that we can understand. Can't say enough good things about this office. read more

I've been to quite a number of doctors offices in the last 10 years of having children and I find that this has been the best experience at a doctors office you can have. They are tucked in behind outback steakhouse in Palm Harbor off of US 19. When you pull in it's nice to see a no smoking sign around all of the surrounding outside walking areas by the office. Upon entering the office you enter directly into a very large waiting area. You need to know the doctor's name that you are going to see as they have three different windows open for different doctors to check in with. I believe they have 12 doctors that practice there. On my first trip I took my 2 1/2 year old daughter for a cough that has been lingering. We saw Dr. Dolores and she was phenomenal. Very calm gentle and asked all the right questions. She asked me if I agreed with her recommendation for care and I felt she was spot on. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes! Wow! My second trip which happened to be the very next day, we saw Dr. Blank. This time it was a 4 o'clock on a Friday and we were in and out in less than 20 minutes! He listen to my concerns, took a gentle look at my nine-year-old very shy son and made him feel at ease. He recommended care and just like the other doctor asked if I was okay with the recommendations he made. Again I was totally in agreeable and we were out of there. The rooms where you wait are spacious and clean. And overall experience has said before completely spot on both times. This will be our new home for pediatrics! read more

I have been taking my children here since they were born, so for 6 years. Here is what you need to know about this practice and why I suggest you look to another group. 1. Making Appointments - this is a nightmare. To get an appointment, you have to call right at 7:30AM and sit on hold for at least 20 minutes to get an appointment for that day. This was true even pre-COVID and is still true now. They even had a ridiculous rule that you couldn't schedule an appointment for the following day and you had to call bright and early (7AM pre-COVID, 7:30 post-COVID) to get in for a sick visit. 2. The appointment itself - Make sure to leave plenty of time. For both sick and well visits, you will wait for at least 1 hour back in the room. They never run on time so make sure you allow a minimum of 1.5 hours for a visit. One of the doctors is notorious for running 2 hours behind. I would avoid her at all costs. 3. Telemedicine is a joke - When you schedule an appointment and ask if telemedicine is an option, they will ask your symptoms. Then, if THEY determine telemedicine is appropriate, they will schedule you for an appointment. However, after you sit on hold for your appointment for 30+ minutes waiting for the doctor, don't be surprised to get a phone call telling you that you have to come in person. If this happens, do not expect anyone to work you in or any doctor to help out for their mistake. These people do not care. 4. Getting forms - This takes 7 days. This practice is too large. They want you to think they are the only game in town, but they are not. In fact, all of my other family members (4 other families) have also left this practice for the reasons above. Mainly, no one there cares about your time. If you have a new baby, bring formula or be ready to nurse because you will be there for hours waiting for a doctor. My advice to save you from suffering and keeping your children from suffering is to go to a different practice. If you do choose to go with this practice, you will eventually change your mind because it has been this way forever. read more

Love this facility for my children's care! The office staff are super friendly and professional. It's rarely hard to get an appointment for a check-up because the practice is so large. If you need a last minute appointment, I've never had a problem. The one thing that I really like is their after hours on-call nurse and doctor. They call you back within 15 minutes and address your concerns. I am appreciative of their thoughtfulness in calling to follow up the next day to make sure the little one was okay! They have a huge fish tank in the waiting area that my children love and in the way out, the brave one gets a sticker. Hey, Mom wants a sticker too! read more

I love this office and especially love Dr. Dolores Razman! We have been coming here since my baby girl was born and she is nearly 1 and a half. We never wait long to be seen and she is always thorough, fun and caring. In 2 emergent situations we were able to be seen same day by a doctor in the practice. The other doctors were great too. I've had a little trouble waiting to get immunization records from the front staff but most things happen seamlessly. read more

Our first time using them so not sure if this is typical customer service from them or not. I got tired of waiting and hung up. Called back and took a different option to speak with a nurse. This option allowed me to leave a message for the nurse to call me back. Been close to one hours since leaving a message and still no call back. If this was a restaurant, I'd be looking for a new place to eat. read more

Great Staff! I brought my daughter in with what we thought was a bad stomach virus (it was going around). Dr. Charlene Weber immediately recognized our child's symptoms as appendicitis, and after a few in-room tests, sent us directly to the ER. I was skeptical, but sure enough her diagnosis was accurate. She had emergency surgery and is now recovering. I can't help but think that a lessor skilled doctor may have sent us on our way thinking that is was just a stomach bug. On a side note - the office staff was also super awesome. Ashley at the front desk helped me fill out my paperwork (because I was late and flustered), and was friendly and pleasant. If you move here from another state good luck getting your child seen here unless you happen to be in the time frame of their wellness visit or if they are sick. They first refused to fill out my children's school forms because they were not established here. Then when I tried to get my children in for a flu shot they refused because they were not established here and the only way to establish them is if they are sick. Basically, my kids have to get the flu before they will give my children a flu shot. When I said ok my kids have a cold they need to be seen they said now I am just making stuff up. You cannot win with this place. They told me to go to Publix to get a flu shot even though Tricare assigned them as my children's primary care providers but have been refused access to medical care by this office. If you are a military family go somewhere else, they do not deserve to be treating our kids. Would you want a doctor treating your children that blatantly refused to provide a flu shot for children who they were assigned as their PCM? The front staff lack empathy and have a bad attitude. We found a better doctor anyway. Everything happens for a reason and I will not settle for sub par medical care, you should not either! read more

This place is a patient mill. You will always feel like you are being pushed out of the appt. Good luck actually getting an appointment with your own Dr. - That only happens for Well Baby visits scheduled a month or more in advance. I like 'our Dr.' but she was never ever available. We saw several different Dr's, all with conflicting treatments for the same problem, and all never actually resolving the problem. The majority (not all, to be fair) of their staff is pretty rude, or unprofessional. I often had to listen to staff having conversations about their personal lives while I was being 'helped'. I understand the business model for any practice includes making money, I get that. A good practice will want to make money and actually help your baby, not ask you to visit 3 times for the same problem without any relief or resolution. read more

This past fall my son visited doctors at North Pinellas 4 times (over 2 months) before he was properly diagnosed with walking pneumonia. After receiving the correct antibiotic, he was better within 7 days. In January he was seen again for an upper respiratory infections and was prescribed 2 inhalers and no antibiotic. I called two times and again asked for an antibiotic fearing pneumonia and they would not call one in so we went back in again for another visit. Again, no change in care said they felt he was getting better. 5 days later he is coughing up small amounts of blood with the mucus from his chest. I called and made another appointment only to be called back and told I need to take him to the ER and they won't see him. If you want to spend a lot of money and make a lot of visits and be misdiagnosed then I would go to them. Otherwise, I would find another Dr. that listens to patients and can provide proper care. read more

This Doctor's office has the most INCOMPETANT billing department that I have ever delt with in my life. There is nothing more frustrating that being billed for something that you shouldn't be billed for and then spending hours every month trying to get it fixed. Don't ever bother calling the number on the bill because no one will answer the phone and no one will ever call you back. I paid my copay and only for this one single bill (not the others) they didn't apply the United Healthcare discount. This caused me to get a bill for an additional $28 for a year. After calling and calling and wasting my time. I finally decided to pay it because they sent a final notice and said it was going to collections. I am not going to have my credit report dinged over a stupid $28. It was the principal of the situation - not the money. The bill has been paid but buyer be warned - if ANYTHING should go wrong with your bill - you will not get it fixed by these people. read more
